We had been here once before so I chose this over Hop Haus due to the extensive burger options. We were told to sit wherever and someone would be with us. After we found seats and sat down for a few minutes, then friends of the server/bartender came in. They were excited to see each other, so of course they were greeted and served drinks before us. Not a huge deal, but I noticed it and it made me feel like we may be put on the back burner for the rest of our time. Our burgers came out on a large English muffin, mine happened to be burnt. It took ten minutes to get the servers attention again to let her know that the burnt English Muffin needed to be replaced. The burger was good after they replaced the English muffin. The delay in service is what completely threw me off. Even making better eye contact with the dining area when bartending would have helped so I didn't have to wait for 10 minutes to let them know my bread was burnt. I didn't want to eat it that way so I waited. It took time to pay the bill as well. We left at 4:30pm. Maybe today was an off day. The food was good though.

We assumed the place would be packed as we headed in to watch the 1:00 game. But it was dead. Which we were kind of relieved because we weren't worried about finding a table but also kind of perplexed because any other place that serves wings on a Sunday during football season is bursting at the seams. We walked in and stood at the hostess station waiting to be seated for about 5 minutes and didn't see an employee at all. My husband finally just walked over to the bar area and spotted someone around the corner. He asked if we could sit and she was somewhat agreeable to the idea. Thankfully our server McKenna was a delight. She was attentive and efficient. The French onion soup was fantastic. The wings were fine but not as good as I remember. They used to have a crisp to them. Now they are just kind of soggy. The kids liked their chicken tenders although I thought it looked like they had been in the fryer a tad too long. I could get past all that except I can't overlook the lack of management and the terrible bartender. We observed multiple people come in and stand at the hostess station for excessive amounts of time before anyone bothered to greet them. There were people at the bar with empty drinks and the bartender was standing around the corner on her phone while people waited. It was just a bad movie unfolding before our eyes. It was an experience for sure. This place used to be and could be amazing - they just need better hands on management and something to draw the crowd in on Sundays. We might come back if we see any chatter about new management, but until then it's probably off our rotation.

I have eaten at Hop Haus twice and also went for drinks only in the past. While I was excited about…read morethe gastro pub in Berlin, it didn't meet my expectations this last time I went. The good: The restaurant has plenty of beer and drink options as well as a nice selection of appetizers (pretzels, wings, potato chip nachos, etc). The decor was great and I liked the space. However, there were quite a few fruit flies hovering at our table so that was annoying. The not-so-good: The first time we ate there, we got burgers and fried chicken sliders. It was decent bar food. We just went this past Saturday for dinner. Ordered drinks, wings as an app, I ordered the bronzed Salmon/risotto special and my husband ordered the Cuban with a side salad. Wings were a good size and the sauce was tasty. However, neither of us were that impressed with our entrees. The Cuban sandwich was not your traditional Cuban - it had a lot of ingredients which is good, but was also hard to eat as it was super greasy and got all over his hands. My salmon was cooked to the right temperature but I didn't really care for the taste. The butternut squash risotto that is sat on top of was very dense and stuck to the plate. It was supposed to have cherry tomatoes and spinach mixed in but I didn't see any. Service was also lacking - there were a number of times that we were waiting for a quite a long time while other servers were at the tables around us. Maybe 10 mins to get a box, another 15 mins to get the check, another 15-20 mins to get our card swiped. It didn't seem busy in the restaurant but we just never saw our server. I never even got a water refill. So- unfortunately this is off my list of restaurants to return to unless we are just getting drinks and apps.

The sound was really good, which makes a great band sound even better. The bartender was very friendly and offered tastes of beers for my girlfriend and I while we debated the draft list. A late night menu was available, and the nachos were surprisingly quick and very tasty, and a fried chicken grinder at 11:30 TOTALLY hit the spot. Decent prices, too. Under $25 for four beers and nachos. For a Saturday night, the crowd was slim but good company. Mostly locals, a few bikers, and some awesome music lovers.

I went here last night with my friend after working a late closing shift. We arrived around 11:30 p.m and we were the only ones at the place, which was cool because we felt like we owned the place. Our bartender was a chilled girl who was very attentive, afterall, we were the only ones at the bar. I was craving a hamburger so I ordered a bacon and bleu cheese one. The patty was a little burnt with charcoal though I wanted medium cooked. I couldn't taste the bleu cheese because there was not enough of it, but I was happy that Blue Moon was on draft. Fries were okay, but at that point, I was so hungry that anything tasted good. My friend had a couple of bites of my burger and thought it was gross. Honestly, I wasn't expecting anything fancy because the Pub is probably used to serving drunks. Since I am in Berlin, it is cool to have a place near my house. Don't let the outside of this place fool you because looks are definitely deceiving. We were cautious coming to this place due to the appearance of the outside, but once we were in it was so much fun. Agus, aka rawbartender, was Ah-mazing and truly made the night fun. He was truly such a vibe!! I ordered the SpongeBob, which was Goslings rum, pineapple spice, ginger, lime, angostura bitters. Especially with the show that was put on, my drink tasted even better. It was a Smokey, yet smooth and refreshing drink! We also got the Snow White, on the sweeter side made with Pear vodka, orgeat, pear juice, lemon juice, cinnamon. And of course, we can't forget our schooling in tequila and Mezcal from Agus. He was very informative of what he was serving and we tried a few different shots. He gave us the rundown of how you're actually supposed to taste tequila. And I have to say I've never had an experience like that before. I wish the party didn't stop and I will definitely be coming back specifically for Agus and of course the drinks!

This French Toast was stuffed with whipped cream cheese, surrounded by banana halves and strawberries. There was a little ice cream cone in the middle of the French toast filled with more cream cheese. Thank goodness we shared this, even then we couldn't finish it.
