This is a quaint little indoor space with an outdoor firepit area and a full disc gold course. Beers are pretty good. Prices are reasonable. Food trucks abound.

We made the trek out to Oakholm for their annual Summerfest. The weather put a damper on some of the festivities though we still had an awesome time checking out the brewery. Inside the brewery itself there's a large seating area with large walk-up bar. Also on the side there's a cool upstairs spot with a few tables that overlook the bar and the area where all the brewing occurs. Exposed wood is everywhere which gives the place a nice rustic, cozy feel. Outside they have an expansive yard with a large beer garden. They have a bunch of life-size games including Jenga, connect-four, and corn hole. They also have a swing set and playground area. If you have little ones there's plenty here to keep them entertained. The beer itself is pretty solid. I was craving something lighter so went with their Pilsner and lager which were both pretty good. I heard great things about their IPAs. Though will have to try it next time. Like many breweries they have a lot of events going on, so give their social media follow to see what food trucks are entertainment might be lined up for the day. Overall, this was a pretty cool spot. Definitely worth the drive. We will for sure be back to visit.

We loved this place!! Definitely an A+ for setting!!! Plenty of parking, lots of places to sit, outside games to play, animals and they have seltzer's!!! Yay! My partner was happy with the beer selections, I was happy for seltzer. We ordered and got our drinks at the outside beer wagon and found a table. They had live music while we sipped our drinks. We stopped to visit the animals before we left and just had an excellent experience here. They did have a food truck available for food. We would definitely visit again!

A little off the beaten path and hosted on a working farm, Oakholm is worth a little excursion on a Saturday! Craft Brewing at its Mass best!

Went here 10/10/22 for the Oktoberfest event. Lots of people, food trucks, beer garden. Beer was great and outdoor spaces were amazing...seems like a great place to visit. Only 2 downsides I can think of...for this particular event, with so many people, there were long lines for bathrooms/portos. Also I get annoyed when paying that the tip options are very limited.

We ordered pizza from Pup's pizza and BBQ for BT's Smokehouse down the road, and got all our drinks from the brewery.

After enjoying hiking in the area we came here and enjoyed the pulled pork poutine, wiener…read moreschnitzel and beers! While their IPA was pretty average, the strawberry rhubarb brew was great! The schnitzel was nicely prepared with a side salad that was tasty and a decent mustard. The poutine fries were nicely done and fresh, but IMO, there was a bit too much gravy and not enough cheese curds on the poutine. That didn't stop us from devouring the whole thing though, it definitely was not bad. Ambience is chill with music playing at a lower volume. Mostly couples and small, chill groups in the spot. There was one small group with a baby but the baby was not overly loud or disruptive. Outdoor seating is available but we opted to be inside with the AC. Bartender seemed to be the only employee working both the tables and the bar and a little overwhelmed, so service was a bit slow. Would definitely stop back here and highly recommend the strawberry rhubarb brew! Clean, gender neutral restrooms.

Went here on a whim to attend the book fair hosted by a local bookstore here in their event space…read more I cant lie this book fair was pretty lackluster and overpriced, so we decided to grab food and drinks since we were already there anyways. The brewery was very busy and the line was long, with slower wait times, but the food and drinks were worth it. The buffalo chicken tenders were great quality, not overly spicy or salty, and came with a chunky, house-made blue cheese dressing. The bacon cheesy fries were a standout. The beer cheese was perfectly smooth and flavorful, topped with crumbled bacon and thinly sliced purple onion, which was surprisingly really good. I also tried the pomegranate Down East cider, a flavor I hadn't seen anywhere else, and it was my favorite I've had so far. Atmosphere was decent but on the smaller side. Overall a good experience, though not somewhere I'd go out of my way to return to

Several months ago, I was following my GPS to visit someone when this place caught my eye…read more It was so tiny. So hidden away. I mean, who the hell has even heard of Gilbertville? I made a mental note to come back another day, when I had time to explore the area. Spoiler alert: There's not much there to explore in Gilbertville. Although, if you're like me and willing to drive 10 miles out of your way to save ten cents a gallon on gas, they do have the cheapest gas around. But I digress... Yesterday I pulled into their almost non-existent parking lot and wondered where people park when they are full. I was there at 3pm, so it was empty aside from myself, two other people, and a dog. The space was quirky and eclectic, with random art on the walls, old pieces from antique shops, and a bar lined with metal seats. They also had a few tables. It was all dark old wood, and I imagine it would be an awesome spot to hit on a cold winter's day. I settled myself into a seat at the bar. Just a warning: those seats must have the AC blowing directly onto the metal, because my poor vagina felt like it went through a cold plunge. I was wearing shorts, but the freezing cold metal felt like it penetrated straight into my cervix. If you opt for bar seating while wearing shorts, pack a sweater for your genitals. Icy nether regions aside, this place was a perfect little hideaway to hang for a bit and enjoy some well-crafted beers. They don't serve meals, but they do have snacks you can purchase if you need some sustenance. Their white stout was PHENOMENAL, one of the best beers I've had in a while. It was creamy, sweet, and SO easy to drink. It gave me a cream soda vibe, but with a 7% bite. Solo factor: 7/10. The place was pretty empty when I went, so it felt very comfortable to be there by myself. But it's tiny, so I don't know if it would have that same vibe once it's packed. The bartender was awesome, and very attentive. The seating isn't necessarily ideal for someone who wants to spend hours hanging out there, but it was fine for the time I was there...and there were also other options for places to sit. Also, I saw that they have an outdoor area where you can sit, which I missed on the way in. And I would be remiss to not mention that their bathroom was freakishly clean for a brewery bathroom. I've been to two places over the past few weeks where I walked into the bathroom, saw what was waiting for me, and thought "Fuck it, I'd rather get a kidney stone." Yuck.

Love this place. Staff is great, music is sweet, and the beer is awesome. A few beers they always…read morehave and something different from time to time.
