However, there were cars available from different locations in the surrounding area. This location was the closest to our airport hotel. The inside is indefinite need of an upgrade, but the staff is hard-working and friendly. I watched one man with the phones and the queue of customers expertly for about 20 minutes before a colleague join him from the back. Spoiler alert: while we were able to find cars away from the airport, we were not able to find a large vehicle for our family of six. Thus, we ended up renting two smaller vehicles from this location with me and my husban each driving one. I opted for a midsize SUV, and it was not ready even though we weren't at the desk until about an hour after our scheduled reservation time. That said, the staff was communicative and worked quickly to get the vehicle ready for me. The vehicles were clean, late models. Our only issue is not being able to get the radio to work in one.

I looked over at Alamo and there was one person in line. I promptly booked my car via Priceline, and it was about $18 more than Budget. I was in and and out the Alamo line in 10 mins. I looked over at the Budget/ Avis lines , they were still working with the same 2 people when while I was in the Budget line. The Columbus Airport has a consolidated rental car facility . You take the rental car facility bus from the terminal, and it takes you to the rental cars housed in a offsite garage (about a mile away from the airport.) You can select any available model they have on the hand based on the category of vehicle you rented. The signage on rental return was easy to spot. Employees at this location are very friendly. Drop off is VERY quick and easy.

In October 2025, my family and I found drugs inside the rental vehicle we were given. This was especially alarming because we had our minor children in the car while traveling from Ohio to Tennessee. I reported the issue immediately and provided photos, but the local branch downplayed the seriousness of the situation. Although I did eventually receive my refund, I had to physically go into the location just to get it processed. What is even more frustrating is that Enterprise corporate advised the branch manager was directed to send me a promotion code for two complimentary rental days due to the seriousness of this incident. To this day, I still have not received the promised complimentary days or any resolution. This was a major safety issue, and the lack of accountability, communication, and follow through has been unacceptable. I expected much better from a company of this size. This situation could have been so much worse.
