I had a great experience at this location even though I didn't buy anything. The staff were all so friendly and kept checking in on me and apologizing that the wait time was long and kept thanking me for my patience. In all honesty, I waited maybe about 15 minutes which I don't even think was that long. It gave me enough time to look through the beautiful store. Every product was elegantly displayed. When I was assigned an SA, she showed me the bags I wanted to look at, gave me style tips, and recommendations on how to take care of the leather. Xie at Louis Vuitton was the best sales associate. I was in Paris with my daughter on a milestone celebration trip-a very short trip to celebrate her achievements, birthday and entry into university. We made our appointment weeks in advance to make sure we had time to shop. Xie really took care of us. Me, "nothing for me, just my daughter." We had champagne and Xie was patient. So many items were no longer available. I wanted a Fanny pack and a fine piece of jewelry for my daughter. The manager noticed my Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume ring. Of course! 15 years old. (MJ was creative director of Louis Vuitton 1997-2014, he truly enhanced LV's relevance and stature with collaborations of Stephen Sprouts and T. The bag I was interested in wasn't available there, but she wasted no time in having it transported from another store. She also helped me with purchasing a bottle of perfume. I stopped in with my wife to inquire of a Neverfull bag without an appointment and the doorman and doorwoman was more than helpful in directing us to a sales assistant and allowing us to browse the store and enjoy a beverage while we waited. After a short waiting period due to other customers in front of us, the salesperson "Karen" was very pleasant and helpful. She brought out the bag in two different sizes and styles and helped my wife style the bag and demonstrate how to enlarge and make it smaller with the accessories. She was also very patient in making such a purchase. I highly recommend this store in Paris if you know what you want and haven't made an appointment and they can check what's in stock. This location is likely the smallest Louis Vuitton store I have been to, but they have a lot in the store that just isn't on display. I would definitely recommend going in with a list of what you want instead of window shopping in the store. Also, look at the french Louis Vuitton website instead of the US site, as the prices are hundreds less (even when considering the currency exchange). Be prepared to know if you want your credit card charged as euros or dollars. I bought several items, including a limited edition of the Neverfull bag, which I had personalized. The personalization only took about 20 minutes or so. Between shopping, thinking about what I want, drinking champagne, VAT paperwork, and personalization I was in the store about 2.5 hours. Think of it as an experience rather than just another store. I went to this location twice in my week long trip in order to return a wallet. During the first visit the male SA told me that I could return anything for any reason and have my credit card refunded. He was wrong, as I soon found out. The return policy is very different from the US return policy (which is pretty liberal). If you buy in Europe, it is essentially store credit only. So be sure of what you want! Instead I exchanged for a wallet that I am still happy with to this day. All in all, I had a positive experience at this location and plan on going back to this location in my future trips. read more

They also brought us espressos and sweets as we waited. We went back with friends and asked for her again. She helped them pick their purses and wallets too. She was great. Between four of us, and in the hundred or so minutes we were in this place (seriously), we managed to buy more things (mostly gifts, natch) than one can count using one's fingers. Well, unless one happens to be the six-fingered man from the Princess Bride. I know what you're thinking--inconceivable! If the first classic blunder is "never get involved in a land war with Asia," only slightly less well-known is this: "never go to a Louis Vuitton with one of the female species." Let alone two. After making stops at the various sights (i.e., dessert tastings at Pierre Herme and Laduree), we made our way back to LV to pick up the purchases. Our saleslady had mysteriously vanished--I imagined she picked up more than enough commission on the day. This is a smaller location compared to the very popular one on the Champs-Élysées, but still very nice. They have most of the items one would expect to find for both men and women. The service here was excellent and I really appreciated how helpful and pleasant everyone was. One of the best things about this location is that it is also has a Louis Vuitton stationary store, the only one in the world! Definitely worth checking out. read more

This review is for a wonderful day of shopping in October. My friend and I decided to stop by for a browse and ended up with several purchases and the best salesperson we could have asked for. Siene was so patient and fun to work with and kept saying he had another surprise for us. The surprises were another great bag or accessory or shoes and finally coats. Yes this location is small and there isn't much in regards to the layout or stock, don't expect it to be like the one on Champs Elysee or in Galerie Lafeyette... they don't exactly have any of the new items in stock either but they can get it for you. My wife and I had the worst experience we have ever had in a retail store at this location. All she wanted was a pair of shoes and she didn't even need to try them on. We arrived 10 minutes before closing and asked for the size. The salesperson said they have them but the cash registers have been closed out. Apparently they all wanted to leave early... We looked over and a clerk was checking out another customer, so apparently they hadn't closed out the registers. When we asked why they aren't honoring the posted store hours, the claim was security reasons and this was followed by a disparaging remark about protesters, which there were none. Not only was this unprofessional, but it simply had no bearing, and it's not like they are are any more or less secure than they were 5 minutes earlier. However, we put on hold and decided to come back the next day.... It only gets worse from here. The next day we returned and the store was nearly empty with only about 5 customers. The store was filled with employees, but apparently none of them are salespeople. There were 3 to 4 security guards, there was someone who only does embossing, there were two employees conversing at the register, there was a woman in a red scarf whose sole job was to apparently route customers to someone else, there was a gentleman that serves champagne but isn't empowered to do anything else, and there was another woman walking back and forth with paperwork. All told there was close to a dozen people, none of which could provide basic customer service. The shoes were on hold. We just needed to pay fo them. That's it. After seeking out several employees, we were directed to put our name on the list, which we did. We waited 20 more minutes and still no service. We asked again and we were told that nobody is working shoes today. Great, but what does that mean fo us as a customer?!! Asking again for help with another employee, we were told to put our name on the list. We are already on the list and that seems to make no difference! After several more minutes, we finally got up and walked out. Not only did LV lose a sale, but it lost a customer. The staff was completely unhelpful and ZERO customer focus was demonstrated. We were treated as if it was our privilege to buy. I would even call it customer antagonistic. All these people doing NOTHING and not one of them can help. After striking out on two consecutive visits, I am convinced the staff at this location should be fired. Shame on LV and shame on the staff at this store. read more

Love LV and this one didn't disappoint. The location is alot smaller than Champs Elysees but there is still a ton of stuff. If you're looking for something to do on a Sunday when most retail stores are closed, then I highly recommend checking this location out! We were sent here because they put on hold a highly sought -after bag for us. The associates gave us some champagne and wine while we waited... And that was at 10am in the morning. My favorite LV store in Paris. Everyone I came across at this location was so helpful and sweet. This is the store you need to come to if you're looking for the real luxury shopping experience. All the other stores are so crowded it ruins the experience... there's too many people window shopping at the popular locations so if it's your first time buying at LV you may not notice a huge issue but here in CA never did I have to wait in line for hours to spend thousands on a purse. read more

Exhausted and jet-lagged, I came in when I did, because my hotel room wasn't ready and I wanted something to do besides sitting around & waiting. I must have looked like a drowned rat - I certainly felt like one; yet my charming sales lady treated me like royalty. First I'm given a seat, a cup of delicious coffee, a chocolate; as the purse I've selected is brought out, along with the 5 Pouchette's for holiday gifts. The VAT form is filled out for me and I'm told exactly what I'll need to do when leaving Paris and checking in at CDG. Everything is so simple, so very easy, and my purchases are so expertly wrapped, it'll be a shame for me and my recipients of the Pouchette's to have to open their packages. While the price at Louis Vuitton errs on the side of very expensive, the treatment and service one receives while shopping at the store cannot be beat anywhere on the planet. People were stopping in, asking staff questions, and they, too, were treated so kindly and professionally. If I had my way, and a bottomless budget, this LV would be the only store I ever shopped at to buy my accessories, leather goods, shoes and gifts. read more

As usual, when you go into LV you step into the world of luxury. This boutique is small albeit beautiful, and service is definitely much better than at the flagship store on the champs elysees. I knew what I was coming to get and they had me in and out in a matter of 15 minutes or less, without at any point rushing me. I wasn't here to browse or shop around - I was on a mission to pick up something for a friend, and I really appreciate being able to get in and get out. At the champs elysees location, they have you waiting around for a good hour or two when you make a purchase. Any who, this place is NOT thronged by tourist, and that's what makes it special. Granted, I came here on a Tuesday morning off-season in February, but the boutique was calm and quiet. I was given a warm welcome by Yasuko, who was very polite and helpful. I must admit, I was a little confused trying to find the place, since I was used to its 6 boulevard saint germain location. Turns out, they have temporarily relocated to 174 boulevard saint germain while the other shop (just seconds away) undergoes renovations. No prob finding this boutique at all, because the original location had a huge sign clearly pointing us in this shop's location with the address. This location is very central. But my sales lady was not very polite. She didn't offer us any drinks. We bought close to $1000 worth of things and was going to purchase about 3x even more but they were sold out. She said she might get some of the other items in the next day and would call me when she came in at noon to let me either way if the items came in or not. I didn't not receive a phone call/email/text. I felt she was put out of her way and the customer service or "experience" of buying a bag in Paris was not at all as I hoped. Very nice store. Service was strong yet the selection wasn't as good as the flagship store as the overall size of this boutique was 1/4 of the size.
