Tiffiny at Glam House is simply the best. I've been going to Glam House for over a year and…read morecontinue to drive 45 minutes to this salon for cut and color because when you find an expert, you keep them! Thanks to Glam House for giving me such an amazing experience every single time - and rockstar hair. Being a local business I appreciate the direct access to my stylist for appointment bookings. There are many more reviews on their Facebook page that showcases the great work this salon does - I would suggest checking them out there for more information verses Yelp.

This salon is really unprofessional. Not only do they not have a way to book an appointment online,…read morebut they also don't have a receptionist. When I left a message to book an appointment with Elizabeth, I received a text from Tiffany saying Elizabeth sets her own appointments. I texted the number she gave me and received no response. After 24 hours I sent another text asking if I had the right number, and no response. It's been almost a week now I never received a text back. I confirmed with Tiffany that it was the correct number and it was. I always want to give people benefit of the doubt because life happens, but I follow Elizabeth's professional Instagram and she has been posting pictures at the salon daily. I find that so rude and unprofessional and I'm so glad I didn't spend money with Elizabeth or Glam House!

I'm super picky about my hair. It took me three people and two years living in TN before I found my…read morefourth and final stylist Kim at Daisy's place. She's been my girl for a couple of years now and I've never been disappointed. She has the attention to detail that I expect and she always listens to what I want and makes sure she understands. There is another stylist there who moved away but comes back from time to time and people line up and make appointments to get their hair done by her way in advance. I've seen Vanessa do make up for special occasions while I get my hair done and she does great make up. The ladies who work here are talented, driven, and hard working. Highly recommend.

However, the other stylists and some of the patrons were rude and unprofessional when it came to a foreign woman who came to the door asking for donations. I was appalled at their comments after they rudely turned the woman away. You can tell a lot about a person by how they treat a stranger and for that reason, I'll never go back.

Fast forward...I've been bringing my twin boys here for 6 years now. They love Miss Kathy and beg to get their hair cut when it touches their ears. She greets them like family, cuts their hair exactly as I ask, takes extra time to make sure they are comfortable to blow off the "itchy" hair. Check in online and get in fast, even on busy Sundays!

I visited this location while on vacation, and it's by far one of the stupidest things I have done…read morein recent memory. The stylist, Samantha, was reasonably personable, but did not take into consideration the requests I had and instead just kept reiterating that I needed to step outside of my comfort zone. I will admit that was partly my fault (which is why this is getting two stars instead of only one), because I didn't have a set style in mind when I sat in the chair, but my approval for "long layers" meant the topmost layer on the crown of my head ended up being about 3" long and she gave me long bangs without discussing it with me first, which was extremely disheartening since if she had she asked, the answer would have been a firm "No". I hate the haircut and it makes me super self conscious, especially since my hair grows very slowly and even after a few weeks, I cannot find a way to style it that does not result in the top layer fluffing up and leaving essentially a ridge around the top of my head. This is especially noticeable when I put my hair into a ponytail or pigtails, both styles which I specifically mentioned that I wanted to continue to be able to wear after the cut, but the top layer makes that impossible, since it's too short to capture within the hair band. After arriving home I visited another stylist who advised to just leave it alone and let it grow out; she also suggested frequent cuts to blend it better since currently the layers are "stacked". I would definitely think twice before trusting the staff at this location.
