This cute art center has different exhibits but the one I went to was all about the Boston Marathon. I had signed up to do the special package which included a 13 min slide show about the history of some of the statues that are on the Boston marathon course and just some history about the course/ race itself. And then there was a self guided tour to see the winged foot statues and some others as well. And there was a coupon for food at the start line brewery included too. The person who helped me get my tour started was very nice and helpful. This space is on the small side but it is very nice and clean. Feels a bit on the homey side. I would come back here for sure to check out other art exhibits they put on when it's not marathon season.

I recently had my Sprinkle at Canvas N Cup and it was perfect! The owner, Mahsa, was amazing and so accommodating! We booked a specific date for the party so we had the whole studio to ourselves! We were allowed to bring in our own food that we had catered. The studio was very clean and everything was organized by price. We had given everyone a price point to choose up to and they could pick whatever projects they wanted to make. Mahsa was so helpful when anyone had any questions or needed help with their project! All of the projects came out perfect and everyone had a blast! I would highly recommend this studio for all types of gatherings/events or just going with a friend for a the drop in classes that she is always offering! I cannot wait to go back! I cannot recommend this wonderful painting/craft studio enough. I have known the owner for a long time, but never fully realized how creative and talented she is until I took one of her classes. She is also a great teacher, so it really doesn't matter if you come in not knowing much about painting or crafting. She makes the whole experience fun and she knows how to bring "the artist" out in everyone. Not only is this a great place to spend a few hours creating something you will want to take home and proudly show it off, you can also hold events (birthdays and other special occasions, friend-group excursions), but also fund-raisers (where the owner will allocate a % of profits to the cause) to give back to the community. I recently hosted my daughter's 7th birthday at Canvas N Cup and cannot say enough good things about Mahsa and her studio! Mahsa was great at engaging the girls and directing them with their paintings. She commanded their attention, kept them focused and encouraged and assisted along the way. The party was the appropriate amount of time (2 hours) for 7 year olds and Mahsa was ready with activities should we have needed them. The studio was very clean and Mahsa was focused on making sure it was a fun experience for my daughter and her friends. All of the girls left the party planning to go back and paint again with Mahsa. Canvas n Cup virtual paint party was perfect for my College Sorority Sisters and me. We all live in different cities/states and had the hardest time trying to plan and connect for our 25th reunion. However, Mahsa and her team coordinated everything for us to make it memorable and so much fun. Of course, the wine helped as well. :) Initially, I was skeptical, but I took the chance to reach out and I'm so glad I did. They were very responsive and our kits were delivered within 2 days to everyone individually. It was a seamless process. Jean was our instructor and it felt like she was part of us. We had our daughter's 6th birthday party at Canvas n Cup. Scheduling the party was simple, Mahsa (who is absolutely amazing) called to confirm the day before, and everyone had a blast. There was a ton of room for the kids and parents. It is very clean and organized. The kids had many different options of pieces they could paint (each child was able to paint two pieces). There is a separate area for cake and snacks which was perfect. The price is unbelievable and worth every penny. Myself and some of the moms from the party are planning on going back for a "mommy's night out" paint night. I can not say enough good things about Canvas n Cup!! read more

Canvas n Cup went above and beyond for my son's virtual birthday parties. Mahsa created an amazing Hotwheels themed painting for the kids party. The pre-sketched canvases were perfect for the age group (6 year old birthday). Kristin did a great job with our family party. She allowed my son to lead the group by asking the family questions/making sure they were keeping up with the pace. The virtual party allowed our family across 4 states to participate. We held a private Mommy and Me class here for our moms group. Mahsa was so accommodating from helping us pick a painting suitable for our age group to having snacks and refreshments at the ready to pass the time while we waited between painting steps. The gathering room in back was such a bonus and allowed the kids to move around without us worrying about them knocking anything in the creative space. We had a blast! What a great atmosphere at Canvas n Cup. Mahsa the owner is a ball of energy, we had such a good time at the painting class...and where else would you be offered free snacks and drinks? I would give their customer service a 10 out of 10! There's tons of room in the studio and plenty of parking at the back of the building. Mahsa was extremely prompt in her emails, SO fast at getting materials delivered and even worked with me over a few days after I had trouble with my business card for payment. So glad we chose Canvas n Cup to host our 8yo's birthday party! Mahsa had everything ready when we arrived - she decorated a separate table for food (including all of the paper goods we'd need) with plenty of room for all the kids to sit around. Hayley did a wonderful job on the Zoom meeting in walking everyone through the steps of the painting and helping with questions along the way. We explained how hard it was to get everyone together so she grudgingly told us we could go the morning before the other party. However when we found out three out of the many couldn't make it but the rest of us still wanted to go, she gave us a hard time because the number change but when we said we could keep the same number by bringing someone else, she refused to help accommodate us and so we had to cancel all together. Luckily groupon refunded us.
