Very nice ! Didn't expect such a beautiful, trendy spot on the other side of the front doors. We stopped in the night of the Night Market. We shared a delicious salad Godesss. Our Bespoke pizzas came out quickly and perfectly topped. So nice to have Athletic IPA on the menu for hoppy pairing of pizza without buzz. Fabulous service

We were looking for hamburgers. This was the last place close to our resort. The hamburgers, fries and pizza were awesome and tasty. The service was exceptional. Thank you for making one of our last nights in Kauai memorable. Next time we are out here, this will definitely be one of our go to places.

We stopped in after dinner just for drinks at the bar, and it was such a fun stop. The chili pepper margarita was off the charts delicious with the perfect spicy kick, and the mojitos were tasty too. The atmosphere is excellent, and it's clear that the place has been well-maintained. It feels modern, fresh, and lively without being overly extravagant. We didn't eat this time, but after seeing the food and pizza go by, we'll definitely be back to try it next time.

If you go: make a reservation, don't plan to arrive early and get a drink at the bar on a busy night, keep your fingers crossed that you get Natalie as your server. This past Sunday night was packed at B's and luckily we had a reservation. We arrived about 20 minutes early and the hostess agreed that getting a drink at the bar before our table was ready would be good. At the bar,we waited several minutes to be greeted. We could tell things were busy so we didn't mind. When the bartender finally came our way, I made the mistake(?) of saying that we were just getting a drink before our table was ready. That yielded many rude comments during our time at the bar. We tried to order easy drinks and agreed for our check right away to help her out, but unfortunately she didn't see it that way. I understand things get busy. I understand that customers wanting more than one drink are ideal. But neither is an excuse for rude comments. Once we got to our table, we had a lovely evening. Natalie was the best server we could ask for. We had the calamari, a (not-so) little gem salad, beef cheeks for him and pesto & burrata for me. I would've liked a little spice in my dish, but other than that everything was delicious. Including the sticky toffee bundle cake dessert.

B's Kitchen was a pleasant surprise during our last visit in July. As it was in very close proximity to where we were staying, we ended up here after a day of beach hopping and exploring the island. At first we thought maybe we were just really hungry, but by the end of the meal after having the tiramisu that was made at the table, we concluded the food was really that good. So good that we almost went back the next day but we had a full list of restaurants to visit so we ended up not making it back. That being said, this will be a spot for us to visit for every Kauai trip. Service was friendly and efficient, the restaurant has a really relaxing vibe with lots of open space and cute decor. Pros: Delicious pizza and desserts, friendly staff, cozy setting Cons: N/A

Our first visit with 6 people was disappointing, the service was slow, they lost our order, food okay. I found out from the manager Julie (or Julia) he was a new server, which explained the problems. The hamburger was was overcooked, the caesar salad with chicken is a small serving and nothing special. Our friends were happy with their pizza. On our second visit with 19 people, the service was FANTASTIC, and we ordered pizza, which was pretty good. I recommend the pizza. Others were happy with their various pastas. I had a Mai Tai and it was different than the usual, but really good and not sweet. Worth a try. Over all my impression is your server is key, it is easy to get in and a group of 6 or more you can make a reservation. They are so close to being a good restaurant, I hope they can up their game for everyone. The Princeville location is so convenient, I want this place to be successful, but I understand it is hard to get employees in Kauai. It is worth visiting, but with moderate expectations.

Great drinks and pizza! You gotta try their Macadamia Mai Tai, absolutely delicious! We ordered calamari and the BBQ chicken pizza (it did not disappoint). Great place, would come back.

Just Had the Best Slice of Paradise at Hideaways Pizza Pub!…read more Man, if you're in Princeville and craving pizza that hits like a Hawaiian sunset, Hideaways is your spot. Tucked away in that Pali Ke Kua gem, I just rolled in for what I thought was a quick lunch, but boom--happy hour had just kicked off! We're talking killer deals on those award-winning Neapolitan pies, fresh-off-the-press dough made with that fancy 00 Tipo flour, and local craft beers that taste like they were brewed in the waves. I went for the classic longboard --blistered tomatoes, house-made sauce bursting with island-fresh vibes, and mozzarella that melts like it knows it's on vacation. Paired it with buffalo wings that pack a punch without the regret. The vibe? Chill pub meets beach hideout--think ocean breezes sneaking in while you crush a pint from a Kauai brewery. And the staff? Legends who treat you like ohana, not just another tourist. Hawai'i Magazine called it 'Best of the Best' for a reason--this place is the real deal, hidden but worth every second of the hunt. Parking's a breeze in the community lot too. If you're not there yet, fix that. 5/5 stars, aloha-style. Can't wait for round two. We were seated on the covered patio, overlooking their lawn and the Hanalei River. The food was straightforward and good, but what we liked the most was our server. I sadly don't recall her name but she was a young girl who grew up in Hanalei and clearly has passion for food and for service. She knew the menu and spoke confidently about it, and shared little anecdotes along the way - she was attentive, informative, joyful, and yet not intrusive. A shining service star. The mixed tempura starter was tasty. The salad was a plate of fresh veggies - fresh but basic in presentation and flavor. I personally might skip this next time. We really enjoyed the daily special of soba noodles with yuzu sauce. Bright and citrusy. And the sushi rolls we enjoyed were clean in flavor with a focus on the fresh fish: -Next Best Thing -Hamachi -Avocado roll Another friend said that she orders the sushi rolls to go. And she also told me about their neighboring fish market, if you want to get fish to make at home (we did not have time to check that out). To cap our our meal, we shared a piece of the Homemade Dolphine Ice Cream Pie and it was decadently delicious!

This place has an extensive Italian menu, and a huge drink menu showcasing a vast collection of bourbon. All of which is wildly overpriced, which is to be expected in this context. No complaints there. It's the Italian menu. Well, not really the menu...the cooking is horrific. We ordered a Hawaiian BBQ chicken pizza. A 16" thin crust which should have been a nice treat on an island with no shortage of fresh chickens and pineapple, and with a solid love of BBQ. The waitress was friendly and I was very optimistic. We also ordered some salad. The food came out quickly. First the salad. The lettuce was flimsy. The salad dressing was tasteless. It was basically some limp green lettuce and coarse chopped bell peppers. The salad was disappointing, to say the least - you have to seriously not give a rip to make a salad that boring. Then the main event! The pizza arrived. Complete with that nifty metal rack thing they bring out so that your pizza seems to hover over your table. The table did not have red pepper flakes, extra cheese or even salt and pepper - which I figured was a good sign. It looked OK: small chunks of chicken spread thinly across a 16" pizza, with small pineapple chunks (all of which were strangely uniform in size) and a pretty generous splattering of BBQ sauce mixed into the melted mozzarella. I sliced myself a slab of that pie and got ready to eat! One bite told me everything I needed to know. The uniformly shaped pineapple chunks had that telltale slightly metallic flavor because...IT CAME FROM A CAN! Hawaiian sacrilege! Then the BBQ sauce hit. I couldn't tell if it was from unsold McRib sandwiches, KC Masterpiece, or a jug of plain wrap BBQ SAUCE from the Big Save Market. It wasn't good. Then I reached the crust, which seemed like it came out of one of those Pillsbury tubes you get at the store and smack on your kitchen counter to get it to pop open. Nice for wrapping hot dogs for 7 year olds, not so great for pizza dough. The Hawaiian criminal code should include a felony for serving canned pineapple to unsuspecting pizza eaters. Bobby V's doesn't even have a beautiful Hawaiian vibe going for them. The ambiance is the disastrous hell hole called the Coconut Marketplace - a pointless commercial development where they ripped out real Hawaii and built simulated Hawaii. There are several other restaurants walking distance from this place, and even a McDonald's that's not so that far away; even the egg salad from a dispenser in the men's room at a nearby gas station is probably better than the pizza we ate (and it might make you a genius!) While attempting to eat a piece of their awful pizza - I watched as several plates of very overcooked pasta were served at nearby tables. The pasta was clearly very mushy and it didn't smell very good either. Perhaps they serve good desserts, depending on what's on sale at Costco. The beer was good...but someone else made that. Don't just skip Bobby V's, run! Run! And warn the others. I'm an absolutely hard pass on this place and you should be too. UPDATE: We got home from our trip and put together a Costco pizza kit for a late dinner. It was 10X better than Bobby V's pie, and cost about $3.
