I had my hair colored and cut about a week ago by Norman. I don't know how to describe it..... It's kinda like the day after you buy a car you really love, you wake up the next morning excited and hope it wasn't a dream ... It wasn't. I wake up each day in disbelief this is actually my hair. The girls at work are still stopping me mid sentences and say .. and I quote, " I'm sorry, I don't mean to stare, but I'm in love with your hair. Girl, that color!" (it's a beautiful dark, dark red) Also, he didn't attempt to sell me anything. That is a huge change from most other salons. And the neck and head massage... awesome... Norman is super nice and knows exactly what he is doing.. and that's magic.

I struggled finding someone to cut my hair the way I liked from my former stylist. Additionally, for personal reasons, I enjoy a 1 on 1 experience as opposed to a place where everyone waiting can see you, though sometimes there is another customer just waiting on something to dry. It's a building that hosts multiple stylists, but I personally sign up with Jessica Jones. Not only is she amazing in her craft, she has the name of a super hero! I've always been satisfied with my hair cuts and the conversations with her are genuine. I have to drive from Nashville to Smyrna, which is a 20 minute drive without traffic, but I find it worth it for the perfect cut.

I'll definitely be back and plan to try some of the other things they offer, like facials.

Housed in an historic building in downtown Nolensville, this salon -- and of course the people who…read morework here - are charming and welcoming. There's definitely an ambiance of Southern hospitality! My stylist (Amber) not only found a way to cut through my overgrown sheepdog mop of hair, she managed to pretty much replicate the style in the photo that I brought in for guidance. So yeah, I liked the haircut a lot. More importantly, my wife thought it looked good. I appreciated Amber's good humor, her attention to detail, as well as the hot towel treatment and scalp massage she administered while washing my hair after the cut. I felt like the cut was excellent value for the money (men's cuts start at $25, women's cuts starts at $40, per the salon's website). My only quibble? It would be nice if there were a coat closet or rack or something in the waiting room so that customers don't have to try to hang winter coats on small hooks next to the styling tables. I did like the fact that there was both hot coffee and cucumber water on offer in the waiting room, although I did not have a chance to try either. Overall, this salon is a great addition to a burgeoning downtown Nolensville scene (and just a hop, skip and jump from quality meat-and-three cuisine at Nana's, where I'll be trying the catfish on my next visit thanks to Amber's recommendation).
