I picked up the car, a Toyota Prius, and I was in and out within 10 minutes or so. Clean, lower mileage car with unlimited miles. Unlimited miles? Road trip! I had my friend Karen on the phone and was off to Dayton for breakfast before I had the windows totally defrosted. I took it back the next morning, handed them the keys and I was done. Justin McAbee confirmed to me over the phone that my items were found and were safely at the branch for me to pick up. When I arrived, my belongings were completely gone. The Ghosting: Justin McAbee admitted fault and promised the branch would reimburse me for the missing items. I sent him the exact list of what was missing. Instead of resolving it, he ghosted me for months. I called and walked into the store multiple times with zero resolution. More Empty Promises: In May, after months of pushing, I was finally told by the team--including Jason Pearson and Ryan Batts, who are also involved in handling this mess--that they would finally cut me a check for the lost items. The Ultimate Brush-Off: After a week and a half of no check arriving, I followed up with Justin McAbee again. Once I got into the vehicle, the low tire pressure warning light was illuminated, raising concerns about the condition and readiness of the car. It seems Enterprise is starting to lose its way when it comes to delivering the reliable customer experience I've come to expect. The whole purpose of reserving a vehicle in advance is to avoid delays and ensure a car is ready upon arrival. To which we replied "we have a confirmation" and he just repeated the same thing. Also, he said he tried to call the number listed, but there was no missed call. This is unacceptable and why apps like Turo are putting these kinds of places out of business. Absolutely horrendous customer service. Another customer walked up at 12:58pm and he locked the door as they were coming. She stood there and finally he opened the door. Don't rent a car from here.

I can't say enough good things about how nice and efficient the folks are there. Huda is seriously one of the best employees I've met anywhere, as was the gentleman who helped me at pickup (my bad for forgetting his name). Thank you both, instead of leaving your place frustrated (as these things can sometimes be, accidents, etc.), I left happy and in a better mood than when I came in. Five humungo stars.
