Pepperoni pizza
Hannah N.

My husband and I ordered a pepperoni pizza to be picked up. The vibes inside were cute, but there were a few uncleared tables. We were greeted by the bartender after standing around awkwardly for a few minutes. He took his time but got us our order. Honestly the service was underwhelming, but I REALLY enjoyed the pizza. The dough was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. I also really liked the sauce to cheese ratio and the pepperoni was great. I would def order the pizza to be picked up again.

First night in Hawaii, only place that was open nearby our air bnb. We were greeted in a timely manner and we were definitely advised that it may take up to an hour or more, it was busy and they seemed a bit understaffed. No problem, i was accompanied with a patient bunch. If long wait times is a norm in this restaurant, i recommend anyone whose patience is not their virtue to stray away. Other than that, for me, the wait was well worth it. I really enjoyed the Pizza. We ordered Hawaiian pizza and Pepperoni. It was so good, we came a second time during our stay. Best part was the crust! Crispy exterior, soft interior. Delicious!

Fair warning, they did tell us it would be a long wait as they only had one pizza chef. While we were waiting they actually turned people away. Although the service was a bit sketch. I ordered a mojito and he kept saying a Pinot. We got pizza we did not order and then he seemed a bit annoyed when we still asked for the pizza we did order. All that being said, the pizza was WORTH it. Best pizza we have had in a long time.

Great atmosphere, incredible service and AMAZING pizza! Husband and I shared the Shaka pizza, wings, and the beet salad. Absolutely impressed by each dish! Highly recommend checking this spot out if on north side of the island!

Thick "Neapolitan" pizza with a slice of tomato and minimal cheese.

We ordered wings and pizza. The wings were not done with raw meat next to the bone. Our margarita pizza was supposed to be Neapolitan but the crust was very thick. It was also very bland. When we asked for a side of marinara we were brought a small cup of ice-cold sauce. When we asked the waiter to ask if it could be warmed up he brought it back cold and said the owner/cook said he would get to it when he could. There were three tables with customers in the entire place. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The sunset from across the street

This restaurant is a gem! The service was friendly and the view was excellent. Although the entire island is short staffed this summer, our server was friendly and attentive although she was running! The guy clearing tables was also delivering food and helping out - they were a great team! The pizza was so good. The crust was perfectly cooked - not burned in the bottom or soggy - pizza perfection! I also had the beet salad and oh my gosh it was heavenly! I made sure to order a medium pizza so I would have leftovers and it worked out perfectly. Right across the street is an absolutely gorgeous view of the sunset. It was a little pricey, but worth it!

One star, and that's only because zero isn't an option. We placed our order online at 7:15 PM and were told it would be ready by 8:15 PM. Fair enough. We arrived right on time, only to end up waiting an additional 30 minutes inside the restaurant. On top of that, at least 10 other equally frustrated customers were waiting for pick up as the staff scrambled to keep up with what seemed like a completely mismanaged kitchen. If you're going to offer specific pickup times, maybe start by trying to honor one of them. The place clearly has no system in place to manage online orders or communication in general. Save your time, save your money, and absolutely save your appetite. After that extended wait, we FINALLY got our food and somehow, that part was even worse than the delay. We ordered a house salad with Caesar dressing and got a sad, wilted pile of greens that looked like it had been sitting out since lunch. Honestly, it had the texture of regret. The croutons were the only thing with a pulse. Then came the cheese bread, which was supposed to include marinara sauce. Not only was there no marinara to be found, but we received a sad-looking box of greasy bread, hacked into random pieces like someone had a personal vendetta against presentation. Some pieces were barely separated, some were half-burned, and all of them screamed "we gave up." As for the buffalo wings? What we got were dry, heavily breaded wings with NO buffalo sauce and a sad cup of ranch tossed in like a consolation prize. If I wanted plain fried chicken with an identity crisis, I wouldn't have ordered BUFFALO wings. At that point, it honestly felt like they were just guessing what we ordered and hoping we wouldn't care.

Good service terrible cocktails and very overpriced pizza. The restaurant was messy and dirty! We used to love it here. Too bad.

Ask the Community - Hideaways Pizza Pub

Does anyone know how much they charge for a corkage fee for bringing your own wine?

Hideaways isn't the typical place to bring your own bottle; it's a bit casual for that. Piazza in the Princeville Center would be a better choice for a fine wine meal. If you were to purchase a bottle (or even a couple of drinks) at Hideaways, the…

I feel secure saying there is no better view at any pizza place on earth than here. The entire restaurant stares at the Hanalei Bay. And if that's not enough the service is top shelf. Our drinks, salads and then pizzas were out to the table so quickly I had to look at my watch to figure out the timing. And with the perfect crisp on the pizza crust I can only assume they're running that pizza oven at 550 degrees plus. Bonus, my wife forgot her purse (She swears it wasn't the cocktail) and the owner drove in at 9 AM to meet us (it opens at 3) to check lost and found. It was there and we made our flight. Hit it up and I promise you will be happy you did.

Shirley Temples were a touch light on syrup, but large. The waiter seemingly disappeared for awhile. We were ready to order, but had to wait about 15 minutes until he appeared again at our table. We ordered garlic knots, mozzarella sticks, 2 Caesar salads, 1 Italian salad & BBQ chicken wings to start. Kids loved the garlic knots & mozzarella sticks. The Caesar salads were good w/ delicious dressing. Italian salad was filled with goodies & dressing was tasty. BBQ wings were very good w/ mango BBQ sauce, served w/ ranch dressing. Ordered 3 medium pizzas: cheese, Hawaiian & pesto-rrific. All 3 were well-liked. The pesto was unusual with chicken, bacon, pesto & ranch dressing. It was a good combination of flavors. We had to wait again to pay our check. Once again there was one waiter & several busboys. It is definitely a problem that one waiter covers a large restaurant. What can't be denied is that this is the nicest pizza restaurant possible with fantastic views. As well as upscale decorating. The history of the restaurant is that it was the Bali Hai, a fine dining experience. Then it closed for a number of years when there was a kitchen fire. Not sure why the investors didn't choose to bring back the Bali Hai or another upscale restaurant. While we enjoy Wikipizza, I'd rather have an upscale restaurant.

I ordered the Teriyaki Burger with fries and a Lava Flow, and both really hit the spot. The burger had a great sweet-and-savory balance from the teriyaki glaze, pineapple, slaw, and shoyu mayo. It felt like the perfect vacation drink. Overall, Tiki Iniki is a good pick if you want a casual meal, fun drinks, and a lively tiki-bar vibe. It was served one ingredient on top of the next, room temperature, and tasted like a hot mess. We actually felt sick from it. The amount of syrup this bartender used was crazy. She's either not tasting her drinks, or has just fried her taste buds doing god knows what over the years. Please, for your customer's sake, train the bartenders.

You can sit inside or out and they have the doors open so the wind was going through, which of course made me cold. But they have gluten-free buns. So I was able to get a Burger and side salad because the fries were preseasoned and therefore not gluten-free which seems to be the theme on this island. Smh. The young lady who took our order was very friendly and gluten-free herself so she knew exactly what I was going through and has a list of items that can be gluten-free. I ordered Fresh Island Fish Sandwich at $26.95 Grilled fresh garlic buttered fish served with a lemon caper dill mayonnaise and "the works" on a toasted gluten-free bun. It was huge! Juicy and very flavorful. The House salad was also huge and the house thousand Island dressing that came with it was delicious. My husband ordered Moe's Ultimate Burger at $23.95 with Guacamole, bacon and pepper jack cheese with "the works" and his came with the seasoned fries. It was a huge burger as well and very flavorful. He enjoyed it. We ordered the virgin piña colada's at $7.75ea. They were in a 10-120z or regular size glass and tasted pretty good coming in at a cool third place. There's a bar inside that you can sit with TVs to watch surfing and or games. The decor is paintings from local artist from what I gather that you can also purchase. We'll definitely visit here again.
