When I called the business phone number, I got a girl who answered "hello". No announcement of a business name or anything and you could tell she was on a cell phone out "running around" (not very professional). I wanted to get some curbing done and we agreed on a time for a Saturday at 3PM which she said was perfect since that's the day they did their curbing work. I was to decide on a curbing style and color and then call her back later in the day. When I called back she was unable to deliver the first 2 colors I asked for. We eventually agreed on my 3rd choice and then I could hear her talking to a guy while I was on the phone with her. She came back on the phone and wanted to change the time of the appointment. Since I had already scheduled other vendors to come to my rental I was unwilling. She then put the installer on the phone who again wanted to negotiate the time and move it to earlier in the day, citing it would be hot (duh this is AZ) and their would be a large gap between his last appointment and then mine. I explained my situation and said 3PM or nothing, and he said he couldn't do it. I said fine i would find someone else. He called me back shortly and said that his brother did the same type of work and that he could do the job and would deliver on the initial color I had asked for. I thought okay now we're headed in the right direction. When I went to my rental the following day to meet with the installers no one showed up and no one called. This is not a professional or well run company so I would stay away if you are looking for any work to be done by them.

I texted asking for a quote and Alis' wife, Maria, responded within a minute I think. Set up a quote for the following day - Alis and Manny showed up right on time. I walked them through our 6-month-neglected yard which was really a mess thanks to 2 mesquite trees. Anyone who has a mesquite tree knows exactly what I'm talking about regarding mesquite mess - layers and layers of mess and things to pick up. I'm so happy with the result! Our yard has never looked this clean. So much mesquite tree mess was always left behind with other landscapers or they'd just blow the mess into corners and leave most of it. Not with Alis. They did a fantastic job and I'm now going to have him come regularly. If you've neglected your yard like we did, you'll have to pay someone to deal with all of that neglect. If someone quotes you a low bid for a neglected yard (can't tell ya how many times I've gone for that!), don't go that route. He got here at 10:45 and in 5 min gave me an excellent quote and said 2 guys would do the job in 2.5 hrs. We set a date 4 days later at 8 am. The two guys arrived at 7:50 am. We went to the tree and discussed what I wanted done. I offered to help but they said they had it handled and they would come get me when done. They came to my front door when done and took me around back to check it out and make sure I was pleased. They were polite and professional. They had all the proper tools needed to do the job. They hauled away all the trimmings. They not only raked the gravel but blew off that entire side of the yard. They also managed the entire job without damaging any of the 5 large prickly pear cactus, 2 birds of paradise, and 1 mini palm tree that are all within 1-5 feet from this tree. It's a family run business, his crews are covered by his insurance while on your property. One hour after they left, Billy V (owner) called to follow up to make sure I was satisfied and to answer any concerns I may have. He also thanked me for the business. Multiple mature, full, flowering shrubs were cut down into stiff, unnatural box-like shapes with most of the blooms removed. The entire look of my yard was drastically changed in a single visit. This is not professional landscaping - it's careless and shows a lack of basic pruning knowledge. When I contacted the owner about it, my concerns were dismissed and he hung up on me. Our…read moreyard service, Francysco's Landscaping, just quit when the pavers that they were repairing from our tree that fell over a few weeks ago were not leveled and left with large gaps between pavers. We told him this was unacceptable and he quit on the spot. Pavers are a service that they advertise on their truck that they provide. Apparently that is to their satisfaction and not the paying customer. He charges an outrageous amount and then wonders why you expect quality. We also asked him to fix a valve that was constantly running and over watering our palo verde and he fixed the wrong one. We told him it was still running (which he should have verified before leaving), so he said he must have fixed the wrong valve. His solution was to come back and remove valves that I didn't want removed only to have to come back and undo that work, that was neither needed or approved. Then he has the audacity to try to charge me for that work! Stay away from anyone that charges a fortune by overestimating the cost to do a job and then does not stand behind their work.
