The building itself is incredibly beautiful-a true hidden gem of Worcester. Throughout the wedding and after, we received so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was and how great the service was. Between their extensive list of recommended vendors to their attention to detail-I knew the day would be amazing! They created a stress free environment which made the day feel so easy. I am so happy we chose Tuckerman Hall, we could not have imagined our wedding anywhere else.

Tower Hill is a destination for all lovers of greenery and flowers…read more Over the years, I have visited Tower Hill and recently became a member this year to start to come more often On a recent visit, June and I took advantage of their plant sale which was most affordable on a Saturday. After buying some plants from the kind vendor. We explore the fairy garden which had various installations with fairy houses which must be beautiful at night too. We walked over to the shade garden which was a quiet place to visit on a busy Saturday. **we had visited two weeks before and there was some water main break and could not enter. They had a staff at the entrance who told us immediately. I see the low star rating which may be because of people expectations not met but this is a beautiful place and worth a visit

We had a great time in Millbury and this historic house was a wonderful site to visit. Its history and upkeep would alone be something to write home about, but the grounds are lovely - particularly about 200 feet behind the home, where it is, as Frost said, "lovely, dark and deep" - and this place has some history! Many famous American orators of the 19th century came through the Asa Waters Mansion including Thoreau, Emerson and Gough. It is a must-visit location in Millbury. They also have a really nice, little gift shop!

Visitors are expected to dress for dinner-- the code has been relaxed a bit, ties are no longer required but collared shirts are. No jeans or sneakers either. What a great experience. Walking in you're greeted by a wide lobby with a small bar to the right and a waiting area complete with massive fireplace to your left. As we walked in and sat next to the fire to warm up a waiter was quickly behind us taking our drink orders. After a few minutes of conversation and a chance to look at a menu we were then escorted into one of the many dining rooms. Old world charm for sure, but despite this there was nothing stuffy about the visit. The staff was attentive and friendly and the food was outstanding, starting with a stuffed mushroom welcoming from the chef followed by appetizers and entrees which were world class. A relaxing meal in a great environment with sincere and friendly service all equate to a fantastic dining experience. If only snobs eat here, then I am happy to be a snob.

Outdoor dining at the Chocksett Inn !!!!…read more We enjoy the food at the Chocksett Inn and they recently added outdoor dining on their new deck !!! Since the summer goes by so quickly in New England, we were thrilled to be able to sit outside and enjoy dinner. I love the Salmon, always cooked to perfection. Their bread is always delicious and hot out of the oven. The dinner entrees include soup or salad, which is becoming a rarity in restaurants. The waitstaff is attentive and the restaurant is not usually crowded. Best kept secret around !!!

The bathroom had no racks for drying towels. The coffee that was available in the morning in the lobby cost $2.
