The record reflects that this brewery has been open for only 3 weeks. We didn't have high expectations because new breweries pop up everywhere, but let the verdict show I rated 3 of 4 beers I sampled a 4+ on UnTapped. The two head brewers were working hard. They were friendly and eager to engage with the courtroom patrons. The Worcester Mayor was even spotted on site!l (busted!) We approached the bench (bar) and ordered a flight to sample their 4 beers. There are currently 3 IPAs and a red ale. I don't typically enjoy red ales, but "Strict Scrutiny" was actually the favorite! I don't have any objection at this time. The atmosphere is the opposite of the cold scary courtroom, no judge is demanding silence. Acoustics are a little echoey, but it's packed so that is a good thing. Please remain standing, I am still under oath. The courthouse theme is reflected on the wall "you've been served" as well as on the beer tanks which are named after female Supreme Court justices! Poll the jury, and don't let the free pretzels sway your decision. We will definitely be back if I make bail. I have no further questions. I rest my case.

My husband picked a Scotch Ale and I picked the Kolch, we ordered at the bar and sat at a high top. Our beers were very good. We enjoyed the atmosphere of this brewery, it's in the basement of an old mill so it has beautiful stone walls. It was quiet and intimate while we enjoyed our brews. We will definitely stop in again!!!

Unfortunately, we have basically stopped going. With young kids, who are well behaved but active, most of the staff at CR complains about the kids and reprimands them if they're not sitting still the entire time. They advertise as "family friendly" but they're quite the opposite. It's frustrating to go to CR with a group only to feel unwelcome because our kids are having fun. They allow dogs to jump up and put their feet on the bar and lick it, and I even once saw a dog pee on the floor, but they roll their eyes when kids walk in? We are frequent brewery patrons with large groups, and we have never been made to feel unwelcome like we do at clover road, so we'll continue to take our business elsewhere.

The aroma was grasping and fresh. Overall, a wonderful brewery in the area. The price is to be expected from a local brewery. It was worth it. The ambiance was pleasant. The waitress was prompt. Waitress/server/cashier. The inside was clean and they have good parking. Overall, i would come back. I would even be interested in asking if i can do poetry readings from my own books at one of their open mic nights. And maybe offer book singings there as well. Definitely check them out if you are in western mass and can not find fresh, tasty brews. We bought three year old beer recently from a convenience store in the area. The drinks are awesome, and the place is a hub for the local scene.. artists, themed body salves, the owners make the space available for get togethers, music, and vibe. There's a sewing/stitch circle that meets here, live music or DJ. Clean, tastefully lit, spacious.. not a bad place to chill for a few drinks. The cocktails are inventive, anywhere from tropical to sugary to serious, depending on the most recent spirits and seasons. There's a big window right into the family-run distillery itself, where the whole show is on-site, from prep with straight ingredients, to fermentation to distilling and bottling. It's legit and down to earth -- the bottle prices are not pretentious either. Solid gin blend, not too floral or perfumed, good juniper & botanical backbone, makes a delightful G&T.
