Highly recommend awesome place to enjoy a nice beer and unwind from the evils of corporate America

Post and Beam Brewery is located in downtown Peterborough. The Brewery is located in one of the older buildings. You have to park on the street and walk up to the building, which isn't a problem because it's so beautiful in the downtown area. They day we visited they had a food truck outside. The inside in very nice. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy with limited seating. My husband and I both ordered a beer. They also serve a few appetizers so we ordered buffalo chicken dip with chips. It was a small serving, but went good with the beers we had. My husband and I enjoyed our beers and the setting. I perfect spot for a date or grabbing a beer with friends.

I love this brewery, the bar was fun to sit at and the bartenders were friendly! I also like the rustic atmosphere, it used to be a school and a vfw I believe. Excellent beer and they have yummy hot dips like buffalo chicken and artichoke. The only thing that sucks is when your done at the bar you have to go get in line to pay and it's the same line everyone else uses to order their beer.

This is by far my favorite brewery. Its small in space and large in taste. They make a variety of different styles (not just 10 different hazy ipas) I never make it to trivia nights being an hour away, but i wish they still had the trivia pursuit decks around.

This is becoming a thing, me writing about breweries! We have been waiting since June for Post and Beam Brewery to open its doors and they have, on July 28, 2018. We visited the brewery about three weeks later, in time for them to get out all of the opening glitches that most start up businesses face. Well the wait was well worth it. We were surprised to find a very well rounded craft beer selection! So happy that they were not focused on IPA's!!! The selections were as follows (the ones with the asterisks we did try): Butcher Holler: Grisette * Boxcar: Saison * Sunshine & Sorrow: Pilsner * MoJo Nixon: NEIPA (was out of this) Bandit Hat: Dry Stout * All the beers were excellent but Boxcar won the prize with my girlfriend and I. Outstanding! All the other beers we tasted were also fabulous! Listen, they are up and coming.....I stress UP! The atmosphere is great, Old G.A.R. Hall with post and Beam construction....brewing takes place in the basement....Beings that it is a new facility, it shines inside (very clean).....So, if I had to give Post and Beam Brewing final ratings, it would be like this..... Facility: 5 stars Beer that was offered: 5 stars Staff: 5 stars Forgive me, I didn't even mention the staff above. They were friendly and very knowledgeable... Keep up the great work, your going places......

Located in the upstairs of a very cool, historic building. The inside is beautiful. The staff were very friendly. They have snacks available for purchase. When I visited, they only had about 3 beers on tap, they were out of the others. I had their Berliner Weisse. It was pretty thin and not overly fruity but good enough. They had an outdoor patio with about 6 or so tables to enjoy the weather and the view. If you're in Peterborough, why not stop by for a beer?

So glad this place opened in Peterborough! Its making good use of a beautiful, historical building and its different from anything else in town. Ambience is great, beautiful lighting, although I would put more tables in. We didnt try the food (next time!) But all the beers were delicious and the service was great. They also have nice merchandise and the tables have Trivial pursuit questions. Will come back!

No. Dogs are not allowed in the taproom, nor on the outside patio. Not at all dog friendly.

'Our Town' NEIPA was top notch, I just wish they canned it/put it in growlers so I could take it home :

Very refreshing. We added a bright and brightly-flavored roasted beet salad with, crumbled goat cheese, glazed pecans & slices of pickled red onions. And they kindly allowed us to order a simple hot grilled cheese & fries off of the kids' menu, which we shared around as a little bar snack to tide us over. We enjoyed the view to the west of stately Monadnock Mountain. They have a golf course and mini-golf, too, but this time we were just for the beer. In addition to the hand-written tap list above the bar, they keep an online list up-to-date, too. This was a pleasant recovery from our strenuous day. We visited on a Saturday, and we'll make sure to get back here during their weekday 4-6pm happy hour!

I had a glass of their very popular Granite Trail NEIPA and followed it with a flight of six samples: Granite Trail, their Damn Sure 2XIPA, Wokingmen's Porter, their Hopslinger IPA, the Hugs From, NEIPA, and their Miles and Miles. All were awesome although both the Granite Trail and their Damn Sure were very tops. Service was superb. Friendly, fast, and efficient. And the outside pizza oven got us two awesome pizzas. Wonderful evening.
