She took my coarse, curly, unruly hair and blew it out perfectly with just a brush and bowl drier, no hot tools needed! I am new to town and found this salon on Yelp. I was nervous because I have been going to the same hair stylist in Florida for years. When I called they were so nice and got me an appointment within a day. My appointment was with Sean and I am soooooo happy with how my hair turned out. He did the color amazing and although I've always had difficult hair to blow dry, he blew my hair out beautifully!!!!! He did an absolute incredible job. Also his shampooing was so relaxing and felt so wonderful. I am moving soon but will be making the one hour drive up here to get my hair done from now on with him. DANIEL IS AWESOME!!! I came to see Daniel (whom I found on Yelp), for a colour correction, as the last hairdresser I went to clearly didn't understand it when I said I wanted a natural look with ash blonde highlights, and ended up giving me what I can only describe as yellow gold and dark stripes. I spoke to Daniel about what I wanted and he spent a lot of time explaining what he could do to correct it for me. He was really patient and my appointment ended up lasting 4 hours! But boy, did he do a great job. Not only did he get what I wanted but he talked me through what he was doing, as well as keeping me entertained with stories. The time flew by (although probably not for Daniel!!) and I am really pleased with the result. He cleaned up my previous "mishaps" done by a stylist at another salon and we discussed the plan to get me where I want to be. He's such a great guy & stylist. The reason for 4 stars is because I found the receptionists to be disengaging. I wasn't welcomed when I came in & they seemed less than enthused with the clients in the salon & their jobs. During check out they basically ignored me & continued to discuss their food order they were going to place. I was booked for a European Facial, but was given and charged for a Custom Facial. It was relaxing, and my face and skin felt great. The description on the website stated includes massage of décolleté, hand and arms, as well as feet and legs. I was made to choose between hand and arms OR feet and legs. She immediately made me feel at ease & was very professional. I loved that she took time to talk with me about not only my lashes but my skin. I've always suffered from red, dry, skin. I figured it was something I'd just have to live with. She has reassured me that I too can have calm skin! Since lashes, I've had a Sensi peel done. We called and Kenzie was able to schedule my mom for an appointment the same day for a color/cut.
