I went to this salon first time in person on July 10th Trish Moon the owner scheduled an appointment for me. She said Katherine is her #1 stylist and set for me to come in on 7.16.26. On 7.15.26 Katherine called and cancelled the appointment because she has company coming into town. While the cuts have been good, some attitudes are not. I showed up for an appointment and the stylist was cutting someone else's hair and gave me to another stylist. Another time I wasn't given a haircut because I previously had to call and cancel an appointment at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances. This stylist says she won't do my hair anymore even through I'd been coming to this place for years because I cause her to loose money. I am an elderly person and try as best I can to stay looking nice. I would rather go somewhere else than to not be respected. Obviously money means more to her than good, considerate service. Daniel has changed my life by changing my look from rather bland wavy, layered mousy hair to a fabulous continental look consisting of a shoulder length, light blonde sleek, highlighted bob cut/ I am almost 65. Women compliment my hair and (some) men flirt. I stringy urge you to see Danial, but please don't book him up completely! She is so easy to talk to which makes going to a salon for a few hours so much more fun and comfortable. I really didn't want to leave a bad review but my haircut is terrible. I thought maybe it will be better in a few days after the initial disaster...somehow. It takes me twice as long to style it in the mornings as I try to make this mess look presentable. Kinsey made very uneven, chopped cuts. Then she cut off significantly more in attempts to fix it. It is still very lopsided and uneven. The layers are blunt and do not blend. This was supposed to be a trim with some light shaping..not a hard request. I think she might have potential with some coaching. However, I didn't go to the Aveda school because I wanted to avoid this. Now I am out $60 and full of daily hair frustration. Who knew Tennessee was more expensive to get your hair done than in California! I searched and searched for a great place with decent prices. finally, one of my coworkers recommended Adri. I messaged her on a Friday and she got back to me In Less than ten min. Not only that she was able to fit me in that Saturday! I had a half balayage and hair cut which was $150 all together! Not only was it affordable but she did an absolutely amazing job! I wanted to have highlights and the color I chose was too bronze for my skin so she fixed it to my liking with out charge and with out complaints. She was the one who actually pointed it out and said I couldn't leave her chair until I loved my hair. For me it's hard to speak up sometimes because I feel bad for making someone do something twice but she looks out for her clients and I truly appreciate that. Sooooooo... update! After posting my last review, Salon Capelli called me and ensured me that they would have me in and fix my hair! I got there and they were still so nice to me (no one was ever unkind even on the first visit). I was placed with Jarin, who was an absolute angel! She made it a point to explain everything that she was doing to my hair in great detail, and asked me many questions before she did anything. She even helped explain what she thought went wrong before, and why my hair was having trouble getting to the point that I wanted it to. It definitely looks really great now :) I was unable to get the picture that I have been shooting for, but it got really close! Once my hair grows out more I'll be able to color the new growth to what my goal is. A HUGE thank you to Hope and Jarin for being so kind to me :) read more

I came to Salon Capelli today for my first visit, to get a much needed haircut. I called this morning and was able to get a same-day appointment, which was really great. When I arrived to check in, everyone was so friendly and helpful. They offer a beverage while you get your hair done, which is always nice! My stylist was Dusty, and he was great at listening to what I wanted, and checking in with me throughout the cut to make sure I was happy with the length, etc. (I had told him about a previous cut I had gotten elsewhere that was a bad experience, so he was really considerate of that). He was knowledgeable, experienced, and nice, and I am so happy with how my hair turned out! I am grateful to have found a salon and stylist that I can return to for future cuts. read more

I don't ever leave reviews. but I am crying as I type this. I went to get my hair touched up after letting it grow out for months. I specifically stated for the hair stylist not to go to my roots and to leave the natural growth alone and to just blend everything in. I told her not to go darker than my natural very light brown hair. I walked out of there with splotchy black color on the top half of my hair and the bottom half was left alone. This salon said they would fix it for "free" as they stated, by the SAME hair stylist, after I had just paid almost $200 to have a terrible job done. I said that would not work but someone else could do it- HOPING they would make this right. I showed them multiple pictures and told them exactly what I wanted. I walked out with 2000's yellow highlights all over my head with random black strips of color. The Owner tried to be nice but sent me home with a bottle of product as if that would fix it. I am absolutely devs because I do not have $200 more dollars to spend at a salon who can actually do what I want. And i've been putting so much work into growing my natural color out. All that work is gone now and my hair is fried from all the different things they did. I cannot even begin to describe how upset I am. I want my money back. I want my hair back how it was. If I can get anyone to save their hair by this review, that would make me feel better. I hope no one else has to go through this. read more

I received a gift card from family for a hair service. I was hesitant to "cheat" on my hair stylist but I wanted to use the gift card. I got a full foil highlight treatment, toner, and a hair cut. Jarin was awesome. Very sweet and talkative which made the experience 10x better. Now I have 2 trusted hair stylists. Fully recommend this cozy place. Yes finally!!! I have found someone in Franklin that knows how to do good quality color! Discovered Salon Capelli on Yelp and got matched with Dusty. The last time I had my hair done the color was horrible - well, Dusty was able to correct that awfulness with a combination of appropriate root color and partial highlights. He did an amazing job! He seemed incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. Gave me a trim and spent time really understanding how I like my hair.
