I really love the setup here--the area is picturesque, and the atmosphere is great. They have animals on-site, which I didn't get to see this time, but I'll make a point to check out on my next visit. There's also a pizza place that seems affiliated (or maybe they just rent the space). Either way, it was delicious. The staff was your typical group of teenagers who look mildly annoyed, but the food hit the spot. The beer was great, and the brewery staff was friendly and attentive. We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here out back under one of the tents I was a little bummed they didn't have a fire pit going (October), but were informed they don't usually do so on Thursday nights. We ordered pizza from Pup's pizza and BBQ for BT's Smokehouse down the road, and got all our drinks from the brewery. It was a very nice relaxed rehearsal dinner, exactly what we were looking for! read more

We made the trek out to Oakholm for their annual Summerfest. The weather put a damper on some of the festivities though we still had an awesome time checking out the brewery. Inside the brewery itself there's a large seating area with large walk-up bar. Also on the side there's a cool upstairs spot with a few tables that overlook the bar and the area where all the brewing occurs. Exposed wood is everywhere which gives the place a nice rustic, cozy feel. Outside they have an expansive yard with a large beer garden. They have a bunch of life-size games including Jenga, connect-four, and corn hole. They also have a swing set and playground area. If you have little ones there's plenty here to keep them entertained. The beer itself is pretty solid. I was craving something lighter so went with their Pilsner and lager which were both pretty good. I heard great things about their IPAs. Though will have to try it next time. Like many breweries they have a lot of events going on, so give their social media follow to see what food trucks are entertainment might be lined up for the day. Overall, this was a pretty cool spot. Definitely worth the drive. We will for sure be back to visit. read more

We loved this place!! Definitely an A+ for setting!!! Plenty of parking, lots of places to sit, outside games to play, animals and they have seltzer's!!! Yay! My partner was happy with the beer selections, I was happy for seltzer. We ordered and got our drinks at the outside beer wagon and found a table. They had live music while we sipped our drinks. We stopped to visit the animals before we left and just had an excellent experience here. They did have a food truck available for food. We would definitely visit again! read more

Very nice farm style brewery. The beer is solid and consistent. They have a great outdoor space with cornhole and often have live music out there. We haven't tried the food, they have sort of a built in food truck with pizzas, looks good. Definitely worth a visit! read more

Ambience is on point. Love that they have coolers of their beers to go. Bartenders know their stuff too!

Went here for a trivia night with a friend of mine. I had a great time at trivia, but the placed was packed to the gills. The beer selection was excellent and I liked all the different ones I had from the menu. I docked one star because there was only one bathroom. I hope this gets rectified as the brewery gains experience and enhances their operations. read more

Very Solid beer: everything was a 4-4.5/5 and there's about 20 to choose from. In fall they had a pumpkin one with a sugared rim - and it was actually good! Favorites are Slate Roof NEIPA, Crooked Post IPA, and two silo DIPA. Food: 1-2 trucks by parking lot. One does some very good wood fired pizza (ready quickly!), the other has the best chicken sandwich I know of. Just fantastic. Inside: small, good looking space of seating, bathrooms, bar and retail. Outside: goats and sheep (bring quarters if you want to feed them), fire pit, picnic tables, swing set for kids, outside bar. I think there might be disc golf across the street. Staff: all the staff we've met over 10 visits have been great. Friendly and knowledgeable. Easy to see why this is my favorite brewery. Only downside is that it's not closer to Boston. read more

Went here 10/10/22 for the Oktoberfest event. Lots of people, food trucks, beer garden. Beer was great and outdoor spaces were amazing...seems like a great place to visit. Only 2 downsides I can think of...for this particular event, with so many people, there were long lines for bathrooms/portos. Also I get annoyed when paying that the tip options are very limited. read more

Love their milk stout! In the colder months they line the rim with chocolate syrup - who new stout could go so well with chocolate!?! Really great beer - good quality. One of the best craft beer selections I've tasted. I prefer them over some of the other more well know labels. Worth the ride. The Pup's wood fire pizza stand is a nice accompaniment with the beer. read more

Oakholm Brewing is less than two miles from Lake and boatable via North Pond. Good job! Tasting room is in renovated barn overlooking new brewing area. Family owned. Pole 63 is to be released next week. Tim Toomey and Betsy McCooe liked the White Cow Wheat (bought growler to go) as did I and Lake Day IPA was a nice low abv (bought cans for house) Twin Silos and Cows Over the Moon were bought in cans for the house. Crooked Post Slate and Split Rail were fresh and hazy. Mom treated us to delish lobster rolls. Band was nice addition as were the big crowds. Estate home by pond had two weddings. read more

Amazing and relaxing brewery tucked away in West Brookfield, MA. Right by the lake and a beautiful farm, owned by the brewery. The beer was incredible- crisp, fresh and drinkable. They did an amazing job designing the tap room and beer garden as well. I did not want to leave. The staff was super friendly and it was a 5 star experience for sure. I will be back!!! read more

It was a beautiful sunny Saturday and we decided to take a trip up to Mass and visit with some family. This was our first time here. The brewery is located in a rural residential area. You might even see horses and buggies go by. I think this used to be a farm or orchard at one time. Saw some apple trees and blueberry bushes on the property and they even have houses you can rent when you have functions there. They offer several beer options and some alcoholic seltzers. You can get the beers in cans to go but they don't bottle the seltzers as of yet. They have a nice indoor area and a really nice beer garden area. And during the winter they have events and you sled down their hill. I do suggest you wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to do a little walking if you plan on enjoying the outside areas. And using stair to get down to the beer garden area. They also have farm animals, pigs, sheep and goats. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos cuz I was so busy chatting and talking with family that I hadn't seen in quite a while. I'll make sure to take pictures next time I'm up there. Yes 5 stars, is hard to give this for sure and it takes a lot to get there. This place is a gem in this little New England town. They are working hard to give us beer drinkers what we want but they are and doing it well. If you find yourself in the area check them out. Very nice area, had good music and lots of room outdoors. Very pleasant employees and some farm animals was a pleasant surprise! goats and a couple of pigs. It came to my attention and others that one of the pigs was very friendly and allowed us to pet him. Also noticed that she was extremely thin. You could feel her back bone. Her side teeth were overgrown where she was grinding and clicking them and it seemed like her hooves needed to be cut. I know this is a brewery but these animals also are there. Please let us know why she is in this condition. That's the reason for the 3 stars. read more

Great setting, good selection of beers from lagers to IPA', porter and stout. Matt Mackin introduced himself cause we share a last name. Multiple food trucks and live music. Overall the quality of the beer is good and the overall atmosphere is comfortable and casual. When we visited there was a food truck with brick oven pizza that was also good. We met the owner and he seemed friendly enough but some of the staff were inattentive and rude. The brewery was slow when we visited but we were made to feel like an inconvenient business transaction rather than a valued customer. read more
