I chose, lunch combo with chicken and chicken teriyaki plate. May be, just the chicken was overcooked and a little fibery, besides that, it was very flavorful. I do have a couple more options to try, with me enjoying the food, definitely makes it an option for a revisit. If you live pork and beef, you definitely have more options. The medium chicken sandwich had a little bit more spice than the mild same so so flavor a little dry also. Spicy Pork Bowl with SPICY MAYO. This had a nice flavor, a little bit sweet and a good amount of spice. The sauce was sweeter than I like. We wanted to try a nice variety since we had never been there and have been wanting to try the place for a while. All in all we found the food to be pretty good, not sure if we would order any of these items again though since we felt nothing knocked our socks off. We would like to try the poke bowl next. If you are ordering for pick up be careful about where you order it. Make sure you go to bespoke bowl's website. Important sidenote when ordering takeout here: We ended up going through what we thought was their website and it was some third-party site that was selling this restaurants food and we ended up paying between 12 and $15 more for our order. I showed it to the staff when I picked it up because I had looked at their menu in the store and saw the price difference. The staff seemed confused/surprised.

This one also has an assortment of ramen, noodle bowls and bubble teas. "Hawaii" is a chain with a remarkably large menu. I came in for poke but wound up with a rice noodle bowl, instead. Orders are placed at the counter just like a fast food joint but this isn't really fast food. Most of the food is actually made to order. The staff is really patient. They'll help you navigate the massive menu with many options. If you're dining in they'll bring your orders to your table. I picked thin rice noodles with spicy miso broth and pork belly. I also asked for most of the free toppings and the free hard boiled egg. The pork belly turned out to be a fatty cut. That was on me. Next time, I'll order BBQ pork l,instead. As for that "spicy" broth, they mean it. Next time, I'll also ask for a little less heat in my broth. Still, was a delicious meal which was prepared just for me. I added a large Lycee slushie to my order. It was pretty good but too large. I have to go medium next time. I couldn't finish the meal. I took it home and ate it again for breakfast the next day (I have a cast iron stomach and can eat spicy breakfasts). If this business is part of a chain where are the other restaurants? The manager said most are on Long Island. The Castleton restaurant is the only one in the Capital Region and the restaurant is largely a family-run operation. It's clean, bright, very modern and cute. There's cute wall art. Some illuminated. Others are wallpaper depicting food, pandas and the Chinese god of wealth. This is one of those places with a menu so large that you can keep coming back and not have the same meal twice.

My taste buds were on a roller coaster with the luxurious fat and umami flavors dancing on my tongue. The fried yellow tail and young yellowtail collars were so rich and unctuous. We didn't even know what to do when the sushi boat arrived. Some pieces were adorned with the caviar, prized toro and Wagyu nigiri. The rolls were indulgent. All served with FRESH grated wasabi, which is how you know you got it good, no dry horseradish paste to be found for this meal. Our soup and seaweed salad were out first (about 5-minutes) and our rolls followed about 10-minutes later. All of the food tasted fresh and had great flavor. I really liked the Godzilla Roll and probably could have eaten two orders if they weren't $16 each; you do get a really nice roll for the money. At the end of our meal, our server brought over a hand-made crochet carnation which was beautiful and unexpected. There was definitely tuna, salmon and yellowtail (I think) mixed with Unagi sauce (sugar, soy sauce, and sake). It was served with lots of avocado. If you like sushi or sashimi, I think this will be up your alley. Salt and pepper calamari. Fried calamari wok tossed with green peppers and onions served with some bottled sweet and sour sauce. I could actually taste the salt and pepper on the battered calamari rings. No tentacles in this dish, which, for me, is a bit of a downer. There's something satisfying about crunching into little legs/arms but that's just me. What also stood out was the size of the rings...all average ring size and the cook on them was just right, crunchy outside yet tender inside. You ever go to a place where the calamari rings were gigantic...like the squid did battle with Godzilla in a previous life? No bueno.
