I don't typically leave reviews, but in this case, my frustration and the unprofessionalism of not only the stylist, but the owner led me to write one. I went in with too much blonde in my hair and extensions. Bernadette assured me she can take some of the blonde out and reuse the extensions . I had with no problem since she assured me she has worked with color. Correction as she called it I . The first visit understandable the color was not correct. Came back for a correction again. She not only made it a different color, but also took out the highlights that I had with a toner.. my extensions were ruined when she cut them and used color on them. each time I went in for a move up with the extensions. I had to go back within a week to two because they were falling out . The color at the roots were very spotty and at every install I had to go back to have them put back in. Different color, beads, and thread were used in different areas of the extension. Just a word to the wise when you hear a stylist saying, I have 20 years experience do your homework. * education is very important in this field.. The stylist should be confident enough to say whether they could fix it or it won't look even close to what you want. May I get you another stylist to look at this. So now my thousand dollar extensions are ruined and I have to find another Salon. I'm sure the owner will respond to this as it was the client's fault, but I can assure you the stylist should be held responsible for either the good or the bad job they do in this case awful. After comparing and having consultations done at other salons, I know that my hair was done incorrectly, and my extensions were ruined. All three other consultations I had agreed and stated the same errors. when I spoke to the stylist, she agreed to give me back one move up fee for my extensions that she ruined. I called the owner and got no serious response. He said he would talk to the stylist. I sent him many photos of the damage that she did and he still did not want to give me a refund. read more

I had an appointment scheduled and arrived on time, but when I got there, only one person was present and they didn't acknowledge me at all. I ended up waiting for an hour with no explanation. Then someone else walked in, and instead of addressing me or checking who was next, the stylist immediately spoke to that person and took them in. I was so frustrated that I just left. The place itself is pretty, but the customer service was awful. This is not how you treat clients--especially someone who just wanted a simple haircut. I've been to many hair salons, and this was by far the worst experience. I can't believe how poorly I was treated. read more

I recently moved here from California where I had been with the same stylist for 15 years. I did my due diligence by first calling all the hair salons in Murfreesboro asking what products they used for color and shampoo/conditioner etc... I was able to narrow it done to 6 salons in the area that used products my old hair dresser said were good. Travis answered the phone when I called. He was so kind and attentive to my questions. When asked who he thought does blondes the best, he said he thought with my past history Tim the owner would be best. He told me to come by and meet them and check out the salon. Fast forward a month and I went to all six places. Saving HT for last as Travis really impressed me. This salon was my top choice and I made an appointment for three weeks later. Today was the appointment. Travis remembered me the minute I walked in. The place is clean and everyone was very nice. Tim did an excellent color with highlights and cut. He even threw in a deep conditioning for free I was pleased and have made a future appointment with him in six weeeks. read more

Love this place! Just moved to Murfreesboro and had no idea where to go for a haircut. Thanks to Yelp, I found Head Trip and ended up with one of the best haircuts I've ever had! Courtney was awesome, did exactly what I wanted and was super sweet. Everyone here is very friendly! Pretty disappointed with my experience at this salon. I had an appointment at 11 and was not seen until 11:30 or later because the person before me last minute decided they wanted color and it was running late. I understand things happen and was not upset but then when I was eventually seen the stylists was clearly behind and was trying to quickly do my hair while the other woman's color set. I was initially displeased but figured once I styled it myself id be happy. However, when I did get home I saw my hair was different lengths all around. I had to drive over an hour to get my normal stylists to fix it and now my hair is much shorter than I intended. I understand things happen but if she was behind, rather than rush through my hair, talk to me about rescheduling so I'm not left with an awful cut. read more
