Great pizza and fast delivery perfect for a quick dinner or lunch I won't hesitate to return

This is my favorite pizza place in the area, it is amazing, we also order the chicken fingers with our pizza every time as well.

The owner reached out to us and insisted on making this right. He knew about the problem and addressed it immediately. Happy to say, our second attempt here yielded an entirely different experience. Still love the crust the best but now we're going to finish our dinner completely! Kudos to the owner for being so responsive and for making this right! We'll be back! read more

Used to love this place-- key words: "used to." My family and I used to order from here roughly once per week. I have since moved to college and am currently home on break and decided I had a hide-a-way craving. I ordered the steak tip salad, something I've gotten from there many times before, and unfortunately, I will never be getting that again. The "salad" was made up primarily of onions (I would say there was probably about 1/2 of an onion in there) and peppers. I ordered my steak tips medium-rare as always, and they were completely raw. Not even rare, the inside was completely uncooked, as if they had been dropped in a pan, seared for a few seconds and taken off. Chicken= The boneless chicken basket is the ONLY. and I repeat... THE ONLY item on this barren menu of debauchery that i could even conceive of ordering. Whether it be the hot buffalo or just plain boneless its the only thing worth it and that won't ruin your rectum. Their bone in wings are included in this category of frozen despicable sysco brand sludge. Stay away from the bone in wings and most of the garage from this overpriced trash pit. Food has savery covering of cigarette smoke and sweat which sure is to please the pallet. Delivery takes a long time and is not very PC at all. read more

This place is what a pizza delivery place should be like. They are super quick for delivery. The pizza is absolutely the best I have ever had and by far the best in Uxbridge. When you give them your phone # they automatically have your address and credit card on file so I can order a pizza in a matter of seconds. There are so many local pizza haunts that it is hard to find one that does something unique enough to stand out but hideaway has done it. The food ranges from average to pretty good but where they have moved ahead of the crowd is with their homemade chicken fingers served with their house made honey mustard sauce. They also offer very large and generous appetizer platter that is good for more than a meal for one or enough for two to share. They also make delicious subs including the Italian. They offer delivery for a lot of the surrounding towns but the delivery has a $2 surcharge and usually takes more than an hour, otherwise it is a great place for takeout! read more

Above average pizza. The costs are a little high though. The wait times, even when the place is empty, are pretty long. Easy parking though. I'll stop here if it's convenient but usually prefer to continue down further to Milford or Uxbridge where there's better pizza. read more

This place is awesome! We live in Upton, and we have ordered twice now from the Hide-A-Way! We have ordered food for delivery both times, and have NOTHING bad to say about both experiences. The food quality was awesome, and everything was still nice and hot when it arrived. Tonight I ordered a burger, and will tell everyone I talk to about how delicious it was! So here's the thing. I want to review this place higher than I am. Their food is good. Their cheese pizza is the best you'll get around here and I love that they have a "pan pizza" offering. But here's my qualm... their delivery sucks. Not the food itself, the delivery service/relay. As much as we love it, literally we have never in three years had them get our order 100% correct. Yes, their food, no matter what we've ordered, is delicious. The fish on a Friday or Saturday absolutely rocks. But for some reason, they can never seem to get it exactly right. This is a place that charges for extra sauce, which is cool -- I'll pay. But it's NOT cool when I pay and you don't bring it. I'm not going to pay $3 for extra sauce we never get. While I'm happy with the vast majority of stuff here, I'm also SUPER disappointed in their margarita pizza. A ton of sauce, no sliced tomatoes and ground basil. That's not a margarita, folks. And for $16, I should be getting whole tomato slices and whole pieces of basil. I want to rate you higher, Hideaway, but really... I can't. read more

The food was average here. We ordered a cheese pizza and two subs. The pizza was a bit bland. The Italian sub was a standard sub shop sub with bologna instead of mortadella, and no capacola - meh. The steak and cheese was okay, but didn't have much cheese. If is was possible to fall asleep while eating, it could have happened here. I might go back to try some other things, but when the staples are this mediocre, there isn't much motivation. read more

Excellent Mediterranean food! Simple and delicious. Earthy and flavorful. Just what it should be. My husband thinks the humus is this best he's had in 65 years. I think, the humus, the babaganoush, the falafel, the tabouli are 5 stars. We have ordered pizza from Hide-a-way for years and it WAS a good pizza. The past two times we've ordered the large, the pizza was smaller than usual (significantly) and the pizza was dry and overcooked. I did try to let them know about this, but it just happened again. We love to support local but I don't think we will be giving it another chance anytime soon. I have a feeling cooks and/or management has changed hands and hope they will get a handle on it, so that we can patronize again......but not for a while. I really don't enjoy giving a negative review, but hope the powers that be will see the red flag from regular customers and address it. read more

I've never had a sub par meal from this place. The white pizza is spectacular! The crust was even delicious and garlicky! My friends always rave about the chicken fingers, too. I wasn't in love with the buffalo mozzarella sticks, but everything else is superb. read more

Pizza is not as good as Nikos in my opinion, but the place is really nice. Their takeout process is perfect. Names, addresses and CC are saved by telephone, which they grab with caller id. The pizza is ok. It's convienent, and close to home. The customer service is atrocious. We typically ordered pizza from there about once a week. WHEN my order is correct it's decent(sometime the crust is soggy), when it's not correct we have to send it back. This last time we ordered the manager was rude, and refused to remake our pizza. I've hit hideaway twice in the last two weeks and have been pleasantly surprised. Last time I got take out pizza from Hideaway over 6 months ago honestly it wasnt that great. The last two pizza's we got the ranchero which was honestly awsome. I'm usually a fan of thin NY style pizza but hideaways crust was really good. On our trip the other day we also tried the boneless buffalo fingers. My wifes not a big fan of spice so we ordered the fingers mild and they were in my opinion very mild. Next time I'm going for the hot. The fingers were real peices of chicken more on the nugget size then finger but they were good. My only complaint was they put the celery under the hot chicken so it turned into warm rubbery celery. Not a deal breaker but not great attention to detail. read more

Pizza is in the title... so apparently that is a hint to get that and only that. If you are foolish enough to order a salad, it will be yellow and brown, plus they will likely send the wrong dressing. Oh, if you order chicken on it, expect 2-3 bites worth. The chicken fingers aren't chicken fingers, they're like heavily boneless fried chicken. If you're looking for traditional chicken fingers, don't look here. They are not willing to fix any mistakes either. So ZERO for customer service. When we complained about the salad, they accused us of wanting free food. If I could give this place no stars I would. We picked up our food which we were not only over charged for but the food was absolutely disgusting. The turkey on the club was gray and inedible and the "people's choice award" chicken fingers were dry as a bone. The worst part about this experience is when we called to tell them about it they did nothing to alleviate the situation. The manager actually had the audacity to get on the phone and start yelling, he said "if you come at me with an attitude then I'm obviously gonna come at you the same way." Catching up on my yelp reviews, but omg the Hawaiian pizza is to DIE FOR. The curly fries are amazing!!! The staff is so friendly, and delivery never takes more than 30 minutes. This pizza spot is a diamond in the rough. I have been going here for years with my family. If you want to try something great, for picky eaters, they can cook the chicken fingers in a number of sauces. Also, the honey mustard is delicious. 10 stars is possible!!! read more

Love the Hideaway! Love the gluten-free options...and their salads. I also hear/see that their other food is equally delicious, but I haven't tried it. The food is fairly priced, the portions are huge, and the delivery is usually pretty quick. The only down-side...I ordered from their catering menu for a function back in December....the prices on their website weren't accurate ($35 for a tray of chicken, broccoli alfredo) and after speaking with the owner, he wouldn't honor the prices that he agreed were listed on the website, which I thought was bad customer service! I just checked and see that he has finally updated those. Overall, when I don't feel like cooking, I know I can get GF food from the Hideaway that won't make me sick. read more

Im usually pretty satisfied with this place but tonight I decided to use the online ordering feature since I was already online. I ordered a sm cheese pizza with special instructions light on the sauce. Also put for the delivery instructions park in front of garage and come around to the back. Well the delivery showed up the guy did not follow instructions and started to deliver to my upstairs in the house and didn't park in front of garage where I was sitting. My pizza was not light on the sauce but rather heavy and also was not cooked enough, The crust was very doughy. That will be the first and last time I use the online ordering. read more

The service is great! Late one Friday night, I ordered a gluten free pizza and a large cheese pizza for delivery. The food arrived at my home warm and on time; however, two large cheese pizzas with regular wheat crusts were delivered instead of my original order. We decided to call Hide-a-Way and see if anything could be done to get the gluten free pizza we originally ordered. They then delivery a fresh piping hot gluten free pizza within 20 minutes of my phone call. I was very pleased with how they resolved the issue that night. A few weeks later I ordered another gluten free pizza and large cheese pizza for my family. When the food arrived at the house the delivery boy asked if we had ordered a gluten free pizza and a large cheese pizza explaining that there was a note in the system stating the mistake that was made on our last order. I am glad to see a business is taking note of there transactions. Job well done. read more
