While there, we stopped for coffee and a pastry, and even the smallest details stood out, like sugar cubes shaped like a horse's head. Sipping coffee served in Hermès fine china while people-watching inside one of the most iconic luxury stores in the world is one of those small moments you don't forget. I experienced 2 extremes at this branch so I'm confused about how to review it. The staff on the lower level did not know the proper standards to their own store when it came to buying shoes. One lady said to walk around and someone will get me when I'm available. Another man told me I had to sit down at the couches by the men's shoes and someone will get me. Another lady told me that there's a line by the women's shoes where I had to queue. After about 45 min, another lady came to me hurried and asked, "what do you want?" I gave the name of the shoe and she just stared at me. "What do you want?" She asked again. I gave the name of the shoe. "What does it look like?" I was surprised she didn't know one of their most popular men's footwear. I showed her a picture and she said, "we're out" then proceeded to just walk away while shouting at me "talk to my manager if you need more assistance". That experience gave me such an ick. That I left fuming. But on the way out to the ground floor, Katerina, who was handling everything from cosmetics to jewelry was so incredibly nice and friendly. She was sharing which fragrances were the most popular among Parisian men, Hermes buyers and even her brother. She took her time explaining all of the scents and when I asked her to check out some of the leather bracelets, she was more than happy to take time to check my measurements, the different color combinations, packaged all of the products so well. I wish she could have helped me with all of the departments. So it's a 1 for the rude and unprofessional lady at the shoe department but a 5/5 for Katerina in the fragrance/leather jewelry section. read more

The most beautiful unsuspecting store. Design is impeccable - we were told this used to be a swimming pool so imagine how large that is! Aside from the design though, service is terrible. We went in for a couple of belts, and the SA who was assigned to us, barely even looked at us. She told us the belts weren't in stock in the entire city, then voluntarily proceeded to inform us it was her job to sell and if she had the product she would sell it. It was an odd statement to offer up and made us question the motive. There were a ton of SA just standing around talking to each other, laughing, etc. What's the point of employing all these people when there's "no product to sell" and they're not actively helping any clients? read more

Located on Rue de Sevres (Roughly 1/2 way between Bon Marche and my favorite Saint-Germain restaurants) the dramatic effect of the grand entry is only hint of what is to follow! Both the store layout and the wide ranging selection of everything you can imagine Hermes are stunning! While beauty is in the eye of the beholder and everyone has their own favorite designers, ALL OF US can agree that an exceptional shopping experience is... truly exceptional!!! The staff and management of this Hermes Store are without compare. Starting with Baptiste (Head of Customer Experience) who has created a wonderful culture of "above and beyond customer service" and continuing with each and every one of the SA's (Sales Associates) we interacted with, you could not possibly ask for more! This Hermès is the most beautiful. I don't have to elaborate on that. The reason I give it 3 stars is because they have adopted the old way of the main store by making people line up out the door before opening each day for appointments with the leather goods department. I think this rule started fairly recently because all the information I gathered online before visiting this store was, you do not need a appointment to see handbags here. Obviously that's not the case anymore. We were lucky enough to talk to a sale representative when we went without a appointment, because someone else canceled. We were told many times that we were lucky and need to come line up next time. There was definitely a snobby attitude, and unfortunately, she did not have what we wanted that day, and we do not know how much we can believe that. I do not know how to feel about this when I was ready to spend handbags money here. I guess my point is, I understand that they are too busy in this location now so appointment is needed, but since the main store already use modern technology, the internet, to make appointments, isn't it easier for EVERYONE that this store use the same method too? And also, it's sad that in France, Hermès chose to play the GAME with customers, and now there is no trust between, at least from the customers side. In the US the sales representatives are much nicer. read more

This is my fave Paris location. The store is beautiful and the SA's are so nice. They don't have an online appointment system, but they do take down your name to talk to an SA about handbags you want to "score". I feel like they have better stock than FSH and it's definitely less crowded here. read more

I was in Paris Sevres location the second week of August, and thought I would write a review of my experience shopping at the Hermes store. Not only was I able to find everything I was intending to purchase, I had such a lovely experience shopping at this location that I found it worthy to mention. Customer service can make or break an experience for any customer, no matter how high quality or luxurious the product or brand is. Therefore, I really wanted to mention the excellent service provided by both Victor L.and Sacha E. They not only knew the Hermes product well, but really listened to what I was looking for and was able to help me locate everything. They were super friendly, professional and defintely provided stellar service that represented the Hermes brand well. It certainly was a, "cherry on top" experience for this trip to Paris." Thank you, Hermes, for making sure you have star players that represent your brand well! Please make sure they know this happy client will return to this location, hopefully in the near future. Lastly, the location and the interior design has such interesting history and just gorgeous to look at! I've never seen an HERMES store look anything like that in the United States. Love love love! Very excited to have had the chance to visit this location. Security opens the door for you. The staff is super friendly and it looked beautiful inside. The lady assisting me was extremely polite and attentive and did not mind helping me choose my items. She gave great advice and suggestions. Once I got to the cash register another lady was there and she had somewhat of an attitude and talked to another lady in French in front of me even after knowing I only speak English. I doubt she was talking about me but I recommend the cashiers remain respectful and avoid making the customer think they are talking about them. I had a chance to walk around a bit and what's there not to like. I was lucky to actually make it on time after work. I got there 15min before close and they did not rush me out at all. Overall great experience and I'm excited to come again during my next Paris visit!! read more

To my complete surprise ... I enjoyed the kind help of "Jean Paul" while I shopped at Hermes (Rue de Sevres) on June 28/18. I have a modest budget and wanted a momento to remember my visit. I was intimidated by the reviews of terrible service. I pressed on and went to the store. Jean Paul brought out many different bracelet options, before I landed on my choice. He brought cold water to enjoy during the visit. Lastly, he gave me sample of my favourite perfume to take home. A lovely experience with Hermes. Ask for Jean Paul when you go to Rue de Sevres. read more

This location is a lot less busier than FSH but also have fewer items, still a lot to look at and drool over though. Bought 2 bride de gala twillies, a snowman bag charm and 2 cashmere scarves. The SA was very nice and accommodating. Would recommend this location if you want a less overwhelming atmosphere. read more

"'Cause I'm young and rich and plus I'm bougie (hey), and I'm not stupid so I keep the Uzi" (yeah, I went there and quoted Migos Bad n Boujee). That means I found myself in front of THIS store. If you too are on vacation or strolling thru town, you'll wanna walk in and admire all the beautiful pieces of jewelry, clothing and accessories they have to offer. The men's shop has a large selection of everything from clothing to shoes. Their jewelry selection is HUGE! They have additional pieces in their back room that they will gladly bring out to show you as you lounge at one of their tables. I found their staff to be friendly, and accommodating. I didn't feel pressured to buy any of the pieces that they took the time to show me. When I'm ready to make the investment on my next vacation thru the EU, I'll definitely be back to walk thru Hermes. read more

Absolutely beautiful store, but will not be returning to it. We came to this store a few times during our last trip to Paris and had lovely experiences. It was one of our first stops on our first full day in Paris this time and we were planning on spending a hefty sum of money on my birthday present. We entered the store and went separate directions. Me towards the leather goods and jewelry; must husband towards the men's wear and home goods. My husband was followed around and watched very closely by 2 different security guards. He said the guards took turns watching over him and stayed about 3 feet from him. Every step he took, they took. Every time he stopped to look at something, they stopped and watched over him. One guard continued to say something on his radio that my husband couldn't understand. Meanwhile, in another part of the store, I was being completely ignored. I wandered my way through a couple of the sections and found the item I was looking to purchase. The sales person in this section was busy with another customer (which I completely understand) but then once she finished, she never returned. I got tired of standing alone staring at the item I wanted so I set off to find someone else to help me. Anytime I saw a salesperson they simply looked the other way or turned around and walked the opposite direction. At this point I was irritated and met up with my husband who was equally as irritated and also offended that he was being treated like some-sort of criminal and being so closely followed around the store. We are 30-something's, well dressed and no stranger to high-end boutiques and shopping. Never have we been treated this way. We left. And we will not be returning to this Hermes store ever again. We will simply take our hefty sum of money and go spend it elsewhere. This store no longer offers the typical, luxurious Hermes shopping experience. read more

I bought a little something for myself and a bunch of leather goods for friends. This location has a vast selection for home goods, if you're big on that. This is Hermes' latest store in Paris, just opened in what used to be the Letitia Hotel's swimming pool. The company and its architects did a superb job at keeping the elements of the early 20th century pool alive (the tile floor, tile walls and metal gratings have been retained) while leveraging the space to create a multi-level store with a large, airy atrium. Unlike other Hermes stores, this location is primarily dedicated to home decor although the usual ties, scarfs, bags, belts, and occasional horse saddles can still be found. Interestingly, the store also has a florist, a bookstore (called the Chaîne d'Encre) and a tea bar with the florist being located immediately after the entrance. Truly worth a visit. read more

From the outside it looks like a Hermes home collection store, which I had never heard of before, but once you get inside, you are floored by the architecture. This location is a deceptively HUGE. I came to this location just to check out the layout of the original swimming pool. The store is very welcoming and easy to navigate. I almost prefer it to the one on Saint Honore. Not to mention, there's less of that touristy mess, so you're able to explore the store at ease! They have an extensive selection of Home Decor, with bed linens/covers and plates as the highlight on the bottom level. Fortunately, they still have a number of silk scarves and ties to sell as well, with limited quantities of leather goods. Very enjoyable just to visit, or of course, for any Hermes fan! read more

Stopped here to get a scarf as a special gift from Paris. After explaining what it was I wanted, our sales associate, Sandrine, helped me choose the perfect scarf for my mom. She also included a deck of cards that illustrates/describes different ways to wear the scarf, and perfume samples. The space inside is truly something to behold on its own. The customer service and attention to detail I received even when purchasing a scarf made me feel like a VIP. An absolutely memorable experience of Paris. read more
