    Cloud Green Grape

Tasty drinks that are consistent between locations. Not too sweet but still feels like a dessert drink. Quick service as long as it's not a BOGO day. Some seating. Their Mango Boom drink is my favorite in the summer, with the coconut jelly and sago.

About a 1-1.5: This particular Heytea location had opened up recently in Greenwich Village, and they serve a variety of teas and drinks. I had the Grape Slush, which while it came out in a nice purple-y shade, the drink itself was not great - it was mostly ice, and you really couldn't taste any of the grape flavor. Not sure if they if they used fresh grapes or not, but the drink was a total letdown. The staff encourages you to order via the kiosk, which only one is available; depending on who's ahead of you, there may be a bit of a wait time. The space is bright and kind of sterile looking; there are only a limited number of seats inside, kind of awkwardly placed; most patrons seem to take their drinks to go. Note that you are competing with online orders as well, so there is a bit of a wait to get your drink. +all ice, no flavor +order via the kiosk +limited seating

Finally got to come here where there wasn't a long line, and I got the cheese foam green tea and it was so good that I wanted another after. They take a student discount and I'll be here again and again this year!

Confusing setup with orders taken only via the smart board. Recommend using the app to get 15% off first time and taking your time w selections. We had the mango grapefruit boom and the green grape boom. The mango was VERY filling w the pulp, sago and heavy coconut milk meaning for $7.99 DD was barely able to finish 1/3 without getting full. The green grape boom was light and icy and refreshing - I got 1/2 sugar which was just right. Picture perfect drinks but I didn't love the inability to customize milk preferences, though did like that the app recommended not adding certain extras to a drink for flavor mismatches (it warned us about adding boba to the mango drink). Overall a "meh" - if you're hungry it'll fill you up!

I tried the supreme matcha latte and it was delicious. It tasted like ice cream. I would love to try their other teas. The space is very clean and calming. Reminds me of a spa. Service was quick.

Went to get the twinkle twinkle collaboration pin and tiramisu milk tea ... loved the pin so cute and good quality!! Was around 45 mins wait .. which is not bad .. loved the combination of milk tea and tiramisu!!

During a week of exploring NYC, I must have visited every single HeyTea location. No lie, you can see a good part of the city walking from one HeyTea to the next. I must have had a dozen Coconut Mango Booms during this period and have no regret!

HeyTea has become my favorite tea drink chain. So much fresh fruit, not too sweet. This time I ordered the cloud strawberry boom. First time having the cloud (cheese foam) here and it was really good! I'd get it again. Don't be turned off by the word cheese. It's essentially whipped cream with a hint of savory. I ordered on the app this time as well and the timing is quite accurate. It was helpful to order about 10 min before my ETA, so it was a minimal wait time.

I ordered a smoothie, but it was almost warm. I showed it to the waiter, but he insisted it was a smoothie. Did he think I had never had a smoothie? I didn't want to argue. There is no need to waste time on such people. I will not come again. I complained but there was no feedback. The management is also a mess.

HEYTEA never disappoints! The drinks are fresh, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. Great tea aroma, high-quality ingredients, and consistent taste every time. A go-to spot for premium milk tea and fruit tea.also provided a good service.

HeyTea NYU is newly opened as of Oct 18, 2024. There is a grand opening promotion. First 3 days is buy one get one free and then days 4-7 is buy one get the second 50% off. Mostly students in the area. Staffs are friendly. Order is about 20 mins wait given that it is newly opened. We tried the matcha boba shake. It was delicious which hit the spot. There are three tables and stools near the window for sitting. Would recommend coming here again. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5

We went during the 20th so it was still a few days within grand opening so there was discounts at the time. The tea itself is pretty okay, better than many boba places in nyc. The service was decently fast? Since it was still close to grand opening and on a weekend, it was VERY crowded. Can't say much about ambience but that it is all students nearby.

Honestly, this milk tea is really good. It's smooth, not too sweet, and you can actually taste the tea instead of just sugar. There are tons of options and toppings, so it's easy to find something you like. The place is clean and comfortable, and it's a great spot to hang out with friends or just chill for a bit. Service is quick and friendly too. I'll definitely be coming back.

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil.
