just wanted to thank you and say what a huge hit the slip and slide was this weekend. I've had…read moreseveral activities at children's parties before and nothing received the consistent use (by both kids and adults!) as this did. I had several people ask where it was from, so I'm sure it'll bring you additional renters :-) Additionally your staff that setup the slide were great, too. Thank you again, and we will be future repeat customers for sure.

Was told when this booked that the bouncy house would be picked up the next day which was a Sunday , perfect because I don't want that behemoth sitting on my lawn for longer than 24 hours ! So when I didn't hear from them on Sunday I called and they told me it would be first thing Monday....ok ...not really acceptable but I understand. Now they are 2.5 miles away so when I called at 9:00 am Monday and the owner said they are on the way I say great . I did a couple of errands and came home around 10:15 to find their equipment still on my lawn . I called back and talked to the same "rude " so called 40 year in business owner to ask why it wasn't picked up yet and he went off on a tangent about this being the busiest weekend and 200 other customers and no help , and then went on and asked me if I was one of "those guys " who sat around and watched my lawn all day ! WTF ? Who does this guy think he is ? So .....I had to do a face to face with this arrogant so called business owner . Sure enough....just what I thought....jumped up in my face and proceeded to tell me I'ma "Kenny" .....ya know a male "Karen"....not once but at least five times ! He is a lucky man.... I would not recommend doing business with this man unless you get a written contract for drop off and pick up times . Very unprofessional.

Whitewater rafting trip. The staff was great! They were all very friendly and helpful. Zoar Outdoor…read moreis located on route 2 in Western MA directly across the street from the Deerfield River. Very beautiful area. After a brief safety video and briefing, we were given our rafting kit, loaded on buses, and brought up river to the raft slip, this was about a 30 minute trip north west. The raft trip ended across the street from where we started. An easy exit, we got out of the boat, returned our kit, and walked across the road to watch the video, and purchase souvenir photographs. We had an excellent day on the river during our 10 mile trip. My 14 year old son and I did the Zoar Gap trip which took most of the day with an hour break for lunch at a nice riverside picnic ground in the mountains. You can bring your own food( appropriately packaged) if you would like. They store it in a water proof bag and stow it on the raft. If there is even a hint of rain or you just don't want to get completely soaked, bring a three season jacket or rain coat. Also, you will be out on a river dress accordingly. NO open toed shoes! This includes flip- flops. You can rent shoes and wetsuits. If you have any medical issues like allergic reactions etc. I would either bring your own Epi Pen kit and medications with you, and stow it in the water proof bag, or possibly think about finding a less isolated outdoor experience. Be warned, white water rafting can be physically strenuous. The only issue I had was the lunch that was provided. Not that it was bad, it was well packaged and pre-made( not to order). If you have food allergies or don't like mayonnaise bring your own food. Zoar Outdoor is not really able to accommodate food allergies or pickey eaters. Mayonnaise was on every sandwich. I don't know why. They could just have provided packets on the side but they there were none available. My son hates mayonnaise so he only ate the chips, pickle, and cookies provided which got him through the remainder of the trip but not exactly a great lunch. One man we were with had a dairy allergy. I'm pretty sure he was not able to eat any of the food. I'm not sure why he didn't make sure a head of time if he could eat the food.I wish I had known the sandwiches had mayonnaise on them a head of time. Not a huge deal, we got over it. The trip was super fun! I would love to go again and will definitely choose Zoar Outdoor again.

It's not very…read moreembellished; just a concrete pad and a bunch of different sprinklers coming atcha, but hey! on a hot day, it works! At any one time, you may find about 10 kids running through the sprinklers and playing with little buckets and dumptrucks, some of which, I think belonged to the park, and maybe the number of adults languishing on the sidelines. Now, the first ever splash park I ever attended was the one on route 9 in Brookline, and it was amazing, with spinning wheels, and self-dumping buckets of water, and timed fountains, and all sorts of age directed gizmos, so I may be ruined for all other simpler splash parks. But it was still fun. There is sizeable playground adjacent, with excellent climbers and swings, and a woodchip floor. However, the playground is like on a hotplate under a heating lamp. I will never understand why playgrounds seem to always be in the hottest spot in the whole park without opportunity for shade? On a weekend like this weekend, it was empty because the swings and play structures were literally hot enough to fry an egg, or, indeed, a baby bottom. My baby is about 1, and he is probably a little on the younger side. The splash pad is more for persons who are able to run and jump and fill buckets, but even a crawling toddler, kneepads included, was able to appreciate getting cooled off. And he laughed and laughed. So, you can imagine the older kids - they were having a blast. Such unabashed joy - just to be running through a cold spray of water. I really miss being a kid, when you needed so little...
