We chose Creedon and Co. for our wedding services because of their long standing reputation. As being the most important day of our lives, our wedding day, we chose to go with one of the more expensive and reputable companies for our wedding, September 17th, 2016. As our wedding day approached and we finalized the last of the details, Creedon and Co. was the least of our worries - we trusted them and knew they'd come through. Boy were we wrong. Our event sales coordinator Jackie scheduled our tent to be delivered on Thursday, September 15th, 2 days before our wedding. Creedon pulled a no-show on Thursday while my family and I waited around in our backyard for the delivery so we could all help set up (tables, chairs, decorations, etc.) At 4:30 on Thursday, Jackie emailed us to tell us the tent was on it's way to our house. When 5:30 PM rolled around, I called Creedon to speak with Jackie, but she had already left the office. We were told that Creedon often over-books themselves, and that the tent would not arrive until Friday morning. To our disbelief, Creedon did show up at 8:00 AM on Friday, but they began to set up THE WRONG TENT. At 3:30 PM on Friday, we finally had the correct tent set up. But this completely ruined our rehearsal dinner plans and made Friday very stressful. Also, the late tent arrival resulted in us not having the time to make sure Creedon even delivered all of the correct items in our contract (chafer dishes, water glasses, champagne glasses). We were toasting our champagne in plastic solo cups at our wedding! On top of everything, our wedding lights in the tent shut off, leaving our guests in the dark at our reception. My husband was running around looking for wire nuts to rewire Creedon's lights while I ate my dinner alone in my wedding dress. After our wedding, we tried to set up a meeting with Creedon to discuss our discrepancies, but they seemed too busy to meet with us. With our check to Creedon already deposited, they already got what they wanted from us. They did however compensate us for some of the items that were not delivered, but we never received any apology. Other than Creedon, our backyard 200+ guest wedding was totally awesome. So, if you are thinking of hiring this company for the most important day of your life, please know that they over-book themselves and don't really care about customer service or satisfaction. My only complaint is that the chairs and dance floor were super dirty upon arrival. We started using Creedons last year for our first client event. We got them through a referral who had a lot of success with them as well. I am so happy that we called them because they were the best and only caterers we use now. The employees were knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and very friendly. Going over our order was always easy and Jackie was always super helpful through the process. They are able to set things up on their own without having to distract me while I'm preparing other things for the event. On top of the food, I love that they can also bring waters & soda, table cloths and tables, and any other things you might need for an event. The food was really really good, and they always bring enough staff to have a few people passing around appetizers at the same time. They were great about knowing how to get my attention if they needed something and knowing when to wait for the right time which can be key at events! On top of always being totally on their game, they are always on time or early, and unfortunately our events sometimes go over the time that we expect them to end (as you can't really kick people out who are still having a good time!) and every time they are patient and never rush people which is hard to find as many companies leave the moment an event is scheduled to finish. And I can always get ahold of them within 24 hours! Again, Jackie is outstanding and I highly recommend her and Creedons for any event. Creedon and Co catered our 75-person wedding reception (grilled lunch buffet) in Petersham, Mass., this fall. We could not have been happier with the results. Throughout the planning process, Danielle (our main contact) and all the other Creedon folks were SO gracious and helpful. They did not balk at a single question or request. One of the owners of the company actually called in person to help with a venue detail we had to work out with our town - definitely beyond the call of duty and much appreciated. On the day of the wedding, the small crew that set up and ran our reception catering was calm, hard-working, helpful, and kind. We had rented chairs, tables, place settings, and linens, and had really specific instructions about where things should go, etc. They did it all perfectly. Set-up and clean-up were efficient, low-stress for us, and invisible to our guests. Speaking of our guests: the thumbs-up on the delicious food was unanimous... and it's no small feat to please a mix of young and old folks, including city dwellers accustomed to eating in Boston and New York. Highest marks went to the grilled chicken, grilled veggie skewers, cornbread, and quinoa salad. The make-your-own sundae bar was also a big hit. Perhaps best of all, the cost was very reasonable. The other places we looked for wedding food were light-years out of our budget range, and I admit we were a little worried about what we'd get for so much less money. They started out fabulous, but the wedding planner we had left. And then when we got a new one, it was like starting over, our information had not been passed on. Then came the wedding day.. there was no champagne other than for the toast, who knew you had to specify that you needed champagne served at a wedding?! Next was the issue that our bar ran out of most beers and closed early (when we specified that we were big drinkers). And the icing on the cake was that the more people we talked to, the more we heard how people would get a drink and take a sip, walk away for a sec to dance and their nearly full drink would be gone when they came back. read more

Creedon and Co catered our daughters wedding reception at the Asa Waters house mansion and we were thrilled with the results. The professional and secure placement of the 40x60 tent with sides adjacent to the mansion saw a storm front go through prior to the reception. That didn't bother it despite high gusts due to the skills of the tent crew. Creedon has an on site commercial kitchen and a food catering division as well so after touring the facilities we figured we'd do all our business with them and pay just one company. From the prime rib to the side dishes all of our guests were raving about the delicious quality of the food prepared as though we were in a first rate restaurant. The staff was very accomodating! Creedon and Co provided the food for our daughter's wedding shower. We had decided on the barbecue. We went back and forth with them several times as we added, deleted, and changed things up to accommodate different needs. They were always open and agreeable and quick to respond to our requests. On the day of the event three lovely young people rolled into the yard and with grace and subtlety, they set the tables, prepared the buffet and served with a smile. Our guests loved the food, and by the end of the party there was hardly anything left! What was left, they neatly wrapped up for us. They cleaned up, took the trash, and were gone. What a gem of a caterer! We hired Creedon for a June 17, 2017 celebration at the Asa Waters Mansion in Millbury. We were looking for a one stop caterer that could handle most aspects of our party from a beautiful tent, tables & chairs, to linens & china, and of course yummy food. Our event coordinator was Jackie and she spent as much time with us as we needed. Questions and concerns were always addressed promptly. Initially, we were a bit stuck on a fish selection and she suggested a meeting with the chef. Chef Kendra had some wonderful menu suggestions that resulted in a delicious meal that everyone enjoyed! She did her magic on the grill, onsite, with chicken, prime rib, salmon and summer vegetables -- so, so good. On event day, Jackie was on site with her team ( Kendra, Brandon, Cadrin and Marie) and said to me "don't worry about anything, we will handle it, just enjoy your day." And that's exactly what happened! The Creedon team certainly delivered their A game. If you are looking for a caterer for your wedding or other event, Creedon & Co can do it. We had our wedding tasting with them and the food we had was great (perfectly grilled salmon, chicken and steak!). They have a huge facility in Worcester that houses their kitchen and all their supplies, so they are well experienced and capable of handling whatever event you throw at them. There is no doubt they could handle our 150 person wedding - piece of cake! The best part about them, though, is their people. We met with John and Julie. Yes, they are pros at what they do - that was clear. What impressed us the most about them was there down-to-earth and fun nature. It felt like we were friends by the time we left our appointment. I don't know if they even do high end stuff, as all the functions that I have been to were paper plate affairs. The tent is sturdy and functional, but not fancy. I used this company for a small wedding of about 35-40 guests. The food was ok for the price and I felt it was a good experience by the end of the reception. I did experience pushiness from the servers, and was told many stories by my guests which make me want to NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I was told when they were setting up they were pushy, and demanding. I had given my buddy instructions to set stuff up, and he said they were nothing but rude while he tried setting up his bit, and my aunt said the same. I had rented a musical device from them, which later I found out they wouldn't let anyone touch until our first dance! But when I was shown the device in their office they showed me that any song of choice could be input and played next, and that there would be an attendant at the machine, which there wasn't. They SERIOUSLY SCREWED UP the Mother & Son song, and by that point my husband was already more than unhappy with them, because they had already angered him during the set up process. Ya I went out of order a bit, but as a catering company they should've catered to my needs as the client. MULTIPLE of my guests, who weren't even at the same table, told me similar horror stories - "too pushy", "After telling the girl twice I wasn't done with my plate, I returned from getting a drink and my plate was gone. Guess I was done eating." the bartender didn't even know how to make a long island iced tea... With pre-mixed alcohol, all she had to do was add sour and coke! They didn't consult me about the food left overs, or desert, or the cake. I know there was left over food because its captured in the background of the photos. I emailed them letting them know I wouldn't be using them again, and then I get a phone call contesting the claims I made in the email. "oh there was no food left" (I have photos)..."I can't serve food that was left out sitting so long after" (ya side note, whole ceremony and reception was 4 hours ... Really) "that's not how are company is at all, we're very friendly". (thanks for telling me after the fact. I PAID FOR IT. IT WAS MY WEDDING CAKE!!!!!!! And they threw it out. Actually I was let in on a bit of a secret, that the wedding left overs are usually given to the set up crew, don't believe me, I have 20 witnesses that heard the same thing I did, OUT OF A CATERERS MOUTH. "and we fired the attendant". I can't believe they told me that, I'm not a sadist, and that wasn't the outcome I wanted, I was just giving them honest feedback. And to tell you the truth, that was the quickest response I had ever received from them. I'm not even gonna get started on the emails about the music :-/ . All in all my husband and guests never plan to use them again. I feel as though it could have gone differently if there was more communication involved. They didn't even check out the venue site... Use them if you will, just be VERY VERY SPECIFIC and call, don't email. It used to be DAYS between emails. You may think I'm over embellishing, or that it couldn't have been that bad. I was just more so concerned with my guests feedback "it didn't take away from the wedding itself, but their service definitely needs some work". read more
