So so good! A standard breakfast item- French Toast- was made sublime by the cinnamon and the homemade four berry compote. French Toast is a personal thing- some people like it with softer brioche, others like hard toast- but this one was just perfect in all regards. The chef hit it out of the park. In fact, now that we think about it, it was the best French Toast we've ever had. Avocado toast also delicious. Huge servings. We sat outside under a large canopy - many tables outside. Cute little hidden gem on our way into Moab. Service was friendly and top notch! We had a larger party (6 and a child). Smoothie was delicious with a good variety of choices. Was left a bit short with the food, salads were a bit spread thin on the plate for the price, even with added protein, for $14 we were left wanting a bit more after finishing. The chicken sandwich had good flavor, however the chicken was gone in 2 bites and left the remainder of the sandwich to enjoy just the toppings. We did not try breakfast which was highly recommended on here, but with the friendly service we would definitely return to check it out! read more

We wanted to get out of the main square and we found this little gem. It has healthy meals and is very tasty. It's a bit hard to see from the main rd but look for a white picket fence. I ate the quinoa salad with that delicious citrus vinaigrette. it satisfied my hunger and the crunch from the pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries made it extra special. read more

My meal was an egg, yes, not two as is customary, some country potatoes, a piece of chicken fried steak and a biscuit, smothered in gravy. My wife had a dish consisting of 3 goodly portions of smoked salmon sitting atop three slices of toast, each one sporting a huge dollop of good avocado. The bread they used is superb and the presentation is a cut above. The service was impeccable. The coffee and tea were both good. My only complaints are that the steak was not as good as many other places. Their biscuit was indeed smothered with gravy, but unfortunately the gravy is blah and tasteless. And only one egg? Again the presentation is wonderful, but they need to up their game with the gravy and the steak. I do recommend this place, however it is a bit more pricey than other similar restaurants in Moab. read more

Wow! We went to Hidden Cuisine for dinner. The food is truly amazing! I had the bobotie. It was perfectly seasoned. My husband had the ribs. He was very happy. I was happy to see my favorite South African wine on the menu. The service was great! The kicker was the creme brûlée. It was THE BEST! We will e back. read more

The front door/building in general clearly used to be something else but omg the food and coffee was fantastic!! On our one week stay we came to have breakfast here and it's the best place to have breakfast. Everything was absolutely fresh and warm. We ordered the crepes, French toast along with the breakfast kick starter. The portions are quite large and filling. Don't let the fact of not seeing any cars parked in front fool you. Truly a "hidden" gem towards the southern end of Moab. Went there 3 times during our stay in Moab. Breakfast is outstanding. You gotta try the crepes! We ate breakfast there twice. Decided to try dinner there and were even more blown away. Chicken Roti was on point. Ribs were outstanding as well. These are made in true traditional South African style. Delicious! The staff is incredible and the owner also spent time talking to us. She's delightful. This is an oasis in what we found to be a very mediocre food scene in Moab. read more

An absolute hidden gem of Moab!! It's just right outside of town so it's perfect if you want to stay away from crowded downtown. The food and service was so delightful I'm not sure how they didn't have the place packed! I hope this review encourages everyone that passes through Moab to stop by. This is a nice restaurant just out of town. I got the crepes with hollandaise sauce on top. They were delicious (a very generous portion too!). My husband got the avocado toast...4 pieces! Stopped on our way from Moab to the Grand Canyon. Wanted a place with fresh ingredients to get some veggies before heading out. This place did not disappoint. Omelets were hearty and filled with plenty of ingredients (not so much cheese, which is appreciated). Potatoes were delicious too. Great service. "A" health rating. Horrible. Start to finish this restaurant was an extreme disapointement. The "locals favorite" biscuit and gravy was simply packet gravy no meat and a hard biscuit. Thank goodness for the salt and pepper on the table, otherwise there would have been no flavor at all! My husband ordered the country fried steak. He took a couple bites for the mere sake of being so hungry, but admitted it was flavorless and the breading didnt taste very good. Now to the point of no return. I ordered the eggs benedict. I am not the type to send food back or ask for something to be taken off the bill...however the ham in the eggs just didnt taste right, almost as if the ham was rancid or spoiled even. For this reason I called our waitress over and told her that I was sorry but I just couldnt eat it and please take it off the bill. She went and talked to the owner who is also the cook . After a minute she came back and said it was fine to be taken off...cool! We were happy and appreciated that! Another minute later the owner (who is the cook, let me remind you) came to the table and asked what was wrong with it. I simply told her that the ham in the dish didnt taste good. It was gross. With that she took an obvious offense and walked away. Our family started to get up and go and the owner came back and was just ignorant. She started mumbling something about what we thought under her breath and laughing with another waitress. The owner was so rude on so many levels. The whole thing was extremely mishandled. And sure enough...upon us walking out another eggs benedict was being sent back to the kitchen. read more

Definitely a hidden gem on the outside of main town Moab. Chef Zinzi does a fantastic job of transporting your tastebuds to the car place of South Africa. Very welcoming and great wine, the food was so good we went to dinner and breakfast the next day. Worth it to drive the extra mile or two down outside of town to find the Hidden Cuisine. From the coffee, juice upon order, wine and dessert (creme brûlée in summer season) everything had a special touch and you could taste and see it came from love. went here for dinner & with 3 other people & must say we were all impressed. 2 of us had the ribs which were fall of the bone delish..a steak sandwich which i didn't try & a creamy pasta dish that was awesome. we also had home made spring rolls that were also very good. this restaurant is not in town but a few min south of town & well worth the trip. read more

Take a short drive for some great food. I've been visiting Moab for about 30 years and know my way around the restaurants. Hidden Cuisine is a real "gem". Fresh, tasty, wonderful food. Just had breakfast there and went for the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were perfect, hollandaise was just as perfect. Nice country potatoes, crispy on the outside and moist and tender interior. My server was Matt. Great service and he's also a wealth of information about Moab. I can't wait to try dinner and the authentic South African dishes. read more
