    Worst experience ever! Wish I could rate this a zero. Yesterday on the way home from our vacation, we heard a pop and the back drivers side tire went flat. Called Roadside assistance to get help. We were stuck on the side of 71north bound, with lots of traffic, not close to an exit. First call we were told we would have to pay for an Uber to the airport which was 33 miles south of us since that was the only location open. Was told that they needed to keep their line open so they hung up on us after letting us know we would receive text messages for the tow truck. We were told we had to stay with the vehicle. Tried to call again twice to explain that the 6of us on a busy highway was not safe and both of those calls we were told to call 911 and hung up on. My husband called, not sure he spoke to but they had a single person Uber come get him to get him to the airport to try to get a rental to get back to us so we could get to safety and get home. The person he spoke to even sent a new truck to come get the rental with the flat we were in. Didn't know till my Husband was separated from us that they should have taken us and all of our stuff all together. The Manager at the airport did his best to get through the red tape. Tow truck got there, took us to a truck stop and left us there. Staff saw us and checked on us, told us it wasn't safe to be outside there at night. We were stranded there for 4 hours due to it taking 5 hours to sort out the rental situation. We get that there are procedures that have to be followed, but I have never felt that a company cared so little about our wellbeing and safety. They should have paid for the Uber to pick all of us up. During that 5 hours there was a whole mess with tow trucks and getting the vehicle to the right place was the huge delay in getting us home and getting us to safety. We will never rent from Enterprise ever again. On a side note, could have changed a damn flat tire ourselves and avoided this whole mess had there been a spare in the van. Who the fuck sends a rental car with someone without having a damn spare in the car. This whole situation was a mess. I am happy we are all home safely, and grateful we now know to never use Enterprise ever again!!!

    Enterprise is great just don't go to Avis on lazelle! I recommend them over competition

    BUYER / RENTER BEWARE!!!…read more As many have described, this location is not renter/customer friendly. BE SPECIFICIALLY CAUTIOUS IF YOU HAVE A YOUNG DRIVER OR FIRST TIME RENTER. THEY ARE PROMOTING OVERKILL COVERAGE AND TAKING ADVANATAGE OF PEOPLE. We (MY SON & I) recently had to use this location for an INSURANCE COMPANY PROVIDED Rental Car (Son's was seriously damaged by another driver - who is covering the expense). It took 3-5 phone calls to schedule - plan the pick up with the Body Shop and Progressive Insurance. After getting the car (Nissan Versa) things appeared fine, until 3 weeks into the rental and we get a $767 bill directly from ENTERPRISE for incidentals. My son picked up the rental and was persuaded to accept the coverage as 'what most people do to be safe'. $767 in fees for 3 weeks for a rental we are not responsible for and our regular insurance and or credit card benefits covers us 100%. So, my son (24 year old) was inconvenienced by the accident, trustworthy enough to trust the ENTERPRISE REP, and was billed $767 - more than he earns in a week. 3 WEEK RENTAL FOR THIS CAR IS ONLY $500. TOTAL SCAM!! We stopped in to see the manager at this location "PETER" who told us there is nothing he could do and that the coverages were all great things and he highly recommends them. He refused to do anything or even apologize for confusion or coercion to enroll. YES - we realize that the world is tough and buyer beware is the way it is, but it is sad it takes $767 to help a young person think before they trust a sales person - even in your local town's business. This not only changes our view of this location but will stop us from ever using Enterprise for any future services (Vacations, local renters, moving, etc). We have also contacted the BBB, Attorney General, and others for assistance. Please avoid them.

    It appears that $168 Million wasn't enough & Hertz wants to pay out even more money (see NPR…read morearticle link below). I was accused of being in a stolen Hertz vehicle during my rental period; but, I recall Hertz being able to figure out their error over the phone & not requiring me to bring the vehicle back early, etc., so I choose to leave no review vs a poor review & frankly 1 of the employees was so blatantly nasty & unprofessional that it rose to comedic heights. I happened to have a very humorous friend with me the day I returned the never-stolen while in my care vehicle & when he finished talking about them (after we left), I laughed so hard that I felt a tad sorry for their professional limitations....until today. Today, I went to rent a vehicle (from an entirely different location, selected by the body shop) & I was told they can't rent to me because I am on a list of prohibited renters "suspended privileges list" due to my last rental "being stolen" & me giving them difficulty in filing a police report. I do think that the ladies present at this location were fully capable of continuing to give me the awesome service they were providing; until the system flag was discovered. At that point, it was out of their hands, but, I did expect that the area Manager (Roy Snowden) would be empowered to solve his employee &/or "system" generated problem,, instead, I was told on a Friday to contact "the only person that can help" on Monday. The level of professional & personal inconvenience, humiliation, embarrassment, trauma, & yet unrealized toll this has caused me, my family, & even friends at this point necessitates that I contact the representing attorneys in the 2022 settlement & others for good measure ASAP. My experience with Hertz has been the definition of unprofessional & bush league through and through (except for the two professional, yet, powerless to help employees I encountered at the Canal Winchester location today). They were both truly outstanding people & employees from my short, but, pleasant interaction with both of them. I was of course frustrated today, but, not really with either of them. The area manager on the other hand needs to have more tools in his tool belt to solve issues. Instead of being compassionate or sounding like he was even attempting to empathize with my pressing situation; he chose to scold me for apparently calling the past employee who put me in the system causing these issues, stupid & his opinion of my choice of words about the situation, Next year I will be 50 years old. When I understand that a man is unstable enough to attempt to correct my language & sounds as if he is personally offended & tells me what not to say; I know I'm not dealing with the standard of corporate professional that I've assumed by the title. Once I realized that he was taking my words personally & out of context; I lost hope in his professional acumen as well. Rant: The initial accusation occurred as I was renting via an insurance company by the way, which makes the entire car theft that much more insane in my mind eg. Similar to a corporate rental situation; it's just like wtf are you guys talking about at all whatsoever someone ain't too clever. How does one have the car stolen & then bring it back on schedule themselves & how can they "have difficulty" with me filing a police report on a vehicle that was never stolen & just so many questions for a competent attorney to delve into & change from my run on sentence & rant into that nice fancy writing of theirs. Then when you return the car, they will try to get you for a smoking fee when you don't smoke run from this place, this place is a go somewhere else.
