What an absolutely beautiful flagship! I've been to Paris a few times, and each time ends up stopping here to pick up items for my family... they are huge fans. I do have a few of their SLGs. This time, it's a shopping experience for my sister and she found her splurge gifts. Happy for her bc what's a Paris trip w/o gifts? lol The selection is amazing, but being the flagship... some small items were out of stock, especially new drops and in popular colors. You get better prices here in Paris than at home, the VAT will add to that saving. The service was amazing! I forgot his name but he was funny and charming. They will queue you up to the next sales associate and you just need to wait a few minutes, and get yourself a glass of sparkling water!
Amazing flagship store. There is a little wait outside as is the case in all the luxury boutiques worldwide but once inside, one is blown away by the decorative efforts and design. The store is huge and opulent. When we were installed in confortable sofas, we were served excellent champagne while we waited for our sales assistant. We knew what we wanted and we were presented the leather piece without leaving our seat. Can't have it better. Even the payment is organized sofa side! Never seen anything like it. What an experience! PS Don't forget to fill in the tax free paperwork. It's a breeze to get reimbursed at the airport.
I love LV. Lifelong customer for sure. Are they expensive? Sure. Is their quality and customer service exquisite? Absolutely. This location is their original storefront! They took good care of us during our appointment. We never felt rushed. It was an amazing experience! Namaste!
Strangely, aside from the old historic locations to view in Paris, this Louis Vuitton attraction was on the top of the list for the wife. The exterior structure was a replica of a silver Louis Vuitton trunk which will soon be a magnificent LV hotel. No appointment required to enter the showroom but we waited in a line outside for twenty minutes. The two story showroom was an amazing sight with an array of LV purses, luggage and clothing. The wife was seconds from buying a $4,000 purse, I escaped that one.
Yes, had to see one of my favorite stores in the world. Louis Vuitton! Especially in Paris. We had to wait in a short line, but didn't take long before we are inside. I was surprised the associates were not on top of us like at home. They had every bag and accessory you can imagine available. I was told you get more for your money when you pay cash and then claim it at the airport. We worked out the price of a bag and could save about $600 if purchased. I wasn't on the hunt for anything in particular so passed up the chance to buy in Paris. I did have fun looking at all the item on the many stories of this large store while siping on a complementary glass of champagne.
Went to the store on Tuesday but forgot my passport. Returned Thursday to pick up a hat and a pair of shoes. Waited close to an hour and no one would help. Store was busy so didn't mind waiting. Eventually the manager, Eury, came over and said I would be next. I thanked him and informed him I knew what I wanted and just needed to check out. A couple came in after us and suddenly we became next next. This obviously angered me. Apparently they're not interested in my business so I'll take it elsewhere. Guess the random couple who came in to try stuff on was more important than a guaranteed sale. When I asked Eury for his card he claimed not to have one. Not sure if this is the correct spelling of his name or not. I don't know if was dismissed for being an American, being dressed casually, or being black. Regardless it was not a good experience. Je suis allé au magasin mardi mais j'avais oublié mon passeport. Je suis revenu jeudi pour acheter un chapeau et une paire de chaussures. J'ai attendu près d'une heure et personne ne voulait m'aider. Quand j'ai demandé la carte de visite d'Eury, il a prétendu ne pas en avoir. Je ne suis d'ailleurs pas certain que ce soit la bonne orthographe de son nom. Je ne sais pas si j'ai été ignoré parce que j'étais Américain, habillé de façon décontractée, ou parce que j'étais noir. Quoi qu'il en soit, ce n'était pas une bonne expérience.
Our shopping assistant Nadia (5 stars) did an amazing job helping us find just what we needed! Such a wide selection of items, at a lower price tag than the US. Only 3 stars because when we were taken upstairs to personalize our items, the room was hot and they refused to bring us water despite asking multiple times while we waited over an hour to have our passports covers stamped.
While strolling along the Champs-Elysees, we stopped in to purchase sunglasses and perfume. Initially, we were going to turn around because of the line of people. The line outside was long, but based on what we were purchasing, we were allowed to go inside after about a five minute or less wait. The store was typical LV, but on a much grander scale. The place was a little bit of maze in my opinion. It took a few minutes to find our way around. It was relatively crowded inside and outside, but the checkout process was simple and efficient. Since it was a structured visit, it was a pretty quick visit with the exception of taking a little more time to sample other fragrances and sunglasses. The interior and exterior of the store were beautiful. I will definitely visit again.
Who knew there was this amazing Louis Vuitton café tucked away above the LV Dream exhibition? Walking in felt like stepping into a chic, tropical oasis, right above the Seine; this building is pure Parisian luxury. The pastries are all stunning to look at and all just as delicious, especially paired with a rich espresso. Prices are luxuriously high, like 6-11 euro for coffee, 16+euro for signature cakes, and seating isn't reserved, so finding a spot quickly isn't guaranteed. For fans of Louis Vuitton, the experience is both beautiful and indulgent.
We came here to buy a gift for Bae's mom. Ulysses helped us out. He was fluent in English and was able to provide excellent service. He was very patient with us as we went through multiple purses. He was able to help us find a specific bag that was the last one in stock. Very thankful. The one we got was about $2,350 with two tone brown. First time for me to be in such an expensive spot. I think Yes lol So the prices for Louis Vuitton are always high, because it is high end fashion items. But the prices seemed steep for the norm. I don't know. Maybe I am just a dumb American and don't know pricing in Europe? But I expected priced to be lower not higher. It seemed like the prices were more than what they should be. Did inflation hit Europe too? What's happening here? I just window shopped. I'm not gonna spend 4k for a small bag. No thanks. lol It was still fun to check out the bags and wallets. This store is really big! There are different floors and everything. If you are wanting to buy something Louis Vuitton, you will surely find it here! No way you couldn't. They have a huge selection.
LV is the standard for high end merchandise. With their signature bags to all their accessories, LV has always commanded a high value for their items. Since Covid they have nearly doubled the price. A bag that cost $1800 in 2019 is now priced at $3200. This store is their flagship store in Paris. It is a 7 story monolith to LV and is wonder to see. The bottom 3 floors are open to the public. The rest are reserved for other business purposes. The selection they offer is varied from day-to-day. They carry nearly 80% of the items that are in their catalog but due to the sheer volume and space they only show about 40% of them. The services is impeccable if you can find a sales person. When you arrive, you'll be greeted by sales manager. He will usually let you walk the store or assign you a sales person. The sales person's job is to speak with you and understand your needs so that they can provide you with different options. They don't have every bag in every color, so be prepared. I witnessed many people disappointed. If you go in here with an open mind, you might find something very unique. In general, it's just an amazing store to visit to enjoy the product selection.
We attended LV Dream (free, but you need reservations) and my style-crazed teen had to get a pastry with a Vuitton logo on it, OK buddy, this is for you. The pastry was like 19 euros but his cappuccino did have a logo stenciled on it. My pot of tea was a fail. 9 euros and they give you a tea bag on the side with a pot of hot water? Seriously? This place is ONLY for Instagramming, not for a meaningful culinary experience.
Quality/Quantity - Flag ship store; make an appointment if possible. Otherwise you will have to wait in the long line. BTW - We also visited LV Dream; another must visit. Hotel coming soon. If you are following, you know that this is not really my brand, but that did not stop me from over buying... I needed a belt, but ended up buying... And I guess I/we have expensive taste, as we ended up buying the most expensive belt out of the 4 choices I liked. I might go back tomorrow for a shirt. And of course, my wife got some shopping done also. When in France... See pictures. Ambiance - Decent size location, I mean this is the flag ship location. The men's section was one of the largest I have seen with this brand, so this is where I spent the majority of my time. Service - The team is so professional and experienced. Gave us soda and juice while we shopped. Too early for champagne. Price - Expensive. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1854 and with all your acquisitions. I have not been a customer for a while, but when in France... Don't worry, my wife and daughter are loyal customers! Service always improves when they discover we are loyal customers, lol. read more

Viva la France ! I finally made it back to where my LVMH career started and what an amazing day it was to dine at the LV cafe, get VIP service and purchase a few beautiful pieces from the new summer collection. we shopped pieces from the summer collection and got my mini a few travel pieces and a matching handbag. We added the customization to each of our pieces and stamped our LV passport holders. We may have to come back before our summer holiday in Europe ends. read more
How can you come to Paris the Mecca of fashion and not stop to shop at Louis Vuitton! Our hotel is right by all the shopping your heart desires , but we are truly here to admire the city. Getting back to Louis. This store has everything Louie as well as hard to find pieces you cannot get at other stores or on line . Yes it's a shoppers dream . There's a small line at the door and a good amount of security around ! From the first minute you walk in you're greeted and asked what you are looking for. Offered something to drink and then assist you to find your purchase. From there it's just all about finding the right fit for you ! Another fantastic shopping experience! Book a date and time with your sales advisor in advance and skip the whole line. Of note, you only get 12% back as a VAT refund (not the full 20% as others have written in their reviews). Be sure to bring your passport and allow extra time at the airport to complete the process. The company that processes the VAT refunds takes a cut of your refund. It's still an amazing deal vs the US, though! We found almost everything we were looking for plus a few items we didn't even know about. Definitely visit here if you're visiting and a fan of LV! read more

Waited 1 hour and 10 minutes in the light rain on a Tuesday afternoon. The workers were kind enough to offer black umbrellas while we stood outside waiting to get inside. This is the flagship store and is the store that is next to the LV hotel that is currently being built. It is 4 stories and they offer selections of LV that other stores do not have. Out sales consultant was named Emma and she was amazing. She walked us through everything that we wanted to see. She was funny, patient, fluent in multiple languages, and never tried to force/upsell any items. She was attentive and really listened and valued our input. We ended up with a few items and she assisted with the tax free paper forms as well. read more

From start to finish we were taken care of with such kindness. Typically when going into a designer store I go in and browse for a while and do not find what I need or get the service I hope for. We were helped by a young man named Paul and he was incredibly helpful throughout my whole time browsing through the store. From finding certain types of jewelry or different sizes in shoes, Paul was helpful every step of the way. 100/10 would go back as long as Paul is working there read more

First time in Paris on a spontaneous trip that me and friend decided on, we wanted to take advantage of the lower prices compared to US and entered the LV store and was helped mainly by Mickael and later two other lovely staff members. This was my first time actually going inside a designer store as I've always bought online, I can't put into words how above and beyond Mickael and the other staff members went for me and my friend, the experience itself was magical to say the least. I told him that going forward I would not be able to enter a designer store since I know I won't expect that type of customer service, extremely patient with showing us the whole store, asking what we were looking for and helping us decide, overall I would highly recommend the store and will certainly try to be coming back myself to purchase more items! read more

If you are a Louis Vuitton fan then this is the Mecca of LV on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. I have been to this location on many occasions and each time the service, selection, customer and experience is impeccable. When you walk up to the Louis Vuitton store, it's like you're walking into a modern museum with the decor to rival many high end brand designers. There will always be a queue outside of the store but the door attendant and staff do a great job in moving the line along When you enter, you have truly entered into Louis Vuitton heaven with 5 floors of luxury and everything LV imaginable. It's a wise idea to know ahead of time what you're looking for and to know if they have it in stock. This will save you time. As a US visitor or non EU resident, you're eligible to receive a VAT refund of 20%. In my case I was able to buy an item for $500 less than in the United States and then get an additional 20% off. This location is constantly busy but and the customer service was impeccable and everything you'd expect from their flagship store. A word of caution, because LV never goes on sale, be careful not to break your wallet because you can easily drop thousands of dollars in less than an hour since the prices are much lower here than in the United States. I've been in love with this company ever since the 80's when I was still in grade school and jobless, LOL. I saved my allowance and bought a few pieces, all from the Ala Moana Center location in Honolulu, HI. Of course I had to at least peek inside this flagship store when we were in Paris!? Was I going to purchase anything? Of course not. Why would I when the Euro was about 1.5 times higher than the US Dollar? I can buy it back home on Maui for less. We were walking around the famed Champs-Élysées and came upon this behemoth of a "boutique". My gawd, it's an entire building. It takes up and entire city block on all four sides. It's six or seven levels high. It looks like a department store, bank, museum, and corporate HQ all-in-one. Naturally there was a line to get inside, full of curious people like myself. Once inside, it was simply gorgeous. Soaring high ceilings, beautiful decor, inventory as far as the eye could see, and of course that smell of fake leather, real leather and richness, LOL. I'm not sure what was on the upper levels (probably offices) as we didn't stay long because we were in Paris for crying out loud! So much more to see... My dream is to own a vintage trunk just to display and gawk at. Anyone got $25K laying around? read more

Shopping in paris for my first Louis Vuitton bag...is this real life? Ive been reading about the bad reviews of the long waits but we lucked out and the queue was about...15 minutes? On a Saturday at 4pm...so that was great. The line seemed long, but went pretty quick The workers there are pretty attentive. Offered drinks once someone got their hooks into you. Very patient as you look through everything. Comparing prices. Granted I'm going to be spending that much money and didn't want to just buy anything, the worker was very patient and helpful as he chatted up my bf. If there's something you want and they dont have, they can order it...but given it's the flagship store, they'll most likely have a lot of the options In the end as you check out, they help you with your VAT forms that you just drop off at the airport when you leave the UK to get some of your taxes you paid back...just make sure to have your passport with you (or for any purchases you do in Europe and want VAT return...you need your passport) I'd highly recommending purchasing a LV this way if you're every in paris and want a LV product. When in Paris visit Louis Vuitton. And visit this location in Champs-Elysées. And if possible get Imen (employee's name) to assist you. So I have been to Paris a couple of times in the past few years and no trip is done until I stop and shop here. Why I love this location so much: - Service is always phenomenal and over the top amazing. Imen knew I wanted a specific color combination for a crossbody. This location had sold out of it and she was able to get it delivered from another location for me. - This is their flagship store and has the most variety I have seen. They have their merchandise showcased in the most season appropriate manner. I love merchandising windows that bring out a story and this store never disappoints. And therefore so many tourists take photos with the outside windows of product. - Price also makes me want to shop in this location compared to U.S. VAT refund is awesome. 12 percent off in credit card is awesome reduction in price. **^I already know that I will be making a trip to LV in Paris next year. ~ read more

Absolutely terrible service after spending thousands of dollars here. I waited in line outside in the cold for over an hour and when I got inside, I had to wait about 20 more minutes for an advisor. I didn't mind the wait because I understand it was pretty busy. I finally got to an advisor and they didn't have the bag I wanted. I wanted her to give me recommendations that were similar to that style or any styles that were timeless/classic. She showed me a bag that was a size bigger than the one I wanted. She also tried showing me another bag, but she couldn't find it. I'm not sure why they make the advisors look for the bag when there are stock people. Seemed very unorganized. I also wanted to compare the different sizes of the bag (the one she gave me and the one I wanted) and 4-5 workers started freaking out, saying I couldn't touch the display. First of all, if you don't want people to touch the display, put a sign saying, "DO NOT TOUCH." Second of all, I was going to buy one of the bags I was checking out anyway. I just wanted to see the size comparison. The advisor was not there to help me look at it because she was trying to look for the other bag. Extremely rude service. I went to Chanel the other day and everyone was super friendly. They let me touch and even try on the bags. Service here versus Chanel is like night and day. I guess I expected top notch service like Chanel gave me, so I was quite disappointed. The Louis Vuitton back home gives better service than here too. I don't know if it's because of the way I was dressed? Felt extremely discriminated here. Wasn't even offered water after making a $5000+ purchase. I felt like I was shopping at a Forever21 and not a high end store lol. I also wanted them to hold my items at the store after I paid because I was going to travel around Europe. At this point, I wasn't even surprised when the advisor told me they don't offer this service. She said this is a "buy and sell store" or something like that. Interesting how Chanel gladly held my items for me with no issues at all. Chanel showed me what a high end store service should be like and then I come to this poor Louis Vuitton location. After reading Misti E.'s review, I definitely think they were discriminating me based on the way I was dressed. I was actually dressed in warm clothes, so they were not the nicest. I was expecting to be waiting outside in the cold so I needed to dress warm. I've been in sales for most of my life, so I know better than to discriminate customers based on what they wear. Now I really wish I spent my money elsewhere. read more

If you are thinking of buying some from Louis and you're in Paris, then this location is the place to do so. Not only is it huge, but they have a large amount of reps working. Had to wait roughly about 15-20 minutes to get inside, but the wait was worth it. Biggest recommendation is to bring your passport. If you don't no worries, you can place a reservation on your order (Which is what my fiancé did). I took my fiancé to Louis to see what they had, and spoil her with an engagement gift. The service and attention we received was outstanding. We were offered drinks, and they brought all the handbags/purses my fiancé requested without any hesitation. Liked I mentioned before we had to come back the next day with my passport so I can get my VAT refund form. Came in, looked around, and my fiance decided to go with her original decision. Our representative did ask her if she wanted her wallet embroidered. Took less than 5 minutes and came out exactly the way she wanted. Cherry on top is that her bag was 30-40% cheaper than buying in the US. read more

FUN FACT: (you may or may not know) Contrary to popular belief, the monogram LV print is not "the original" or "classic print" the Damier ebene or brown checkered print is; and it was not designed by Louis Vuitton himself. It was actually designed by his son, Georges. Louis had know knowledge of the LV monogram print whatsoever. People think the brown checkered print is newer because production of the print stopped for 60 years and production of the print began again in the 90's. Thanks to my sales associate Raphael I am more knowledgeable in the brand. After waiting a while to get helped by the floor manager assigned him to me. He was very helpful in getting the items I wanted in the different possible prints and colors without problems. He also brought out other pieces (you know sales tactic) to entice me to buy them. Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't. I ended up walking away with a never full, daily pouch, and a pocket organizer. He packed up my goodies and also offered hot stamp personalization on my items. I have never done it so I absolutely said yes. We went to the hot stamp area where you get to select the size, color, placement and of course letters you want on your new fabulous piece. The best part is they do it right there in front of you. I have heard stories where you are required to wait a week until you get this done at other LV locations. read more
