I should have written this review long ago, but I've had so many positive experiences that I wanted to take my time to share them properly. I moved to Nashville 3.5 years ago and discovered Randi-Rae through a Google search when she was at another salon, before she opened Melted. It was hair-love at first sight, and I rarely trust anyone with it. After only a couple of visits, I received a message that she was opening her own salon, Melted, and it was a no-brainer to follow her. Right before my engagement photos and wedding, I decided to change my hair color (bold moves, I know), and both times it turned out even better than I had imagined. Every visit since then has been just as amazing. Randi-Rae takes the time to understand your hair goals and gives honest feedback. If she thinks something won't work as you envision, she won't let you waste your money. She becomes your instant best friend the moment you sit in her chair. All of the girls at Melted are like that. I would trust any of them, which is saying a lot for me. They become your biggest cheerleaders, and you leave the salon feeling like a supermodel! I've been using Randi-Rae's services since 2021, and I can't recommend her enough! I originally chose her because of her expertise with hair color, specifically reds and coppers, and she did not disappoint. I do red/copper hair, and her color work is always stunning. Over the years, I've had different lengths of extensions, but I usually go for longer ones. Her extension technique is incredible, and it truly transformed my hair. I first started getting extensions due to an alopecia episode caused by stress, and Randi-Rae's work helped me regain the volume and confidence I had lost. What sets Randi-Rae apart is not just her skill but her passion and attention to detail. I completely trust her and her amazing team with my hair. Melted has the best salon professionals around. I just moved into area a year ago, found outstanding reviews online. Easy to schedule an appointment online. I needed a hair coloring fix. Randi Ray reached out to schedule a consult asked questions to see what it was I was truly wanting. She wanted to know exactly what I wanted out of my results. She scheduled me for my color appointment and the results were better than imagined. That sealed the deal for me. She is the only person I go to now. Everyone at Melted makes you feel so welcome! I can't recommend her enough. Since coloring takes wait time, I've also watched these girls put in beautiful hair extensions on ladies that you have a hard time knowing they are extensions. Hands down, the best salon. I started going to Randi Rae in 2022. I had never had extensions so I had no idea what to expect. When I walked in, there was a lady finishing up her appointment that had driven from East Nashville down to Franklin for Randi. I remember thinking, "Man I must be in good hands. There are several stylist between Nashville and here and this lady makes the drive." Boy was I right. Randi is amazing all around. I challenge anyone to find a stylist that has more drive, knowledge of the hair industry, and talent than her. All of her stylist match her qualities as well. I saw Sarah at Melted and y'all!! I will always be coming back. She is so kind and I am obsessed with my hair. She got me all set up with R+CO so my hair would stay looking perfect! I got the blondest and it was perfect! She was super efficient and time flew by!! Getting my hair done by her felt like catching up with an old friend which was such a great treat after a very opposite experience at another hair salon recently. The quaint studio houses lots of hairstylists that are so kind and passionate about their work!! Last week I messaged Melted to see about getting an appt for a special they were advertising. I got the appt scheduled with a young lady by the name of Kate. When I came in I asked her if she could turn this ugly duckling of hair into decent swan hair, she was a miracle worker!! Well after 3 hrs, several tubes of black (I wanted all one color), hair mask, detoxing, scalp massage, trim, blowout and curling of hair...I HAD BEAUTIFUL SWAN HAIR!! But the even best part is that she had me laughing and we talked about old movies like from the 50's and 60's! Best hairdresser I have ever had!! Thank you Kate!! read more

I received the blondest service! It was a full head of foils, tip-out of the ends of your hair, Olaplex/K18, shadow root/gloss, dusting, blow dry & style out. since it was my first service I had a consultation which was super helpful on making sure I understood what the service would do, and so Sarah new what I want and what my goals were for my hair. The actually appointment was amazing! Sarah was super sweet and talkative. The salon was super nice and pretty, and the other stylist were friendly! I can't wait for my next appointment! read more

I've been seeing Sarah at Melted Salon for highlights and just recently tried extensions, and I honestly can't recommend her enough. She's incredibly thorough and talented. My hair was so damaged and she's been helping me get it back healthy and honestly my hair has never looked better! She truly cares about her work and her clients. When I found Chloe at Melted, my hair was way over processed, damaged and quite literally falling out. I've been going to melted for two years (since I moved to Nashville) and won't be going anywhere else. I get my extensions done there and people are shocked when they find out I have extensions. My hair is also not even slightly damaged when I get the extensions removed. If anything my hair is actually longer and healthier! Kate is phenomenal! I started seeing her while she was in beauty school and have followed her to Melted Salon & Extension Bar in Franklin. She took be from a washed out all over brown, to a beautiful caramel balayage. We have tweaked things along the way, but I am still as obsessed with my hair as I have been from the first appointment. I have had my hair colored, cut, have had blonding services with Ashley, and in an emergency situation had my hair ripped out of my head and Randi was able to make me beautiful again with the mesh integration system that I highly recommend for a situation like mine or overall hair loss situations.
