The bikes are crammed way too close, and it's impossible to navigate in that room in the dark. The front desk person said she would help me to my bike but she also didn't have a light. Then tried to push my foot into the pedal, when I said that's the opposite of what I wanted. The instructor/mic audio was muffled and hard to follow. The staff at the front desk were blasting music and they could not hear anything I said, or visa versa. Only one bathroom but like 50-60 bikes. Class says 45 minutes but ended at 40. I'll be honest, I didn't think soul cycle was for me. I tried a number of classes over the years at different locations and realized that what I really needed was a good instructor!! Melu completely changed my perspective on soul cycle, and her playlist was fantastic (I do better and feel more motivated with upbeat house/edm). I didn't feel lost during this class because Melu explained everything very well, and I even pushed myself harder than I ever have :) I can't wait to go back!!!! (ONE note tho... I wish the instructors here had better microphones. You have to focus pretty hard to hear what they're saying because it's muffled/ blends with the music. Whenever I have guests visit from out of town I have an agenda so they can experience the best unique parts of Denver. The first things I have them do to start the trip off at full throttle is Dylan's Soul Cycle Sessions. Dylan is an Eccentric Bohemian whose Passion, Playfulness, and Cheekiness drives his cyclers places you would never think you would go on a stationary bike. Through out Dylan's work out experience you'll have extreme amounts of avant-garde fun, an introspective journey of self improvement, and all the while doing a challenging workout. It's somewhat hypnotic. Some of my most memorable moments in his sessions was when I first came in with a friend he stated "it looks like we got some daddies in the house." And in my head I'm like what the "hell" is this place but if I'm being honest with myself, I liked it. Later on in the cycling session I was working so hard to keep up and I was on the verge of exercise-induced asthma. I then see Dylan popped off his bike and bring me an oversize candle that he put up to my face and then he said "blow". My heart rate was literally in zone five and he was asking me to "blow out the candle and make a wish." And I was like... "F*€K it" and I succumbed to this SoulCycle witchery so I blew out this oversize candle and made a wish. Then to my surprise, I became hyper fixated on what just happened and it brought me so much joy and it invigorated me to keep my pase going for the workout. Since that moment I trust Dylan immensely. I'm really big on people who are themselves and they can't be anything but "that". That is Dylan for you. Obviously Dylan is extremely outlandish, I love that about him and what's wild is he is just as extremely caring, kind and inspirational on the other side of the spectrum. He's been through a lot, and has a good head on his shoulders. His honesty and vulnerability inspires the peeps in his session by what he shares. Through his stories, he is an icon of how, even if you came from the deep trenches of despair, with perseverance and determination you can get over your hurdles, and even be this true badass fit, hair flipping, cathartic passionate shrieking SoulCycle instructor. It makes me wonder are all SoulCycle sessions this stimulating or is this just Dylan's interpretation of them. If not, I believe he needs to teach a master class to put the Soul in SoulCycle. I'm so entertained that the pain of a work out is an afterthought. Not to mention sessions happen to burn a $hit ton of calories. Dylan SoulCycle is a Denver Experience Must. Soul Cycle was conveniently located near our hotel and added an upbeat and high energy workout to our trip. We cycle multiple times a week so it was great not to stall our routine. Although we enjoyed the instructor and workout, the studio was situated and packed with bikes right against each other. The backside of the rider in front of me hit my face and the bike of the rider behind me knocked my bike the entire time. This studio is packed like sardines and it's too close for comfort. A reconfiguration is needed not only from a comfortability standpoint but for an overall health, safety, and fire perspective. Please please consider changing this aspect. Stacking bodies and bikes from wall to wall is not ideal and takes to soul out of the experience. read more

I am newer to cycling and decided to try SC via ClassPass. I absolutely love the Taylor Swift Tuesday Rides. Especially Dylan who leads them with such good energy, passion, and openness. I have attended class here three more times since my original review and free birthday ride. I'll start with the pros. The amenities here are amazing. They have single-user restrooms (ALWAYS a plus in my book) and lots of showers. In these areas, they have dry shampoo, spray deodorant, towels, hair ties, bobby pins, mints, ear plugs, tampons, and anything else you might need before or after your ride. I like that they offer 60 minute rides sprinkled throughout the schedule, because many cycling studios only offer 45 minute rides. A lot of us like the challenge that an extra 15 minutes brings. Also, Dylan. Enough said. He's quite possibly the best instructor with whom I have ever taken a cycling class. After my birthday ride, I purchased their introductory three-pack of rides. I went to a Sunday morning class with him, and after that made sure that I only took Dylan's class. He has a true gift for connecting with and motivating people. I actually cried in one of his classes because of a combination of the music choice, the endorphins, and his words of wisdom. Now for the cons. The studio as a whole is simply too small. Each time I have attended class here, I have seen people actually go outside to change out of their cycling shoes and into their coats because there is not enough room in the lobby. With the potential to have 50 people in each class, there simply needs to be a larger lobby area. Something twice its current size would be ideal. The price is also somewhat outlandish. Their introductory packages are decently priced, but anything after that is very expensive and they don't seem to offer bulk discounts. Even if you purchase their largest class package, 30 classes, it still comes out to $24 per class - and that's for one class that doesn't include shoe rental. They also don't offer any monthly memberships. I work at a fitness studio on the weekends, am very familiar with the boutique fitness world in general, and can tell you that is unheard of. Going off of this, the bikes also don't have monitors or anything else that would help with performance tracking. For the cost, it would be nice to be able to view one's watts, RPMs, miles traveled, calories burned, etc. Overall, SoulCycle is a fun, uplifting experience. They have a lot of things going for them, but there is also room for improvement. read more

I've been doing spin for about 12-15yrs & heard soul cycle was amazing!! Wow was i disappointed. So boring lots of talk to start then spent the 1st 2 songs pedaling. No tap backs, push ups like it says.. plus you are right on top of the person next to you; they squash you in like sardines! This studio is still one of the worst designed - like people literally standing in the snow outside to put their shoes on - but the staff is lovely and I loved Zoe's class...Great music and wonderful energy. I'm thrilled that Soul Cycle opened up in Denver. I went to the Soul Cycle in Boston four years ago and I really enjoyed it. I went to the 8:30 a.m. class this past Sunday. I think my brain is still recovering because I can't remember the instructor's name but she was awesome! She was energetic, fun, and motivational. I did purchase a water and it was charged to my credit card as opposed to the gift certificate credit I had on file. I'm not sure why that happened but it's definitely not a big deal (and I really needed that water!). The flow of traffic between classes is quite a mess (it was extremely difficult to get to my locker after class - not to mention a woman literally pushed me to get past me - what is that?!?! - and yes, I called her out for it). The facility is really nice and the staff is attentive and very friendly. I will definitely go back because I'm hooked. I just hope people are a little bit more orderly and have their endorphins kicked in in a positive fashion as opposed to a negative fashion after class. Ha! If you're looking for a fun, energizing, challenging workout with motivational instructors, this is definitely the place to go! read more

I went here on Saturday for my first SoulCycle class in Denver (I've done it in other cities) and the main reason I only gave them 4 stars is because it's so expensive. The staff was friendly but it was so crowded because the studio just opened that the waiting area was insanely hot and everyone was scrambling in and out of there ants. I got lucky and found parking right out front but I imagine it'd be really hard to find parking after work on a weekday. I wish they would offer more promos too because $28 for a class is pretty crazy considering most people don't just belong to this one studio for working out. The instructor was very high energy, motivational and thanked everyone as they walked out so that was nice. Enjoy your workout! read more

I started doing SC when I was was on the east coast, in NY and Boston. I am not a huge fan of cycling classes except for when it comes to Soul Cycle. In my opinion, they just seem to have the formula down to a science, and their cult following is proof of that! SO excited that SC is open now in Denver. Cherry creek parking can be tough but this side of Cherry Creek North is alway pretty quiet so parking is pretty easy. ALL of the instructors are amazing. Zoe has amazing energy, Dylan has awesome and unique playlists and great message that hits home. Melu's music is also fire and she's super motivating. Lexi is super fun and inspiring, her classes are always hard (they all are tho) Front desk staff is all super helpful and nice. Always going above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. Busy in between classes, but isn't it at every studio?? Hands down worth the investment, go hang with the sweet people at SoulCycle Denver! read more

Where to begin...I am an unabashed workout trend-hopper. Maybe it's because a Gemini. Maybe it's because I mainline Buzzfeed and E! every day. I love trying "trendy" workouts. But, as a Gemini, I go to a class or two or three and flit flit away onto the next social media approved workout. BUT all of that changed when I went to SoulCycle. On an off chance, I found Dylan's Kanye versus Chance the Rapper class. I couldn't resist. And ever since, I have been HOOKED. The classes are incredible, always different, make you work (hard!), and, most importantly, make you leave feeling transformed. Physically, of course, it is always challenging and certainly transformational. But the "soul" component comes into play in the dark, the music is blasting, and you release. I have a Peleton at home for a year and I just went to their NYC studio for a live ride. When SoulCycle showed up across the street from my apartment, I was like.. what the heck, let's give it a try!! Wow it's totally different!! And I love both!! The instructor Dylan is fantastic. I don't know how he does it but the way he rides is like dancing in a night club. Soulcycle definitely packs with enormous amount of energy. It tends to gear towards higher cadence and lower resistance but you make it work for you. I normally ride more slower heavier climbs with Peleton but here in the SoulCycle studio, you spin fast and you do that dance!! It was a lot of fun! Something unexpected was when Dylan brought a candle over for me to make a wish and blow. I thought that was so sweet. I think there is parking behind the building for the riders so check it out. Otherwise, the meter parking can be a pain. read more

My daughter has been doing SoulCycle for a couple of months and while we don't have one in our hometown, we were traveling to Denver to see some friends and do some college visits. She talked me into doing a class with her, and I agreed, but was afraid of the affect of the altitude. With it being my first time, the staff really helped with getting the bike setup properly and my cleats into the pedals. They also gave me a few pointers on what to watch out for with the altitude. They were awesome! The instructor, Dylan, came in and introduced himself and welcomed me to the class. He had a great playlist of current and older songs, and really put together a fantastic class. I HIGHLY recommend SoulCycle Denver!! I'm a bit confused about the negative and mediocre reviews given for SoulCycle Denver. I just moved to Colorado Springs from Los Angeles where I was an avid rider (5 to 7 times a week). I rode with everyone in LA from Angela to Chris Pipkin to Laura Crago to Alba (and much much more). Now, I drive up to Denver every weekend to ride with Zoe and Lexi. Kate Foster and her staff have done an incredible job opening the SoulCycle Denver studio. I have been thoroughly impressed with Kate and team. My old Studio Manager in LA connected me with Kate before the studio even opened. Kate is very kind, attentive, and considerate. My old studio acted like they were curing brain cancer when a stressful situation would arise. Kate's staff handles everything thrown at them with grace and dignity. I watched one staff member chase after a rider across the busy studio on a Saturday morning to help get him a towel. They never act frazzled or huff and puff when the smallest things are asked of them. Kate a team remind me of what my studio was like when it first opened, which means they're building a top notch community. The price may seem high, but it's completely worth it. I used to budget to ride at SoulCycle when I was on a starting salary out of college. Class is good for your mental, spiritual, and physical health. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY!! I love Lexi and Zoe. So so so much already. I haven't had the chance to ride with anyone else due to my schedule and I'm sure they're all amazing. But go ride with Lexi and Zoe for sure! read more

I love going to Soul Cycle. Yes the class is pretty pricey but it's worth it for the experience and the workout you get. Dylan is my favorite trainer. I love love his playlists especially when he plays rock music. I appreciate him calling people out when they bring their phones to class or their Fitbits are going off. Seriously. It's a 45 minute class. You can put it away for a few minutes. It's annoying to most of us who aren't connected to our phones 24/7. The bad is that the studio is set up very poorly. It's too small and it's a complete shit show between classes when you can barely move to get to a locker. There are also only two bathrooms and there's always a line. Bikes are too close together and I usually hit my neighbor at list once during class. Overall though I'm addicted. It's a fun way to get your fitness in. read more

My first class @ the Cherry Creek location blew my mind. Dylan is AWESOME! His high energy brings you energy, positivity, and within the 45 minutes I was able to let my mind go from reality. Let me tell you, FELT SO GOOD. You're able to go at your own pace, as fast/hard as you're mind desires, or slow it down if needed. Can't wait to go back! Note, parking is meter'd. I went to SoulCycle Denver on opening day and had a blast! Lexi's class was so much fun and provided a great overall workout in 45 minutes. I am a relative beginner to spinning and had no trouble following along and mostly keeping on the beat. Lexi provided great instruction with inspiration to keep up. It is also clearly okay to take a break if your body needs one. This is a fun way to burn a lot of calories in a short amount of time! To answer a few questions: The room does get dark but there are no strobe lights. The music is fairly loud and I like it! For those who like quieter music, they provide ear plugs. My husband wore ear plugs and he could still hear the instructor so that worked for him! read more

Love Soulcycle and the instructors are awesome. My only minor complaint is the timing of the weekday evening classes. I've previously taken Soul classes in Chicago and whereas the typical working hours of the city better caters to 530-630 classes, most of my friends and I in Denver work until about 3-4 each day so ANY earlier options (4Pish!) classes would likely drive more interest than the later classes! Instructor was extremely rude and when I told him I needed to have my phone in the room due to family emergency, he proceeded to ask me what specifically happened and then asked another staff to take my phone out of room and put it at front desk until class was done. I usually love soul cycle and was really bummed when it was closed for covid. My friend and I decided to attend a class once it reopened and I was coming from Greeley, Colorado to meet her there. I was going to be on time but then I hit traffic and my phone said I should get there right at 7am. The studio staff are also great! But the design and studio space is just too darn small. I don't know if there is anything to be done about it- but it would be awesome to see SoulCycle move into a space with a little more reception/waiting area space. Went for a class with work friends a few weeks ago and I was blown away!! Melu's energy is ridiculous and she is so upbeat and the perfect motivation to get you through a tough class! There was staff there before the class to help you get set up and clip in which is nice if it's your first time. The class was hard! But in a great way.
