We were all pampered from the moment we walked into the door. Her program for the weekend was so thoughtfully put together and her mindfulness coaching was extraordinary. In just a short time, I felt such a strong connection to the women at the retreat. We had the opportunity to do some fun, creative exercises as well as stroll around the gorgeous grounds where there is a beautiful Monet-esque pond, peaceful gardens and chickens roaming around. We also experienced an amazing sound healing with crystal bowls and many other instruments. It was such a peaceful, profound weekend that allowed me to take a break from all the chaos, relax and reconnect with myself. I have been doing the minfulness exercises Jess shared with us every day. The food was amazing and the accomodations were wonderful. Jess even brought in a massage therapist for us! I can't say enough about this magical place.

We began planning our wedding over a year and a half ago and when our original coordinator left her position, we thought things might fall through the cracks and that planning might become tricky. Not so! Ashley S. took over as our event manager and was amazing!! Ashley not only answered every email promptly (and believe me, I sent her a lot of emails over the course of 15 months!), but she also took the time to answer every question I had, no matter how insignificant it seemed. During the entire planning process, Ashley helped me to figure out the logistics and all the moving pieces to make our wedding weekend flow seamlessly. When things seemed to get hectic the week before the wedding, Ashley assured me that she had done this many times and that things would work out - and they definitely did! We had our rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding at the Warren Center and that was the BEST decision about the wedding we made - it was so easy and convenient to have all our friends and family check into their rooms (or for the bridal party, the super-fun cabin!) and then be done traveling for the whole weekend! I had a specific vision for our wedding and had lots of little details I wanted incorporated into the design - Ashley not only executed my ideas, but did so in a way that was so much better than anything I had imagined! Everything from the ceremony set up to the centerpieces and the donut "cake" that she somehow managed to create for us - it was ridiculously amazing! The food at both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding itself was delicious and plentiful and we received many compliments on the "unique" menus. Ashley and Judy the catering manager on site made sure my husband and I both had plenty of time to eat as well as plenty of food! I never had an empty glass in my hand! I can't thank them enough for ensuring that we were fed and happy all night! Mechanics Hall is a local gem and a national treasure. During the mid-20th Century, other newer venues overtook it as the favored place to host events. Thus, it was rented out for professional wrestling matches, roller skating, basketball, dance lessons, 4-H club meetings, etc. Neglect took a serious toll on the health of the Hall, but, when the decision was finally forced to tear it down or to revitalize it, the entire city rallied, raising $5 million to restore the Hall. The Hall is rented out for many purposes, and by many organizations. On this particular Saturday evening, Mechanics Hall was in use by Music Worcester (https://www.musicworcester.org), featuring a performance by Chanticleer. Chanticleer was founded in 1978 and is renowned as "an orchestra of voices" for the seamless blend of its twelve male voices ranging from countertenor to bass and its original interpretations of vocal literature, from Renaissance to jazz, to gospel and new music. It was a great performance in a majestic venue.

Yoc is a year around event site with both a heated tavern and cabins. It is over 50 acres half being a wooden area with a stream running through it and because of a previous incarnation as the areas "haunted trail" there is a couple electrical outlets for special effects. It have a warehouse and barn for modules and the warehouse have "bricks" and movable walls to set up a dungeon crawl... If you haven't attended an event there yet I highly recommend you do....
