I struggled finding someone to cut my hair the way I liked from my former stylist. Additionally, for personal reasons, I enjoy a 1 on 1 experience as opposed to a place where everyone waiting can see you, though sometimes there is another customer just waiting on something to dry. It's a building that hosts multiple stylists, but I personally sign up with Jessica Jones. Not only is she amazing in her craft, she has the name of a super hero! I've always been satisfied with my hair cuts and the conversations with her are genuine. I have to drive from Nashville to Smyrna, which is a 20 minute drive without traffic, but I find it worth it for the perfect cut.

I trusted her to cut what needed to be cut and my hair looks absolutely gorgeous. I am an auburn naturally, but I heard blondes have more fun. She was absolutely a doll and super friendly, I would recommend her to anyone and definitely return when my roots start peeking out.

Currently, at the time of our service, we couldn't get indoor haircuts in California, so we decided to take advantage of our time in Tennessee. We both had Charla for our service. My cut and color was excellent and done in a timely fashion. She was very friendly, along with her co-worker Kim. I appreciated the precautions they took with the temperature taking and mask wearing, since we still are not out of this virus era. Thanks for the great service. Because we get impeccable, attentive service for hours at a time--at a fraction of the cost of other places. They offer various services, but we've especially taken advantage of the hair and facial treatments. People may be hesitant to let students work on their hair, but hair grows back. And honestly, I've found that so-called 'mistakes' often end up with even better results. No one has ever actually messed up our hair. My daughter is braver than I am--one year, she got her hair colored on the day of prom. The color wasn't exactly what she'd visualized, but she rolled with it. We both understand that these are students learning by experience, and we can't expect them to be pros. They try their best, and instructors guide them along. The instructors are experienced professionals who have graduated, worked in the field for a while, and now teach the right techniques. For example, one student was nervous about cutting my hair into many layers. So the instructor took over and chopped away--exactly what I wanted. When you go for hair services, plan on spending half the day there. You need patience so they can do their best work. If you come in with high expectations and rush them, things may not end well. It's a very laid-back environment. Honestly, I could have sat in the chair while my stylist washed my hair all day long. They could have stopped right there and taken my money just for the head massage. I encourage you to try them out. It's obvious people are mostly happy with the results--they stay booked. The facials are scheduled in time frames, and I recommend the 90-minute one. You'll keep going back!
