We were quickly sat on the patio, the food came out hot, and the service was solid. Just what you'd expect from a standard dive bar/restaurant. I saw a Fraperol Spritz (a slushee aperol spritz) on the menu, which looked delicious and refreshing. Will definitely try that next time!

OMG, this is like the 5th time we've come here, and we stop by every single time we come to a Giants game. The bartenders are always the same. Ashley and the other bartender they are seriously some of the most welcoming people ever. We had just been at another spot nearby where we honestly felt like we were bothering them asking for service, but the second we walked in here the vibe completely changed. The ambiance is super hype, and they're always packed for one simple reason: the staff makes people want to come back. The food is good, but honestly the bartenders are what make this place stand out. They're insanely busy, yet somehow they remember multiple orders and still keep the energy up. Ashley is seriously awesome. She's always working hard, always keeping the good vibes going, and she's simply fucking awesome at what she does. This has officially become our go-to spot anytime we're in San Francisco not just for Giants games, but every single trip to the city.

Giving this place another try, I went with their F-Line Burger this time. It came with a 6.5-oz beef patty on a sesame seed bun with cheddar cheese, bacon, caramelized onions, BBQ sauce, plus lettuce, tomato, pickle, and raw onion. I have to say, the burger was much better than their salad. I ordered the beef medium-rare and it was cooked exactly to my liking. The caramelized onions paired really well with the BBQ sauce, and I especially liked that the bun seemed to be lightly pan-fried, giving it a bit of crispiness. Overall, I thought it was quite delicious. I substituted the fries for a side of coleslaw, which was... let's just say not very traditional. It was noticeably pinker than most coleslaws, giving off a strong ketchup vibe. Still, it was acceptable, and I was happy that they accommodated my request. That said, at $23, the price felt too high for what you get.

Stopped by the holiday festivities. They have some okay bites and decent drinks. Not much in the non-alcoholic department, unfortunately. There are a good amount of smaller tables around.

Hi Dive is a bar located at Pier 28 1/2 in San Francisco. Over the years, I have met friends there for a beer or two. On a nice sunny day, Hi Dive is a great place to hang out, especially if you can find a seat outside. Hi-Dive has a history that dates back to 1935. It started as a small wood-framed bar and restaurant. For many years, it was known as Boondocks and was a popular dive bar for locals and tourists alike. As the area around Pier 28 1/2 was restored, more businesses and residents moved in. Hi Dive adapted to these changes and became a bright, cozy place with a relaxed atmosphere and great views of the San Francisco Bay and the Bay Bridge. Its location near Oracle Park, the San Francisco Giants home, makes it a popular stop during baseball season. People also visit year-round for its affordable menu. Personally, I've never had a full meal there, but I can vouch for their garlic and potato fries--they are delicious! On the day my friend visited, we met at Hi Dive for a beer and shared an order of garlic fries before heading out for dinner. The two ladies serving the large crowd outside on the patio were very professional and friendly. As always, we had a pleasant experience. Hi Dive also has a small but nice indoor space, with a long bar that seats about eight to ten people and approximately a dozen tables. Hi Dive offers stunning views of San Francisco Bay and the Bay Bridge. It has a good wine list and serves basic bar food and more. As I mentioned, outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy their meals and drinks while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

    Well done! Friessssss

Ambiance Food What a Killer spot !!! Right beneath the Bay Bridge where fun meets views of the Bay and a day @ the ballpark. Cold beer, nice cocktails and snack menu. Have had some super fun times here. This time the server fell short but I'm sure game days are challenging everywhere. 3.5 stars Still love this place. Parking is a challenge so take public transportation or pay to park at nearby lots or meters. Worth it!!!

Atmosphere is chill and you can really tell the bartenders enjoy what their doing but they are definitely busy and it can hard to catch them for a drink. Great menu, I highly recommend the vegan chili which was absolutely delicious. Prices are high but it is SF. Bathrooms available inside. Outside seating also available. Sit by the bar or get a table. Either way stop by and check it out for yourself.

This weekend was Fleet Week at Pier 30...I decided to try Hi Dive and Red's Java House...first time at Pier 30..it was nice out..the view of the bridge and pier was interesting...took photos..festive weekend at the Embarcadero...Fleet Week t-shirt for $10..jello shots for $3..fun to try and hang out..take photos and ask too many questions..and spend some money..they had necklaces with beads..festive..Cheers? Where nobody cares about your name! That's SF!

After a long work week I felt the need to get out for a walk. Nearby is Hi Dive on the Embarcadero at Bryant St. Usually busy on any given day, and especially on Giants game day. It was a late afternoon on Friday (non game day). As I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the bartender. And my server - Kelly - I remembered from previous visits. Always super friendly and attentive. On this visit I ordered a Vodka Cranberry and the Chicken Wings. Super tasty with some kick. The atmosphere was super chill. The vibe was like being at a house party - everyone seemed to know each other. It was obvious that many were regular customers. Like family. I need to make more return visits.

Although it was busy (not packed), we were immediately greeted by a beautiful soul and smile, by the name of Christiana! There are 2 levels in the bar/restaurant, we sat at the top which is cool bc we could see the whole venue. This place has a nautical, rustic feel. I didn't notice if there was a DJ or not but the music was THUMPIIIIN (not all bass.. just fun! lol) They were still serving food at 10pm, although I am not sure if late night serving was due to the special event. We had one order of 3 tacos and split it (they were gone before I blinked), Calamari, and fries were large portions. Drinks were good! We sat for a few hours and never went without attentiveness or smiles. Thank you Christiana, this place is lucky to have you :) They have lounges sporadically through the venue as well..

Tucked away as a speakeasy vibe and moody, golden lighting, it's the kind of place that feels like a secret you're lucky to be in on. The ambiance is sultry and sophisticated, with just the right touch of mystery. But the real alchemy? That's Manny behind the bar. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel like regulars. His energy is warm, his knowledge is deep, and his cocktails? Absolute works of art. He asked what flavors I liked and crafted something completely off-menu that was hands-down one of the best drinks I've ever had. Watching him work is like watching a performance precise, passionate, and full of flair. The rest of the staff was equally welcoming, and the music set the perfect tone for a night of conversation and connection. Whether you're a cocktail connoisseur or just looking for a memorable night out, The Alchemist delivers on every level. Pro tip: Sit at the bar and ask for Manny. You'll leave with a new favorite drink and probably a new friend.

It's got tempura soft shell crab, avocado, and cucumber then topped with a ton of sashimi and unagi sauce. Super filling. - Red Dragon roll: Solid if you like spicy tuna and salmon. A bit sour idk why - Haleakala Maki: My 2nd favorite. Albacore poke with the ogo seaweed and red clay salt had such a unique flavor, then top with torched albacore and spicy garlic oil. I eyed their Bento Box, in which I chose the Chicken Teriyaki, and the Tempura for my items. It comes with a salad, and a scoop of rice. All that for $20. My food came very hot! I was so pleased! My tempura was particularly great, with a thinner batter, and crispy and hot. I also got the chicken teriyaki, which was chicken breast grilled, and quite good, just a little more on the heavier grilled side. Still juicy though. Portions were a little small here, but overall I loved the food. I will have to come back for another Bento box someday, or bring my family here after work. It's a cute and cozy little restaurant, modern inside, different from how I envisioned in a good way! For some reason not exactly what I was expecting from what I saw on the outside. The service was very friendly and talkative, but also took a few minutes to me to be helped as I think the host also doubled as a waiter. Would definitely return for the lunch hour!
