Went to a play last Sat. night that was a Pilgrim Soul Production of 'The Cripple of Inishmaan' in the Hibernian Centre's nice hall. Had never been to the Centre or its attached Fiddlers Green Pub. Have spent some time in the Aran Islands and loved the pub from the moment we walked in the door. Irish pub in the sense of warm, welcoming and all ages having dinner. Darts, dancing, music - a wonderful event calendar, plus larger music and theater presentations in the hall next door, where you can bring your Smithwicks with you! Our bartender was friendly and helpful. The play was great and the pub was hopping afterward. Prices very good and great atmosphere - not fancy, yet very good. read more
