Wow!!!! The staff here is amazing. I've been to the flagship store many times and yesterday was my first time at this location. The staff is friendly and goes beyond to provide excellent service. You won't go unnoticed here. It's a smaller store than the flagship. But the way everything is layed out, you can see all the items more. It appears they put out more in the show room. Whomever is decorating or displaying the store is doing an awesome job. I found items, I haven't seen before. Definitely coming back and now I have an SA to text for whenever I'm in Paris. *Huge Plus+ - The Staff can sell on all floors and not just in one department. read more

This is by far one of my favorite Hermes boutiques. There is no line outside, once inside you are greeted and queried about items that may interest you and escorted to an area where you wait for a sales associate to approach you and grant you wishes (hopefully). Once all of your wishes have been granted you will be escorted to the payment area for completion of your purchase. read more

It helps to know what you're looking for and may require coming twice- the same day or at max, same week. Regardless, make sure you love the investment. I have never felt pressured to make a purchase. I also do not take advantage of the complimentary beverages that is offered, as I have seen many do. read more

Yes their system is not ideal. You would think their sales associates would be eager to help you to get the sale... wrong. You have to work within their system. I first thought it was ridiculous. I thought "we're here to spend 10s of thousands of dollars, why are we waiting in a line". Any other store would have rolled out the red carpet. That is until I experienced the chase first hand with my wife. It's a super expensive luxury store. With the advent of ultra rich tourists buying anything and everything expensive and resellers, this system almost seems necessary. If you do your homework and follow the system, you will be rewarded. We were in Paris for 4 days. Waited on line every morning while entering their FSA raffle daily. The first day we arrived 30 minutes before store opening and found ourselves at the back of a long line. Needless to say we were unsuccessful. The second day, we arrived an hour prior to open and was 5th in line. We chatted with our sales rep. Gave him our preferences and he presented us with a Birkin. Unfortunately it was too similar to one my wife already owned. Oh well... we'll keep trying. On our last day, we were selected by the FSA system! We arrived for our appointment and had a little chat with our sales associate. My wife got a bit carried away about how she loves certain colors, leathers etc and the sales associate reciprocated her enthusiasm. The sales associate went to the back and came back with a box... she took us to a private viewing area and presented us w a rarer purse in a rarer color and size. At that point. I got it... they don't make a lot of these bags and want to make sure they go to people who would appreciate them. My wife lit up like a child on Christmas. So why is this system ok? Because we put in the work and it paid. If this bag would have gone to one of the MANY resellers Online, everyone would have been upset. Is it the ideal system? No but it works. Heck I collect sneakers and that market is completely dominated by resellers. It's not uncommon to pay 100% markups for sneakers because enthusiasts have almost no chance to purchase at retail. Went in around 5pm on a Wednesday, I was greeted and offered a cup of water, informed them I'm interested in belts, was helped within 15-20 mins of waiting, my SA was Elizaveta and she went above and beyond for me! I understand since the yellow vest protests and the summer season in Paris the store needs to be vigilant. But this is a store and brand about customer experience. Here there was nothing for me but a bad customer experience today. Even wearing Hermès items into the store was not enough to ensure them I should be viewed as a client. I was going to purchase multiple items today for myself and my friend I brought to Paris for a special visit. Instead, I was asked not to touch anything. Literally treated like a criminal. Ok well after waiting through 3 other clients for over 40 minutes and then standing alone at the counter, heaven forbid I start looking at items myself. Just another brand who will find that with this treatment people will stop spending this money. Came to the new location after it opened in Nov 2018. We got here before the store opened and as we walked in, it was cute to see all the SA's standing in a line ready to help you. The store seemed quite small compared to the other 2 in Paris, but service was wonderful. I can't remember the name of the SA that helped me but he was attentive and patient with me as I asked if they had this and that. He also gave me a handful of perfume samples as we left. read more

As a first time traveler to Paris, I went to all three Hermes locations within the city. I can say that I enjoyed George V the most despite their smallest size. I understood that stock was limited in all three stores. But unlike FSH, George V assigned one SA to one customer in the entire shopping just like in US, and although I could not get some of the things I wanted, I was able to get something which is extremely hard to get in US. This was my family and I'd first time in Paris and we were really looking forward to going here! But the experience wasn't that great. The store itself was beautiful and well organized. The staff was more than helpful. But I felt very awkward because we were followed every inch by security. I understand why they would need to have their eyes open but it was a little much. They made it very obvious they were following us, I was looking at ties and the man was right there next to me. Then I went upstairs and turned to talk to my mother and it was another security guard following right behind me. As soon as I got upstairs and looked at a coat ANOTHER guard was right there just staring at me. My other family member got so anxious that they waited outside because a security guard was at our side at all times. Great customer service that makes you feel like you are coming to just hang out with a friend :) despite the bad review, my fiancé and I had a great shopping experience with Yasmina. She was courteous and professional, but very personable. We even exchanged travel tips and she gave me some cool local advice of what to check out in Paris. Other staff from the gentleman at the door, the lady who greeted us and the cashier were all very friendly and warm. But then again, we were getting a small leather good and wasn't trying to get a birkin or Kelly so couldn't really speak to that experience which I think will be another ball game Hope to be back to get more goodies and just seeing Yasmina again in a year or two or few :) read more

Can't say that the customer service at this Hermes store was the best, but I will say that this is one of the Hermes stores where you do not need to make an appointment to take a look at bags which was very helpful. There is a waiting period when you arrive in the store so be sure to let the customer service rep know that you are waiting. It was roughly a 20 minute wait prior to being helped. Because they did not have the bag I was looking for, I proceeded to shop for accessories. I really feel like until I made the decision to purchase something, the service was a bit on the colder side. Then again, it could have been the rep's genuine character. Nonetheless, he began to open up after I made a decision to purchase a bracelet which he clipped my skin when putting it on -.- Still, always happy with the Hermes purchases of course - never anything against the brand! read more

I came to Paris in part to celebrate my honeymoon and babymoon with my wife. Since my wife is soon to be providing me with a beautiful girl, it is only fair that I provide her with something special to commemorate our first child. As anyone with "certain" tastes know, there are a couple of handbags from Hermes that trump all others (LV, Chanel, Gucci, Fendi, even Chanel). In order to get these bags, you MUST make an appointment. You cannot just walk-in and expect to get one; you will be told they do not have it. The usual way is an online system that is effectively a lottery. If you're lucky, you will get an appointment. However, once you get an appointment, there will be a high degree of luck as to whether or not they will CHOOSE to show you a product that you will actually want to buy (again, THEY choose what to show you, not YOU choose). I was staying at the Prince de Galle, the highest ranked Marriott/SPG/Bonvoy property in Paris. Quite simply... it's a baller hotel. Also, the hotel is ACROSS THE STREET from this location, so I was convinced that the hotel had some sort of relationship with the store. I asked our concierge, Alexandre Malfatti, to call the store to make an appointment (never forget to tip your concierge when they pull strings for you). My thesis was vindicated as he informed me their contact at the store is Charlotte, who in essence is a manager. (her title is "Responsible Experience Client"). We received a 4 PM appointment the following day. Upon entering the store we greeted by Charlotte herself. My wife and I enthusiastically thanked Charlotte for seeing us and I again relayed how much I wanted something special for my wife (who by the way is 7 months pregnant). Charlotte replied that they were expecting us and asked us to browse the store until a SA (sales associate) was available. After 10 minutes of browsing belts for my brother in law, a wonderful young SA named Clothilde asked us how she could help us. I informed her which bags, color, sizes we were looking for and she responded that she will check to see what they might have for us. After going to "check their inventory", she returned and asked us to follow her upstairs. Upon reaching this room she asked us if we wanted anything to drink. I replied "Whiskey? I wish to be very drunk if I'm to spend what I think I'm about to spend here." Unfortunately for me, I had to settle for champagne. Fortunately for my wife, Clothilde showed us an amazing bag that I had no choice but to purchase for the Mrs =) Our friends who were also able to snag an appointment at the flagship store did manage to score a bag, but were extremely frustrated by the upsell/sidesell/bait & switch tactics of their SA, until they were able to be "offered" a bag (initially they were offered a BACKPACK for heaven's sake). Know the rules, play nice, be gracious, and you will have a wonderful experience at this Hermes Store. Act the "ugly American", you will get the "snobby French". read more

This is a much calmer location than Faubourg (sp?) Saint Honore. It's a smaller selection than St. Honore, but it's fewer tourists. Hermes loyallists and Parisians choose this location over the other 2 given this. I found that the sales people were friendlier, less haughty and more patient here than at St. Honore or the other location. FYI, estimated prices on scarves (which are not posted online): 320 euros for Silk 90 (traditional, more patterns) 245 euros for Silk 70 (smaller, fewer patterns) 150 euros for Silk Twilly VAT savings are 10% for Hermes. This location was out of Birkins and Kellys during the holidays. Not sure if that's just the stock answer to the general public. read more

I would do zero stars if possible. Our first stop to shop in Paris. We have waited for years for to experience Hermès in Paris. My husband who is a designer was as well excited to see the interior in addition to the watches. After a walk through he stopped to use the bathroom before we got down to the watches and we were actually followed by security. I personally was surrounded by 3 of them and was asked if I was ok. First time we were there the gentleman was very nice. We were upstairs and he offer us a seat but the other women came over and told us they are selling those chairs so we should not seat there. I told her the gentleman offered us to seat there and then she said oh sure that's fine. But if I want to buy the chair how would I buy something without trying first. Oh wait.. That's Hermes. My husband and I came to this store after unsuccessful online booking at their flagship store last week. Long story short, I left with a BIRKIN and a couple of other beautiful small items. First, don't expect to be able to tell who works there. Second, expect to be completely ignored by the staff. I would like to commend the service rendered to me by Terence at the Avenue George V in Paris this past August. He was so kind and helpful in making my wedding anniversary gift possible. Prior to him helping me, I approached another SA and asked for a particular bag which she quickly said was out of stock as I came in the afternoon and should have come in the morning. She did not even check in the system or in the back if it was actually out of stock or not. Somehow I felt that I was brushed off too quickly and so I approached another SA which happened to be Terence. He actually checked if it was available and it was, and so I happily purchased it. He treated me respectfully and I felt like he really wanted to make my anniversary special. You are very fortunate to have him in your team and next time I'm in Paris, I will gladly purchase from him again! Magical moment at Hermes on George V. I had a wonderful experience at your George V store. I noticed a man steaming a hat for a customer to try on. When I expressed an interest in what he was doing a Hermes gentleman service assistant shared with me at length the history and purpose of steaming and fitting such hats. I was so touched and warmed by his generosity of time & knowledge. I felt like he allowed me to be a part of the authentic Hermes experience. What a delight! Then the staff had no idea if the product was in stock and was GREATLY ANNOYED TO LOOK and see if they did so that it could be purchased. We attempted to purchase 2 items.
