The chicken wings appetizer was amazing. I had the pork fried Thai Rice and my wife had the beef Pad Thai. Everything was very good. You must remember to get the tray for condiments. In my opinion, the chili paste (liquid red sauce) is the best. It is a BYOB, so come prepared with some cold beers. read more

We ordered the Pad Thai, also the appetizer shrimp fried roll, very nice service and the food was excellent, great portions.

I did not expect to be disappointed, after reading so many 5 stars reviews. It started out well. The Tom Ka soup was balanced and flavorful and full of tofu and the Crispy Shrimp Rolls were tasty, but our entrees were subpar. The Pad Thai tasted as though it had been cooked in old oil and there was no other flavor to mask that. The shrimp in it, was rubbery and tasteless. The Pineapple Fried Rice was better than the Pad Thai but it didn't have much flavor either (I tasted no curry at all) and it was very skimpy on just about every ingredient except for the rice. I kid you not, there were only about 6 raisins in the whole dish. The prices were high for the portions and the quality. Although it did satisfy hunger, I don't think we'll go back. read more

We were in the mood for Thai food and ordered delivery from here on a whim. Wow it really is delicious! We got the pad see ew and pad Thai. So tasty and not too spicy (we added some crushed red pepper flakes to add a little spice). Good prices, quick delivery and genuinely amazing food. Will definitely order from here again. read more

This was a surprise discovery, it's family friendly, inexpensive and the decor elevates it from many of the Chinese takeout /sit downs in Brick. The staff are bubbly and fun, and made us feel very welcome. The food is also not bad read more

Hands-down, one of the best Thai restaurants I've been to, and it's right here in Brick. Herbs Thai Kitchen is a fairly small new restaurant, opening up in the space that was formerly occupied by a bagel & breakfast place. They've done a decent job making the space work, and there's enough seating for 20 - 24 people in here (6 or 7 tables). The plaza the restaurant resides in is a bit tricky to get into from the main road, and it may be a bit hard to see this place from the road - but in case folks need a reference point: it's in the Domino's Pizza / Entenmanns plaza. The food was excellent. I ordered the green curry lunch special, and since I like my food spicy, I asked for it... well, extra spicy. Not only did the curry taste fresh and homemade, but they actually put enough pepper into it to give me a nice heat tingle. Bonus points for having what looked like a fairly decent pepper tray against the wall, in case you wanted to add more spice to your dish. As other reviewers have said, the chef here knows their stuff! Flavors were balanced perfectly, and even the peanut salad dressing tasted amazing; not too vinegary or too sweet. A real local gem; one that I'll be back to many times, I'm sure. read more

Hours are posted as 11a to 930p. Yelp says they are taking reservations. And understanding many restaurants are limiting capacity due to COVID, I called to see if we could book a table (for a late lunch), but I was told they were closed between lunch and dinner. Decided to give them another try the next day and called to (again) check if I needed a reservation. They said I did not, so we drove there for dinner. However, upon entering the restaurant, I was told they were only doing take out and delivery. Why wasn't this mentioned either of the times I called? Will update Yelp entry accordingly. read more

Walked in and the first thing I noticed was the smell you get when you walk into a pet store that sells hamsters. My girlfriend and I tried to look at the menu but we couldn't get past the smell so we had to leave. I'm allergic to most animals and I felt was I was about to have an asthma attack. I can't comment on the food, wish I could because I was looking forward to eating here. They need to fix the stench and then I would love to come back and give this place a second chance. http://www.sangriastraw.com read more

This place is really good! I got the yellow curry, but requested they add carrots and bamboo shoots and it tasted better then I expected. I also got the Thai Tea which was REALLY yummy! Too bad no Boba, but even without it I wanted more! We ordered the appetizer sampler that had 4 different items and was paired with a dipping sauce. Being from San Diego and on vacation I was extremely happy my sister brought us here to try. I can't wait to visit Jersey again so I can eat here again! read more

Food is get I get the hot pineapple chicken curry and the serving is huge I've only had takeaway but has nice little seating area.

Ordered papaya salad for app. It wasnt bad, but could of been better. The smell of the fish sauce was horrible. Never had that much fish sauce in a papaya salad, or ever smelled like that. Green curry with chicken was very good. Definitely would order again. Ordered this off lunch special and price was good. May hit this place again for quick lunch. read more

Ordered to go and to my surprise, the food was really good. we will order again! I would say probably the best thai food in Brick area.

Love their food here! Just a small local delicious restaurant we like to pop into for pad Thai, a curry dish, soups etc.. their doing curbside during covid and their being super careful and their modded so order early. read more

We did take out from here a few days ago and it was delicious... the pad thai lunch special had great flavor, it wasn't my favorite but it was still so good. The curry puffs had great flavor, a little pricy but they were a decent size (3 in an order). However, the real winner for me was the Massaman curry. The flavor was amazing. We got the lunch special so we could taste it without getting a full order, we are definitely doing the full order from now on. We had it with the coconut rice - perfect. The lunch specials are a great way to sample anything you are interested in and they are a definitely cheaper - the spring rolls that are included are tasty too! read more

Delicious and fresh food! I arrived in time to order a lunch special -- Massaman Curry with chicken ($7.50). I also ordered wonton soup ($4.95) and dumplings ($5.95) as appetizers. The wait staff was attentive and the ambiance was quiet and relaxing with soft, lyrical music in the background. My food was hot when delivered to my table. This restaurant is very clean! Though it was my first time here, it seems popular. Traffic was steady and only got busier as I was leaving. I will definitely be back; I want to try dessert! read more

We've been here too many times to count for take out and we have yet to have a bad meal! Consistently delicious. Best drunken noodles around and super accommodating to vegan/vegetarian. Cannot recommend them enough, so so good read more

Just tried this place and i must say it is good, however i have had better thai food. I ordered shrimp pad thai for takeout which obviously isn't the optimal experience but i digress. The shrimp's consistency was odd but not off putting, and the flavor of the dish was very good, however the noodles were a little on the mushy side. I would come back here, but im not rushing back here. if im in the area i'll cop some curry. read more

My friends and I stopped here for dinner on our way to Atlantic City and we are so glad we did! The dishes were plentiful, both in portions and flavor. We ordered the papaya salad, red duck curry, sampler appetizer which had friend taro, spring rolls, curry puffs, and pork dumplings, and Thai fried rice. The fried rice was pleasantly spicy, and. It too greasy. The red duck curry was perfect: the duck was nicely friend and included meaty pieces and not fatty, the sweetness of the pineapple was a perfect compliment to the level of spice. The papaya salad could've been a bit more papaya and less lettuce but the fish sauce was on point If I'm ever in the area I would absolutely go again. Highly recommend for anyone in the area! read more

This is my first time being at this place. so I decided to order the basics. Fried rice and a noodle dish. The rice lacked seasoning, it felt like I was eating rice and vegetables separate and the noodles were better but too lumpy and parts of noodles were not seasoned at all. read more

Authentic Thai. So delish!!! Their pad Thai is amazing. Their curries are great! Give it a try people.

I have dined here many times in the past year with my friends and husband. The food is delicious!!! Everything is made to order and their accommodating with food allergies . You can't go wrong with anything on their menu from all different curries, pad Thai and soups it's all delicious. It's a very small restaurant but we have never had to wait . You can also have no spice to lots of spice the choice is yours . The owner and staff are very friendly and polite. Definitely give it a try I don't think you'll be disappointed!!! read more

Food is pretty good. But again, sadly, another bistro in Brick that misses the mark on atmosphere. Loud clanging and banging from behind back counter was very disruptive. Dirty water spilled on the floor next to my annoyingly wobbly table. Kinda cute Thai-ish vibe in front of place, but look toward kitchen and it quickly transitions to a cheap takeout joint with exposed drink fridges and potato chip racks. ?? Turn down the noise, cover up the takeout theme, put on some cool Thai music to set the mood, and you'll have a winner. At least they weren't cleaning the floors and tables w toxic chemicals like the last Thai and Vietnamese eateries we tried. Don't mean to be snobby, but eating out isn't cheap and why bother if it isn't better than home. read more

Fantastic! Delicious food, quick & friendly service.... I'm beyond excited to have this place so close to home. read more

Not only is everything delicious , but it offers a ridiculously affordable lunch special menu , something very rare when it comes to Decent Thai. I had takeout from here the other day and I was just not a fan. The way they packaged it wasn't great. The salad was warm and soggy and should have been packaged separate. Also no need for all of the foil in the bottom of the foam container. Also, the tofu was fried. Overall, just a lack-luster experience. read more

Small, cute restaurant with great service! Very clean and friendly atmosphere. The food is amazingly good! We ordered their duck basil and drunken noodles with shrimp! Yum! They can make their dishes truly spicy which is a huge plus for me because I love that Asian spice ;) read more

Best Thai perhaps that I have ever had. The super fresh ingredients, expert preparation and stellar presentation was phenomenal As to the comments on Brooklyn and Manhattan, yes the ambiance could be better, yet the prices were at lease 30% lower than NYC, and a 15 minute drive from home rather than 90 minutes read more

Great service, delicious food, and a quiet, casual ambiance. I had the Drunken Noodles, wHich were listed as medium spicy, but was a little too hot for me. Next time I will ask if they can make it a little more mild (they offered to take it back, but I decided to stick it out and eat it as the chef intended). That said, it is REALLY delicious. We also ordered the Curry Puffs as an appetizer and were pleased. There were 2 oF us and 4 puffs, so we were satisfied. Would definitely come back! read more

highly recommend for the best thai food in the area even the friend ice cream was to die for

Best Thai restaurant in the Brick NJ area. Has excellent vegetarian dishes, as well as a few vegan selections. Exceptionally tasty curries with vegetables and tofu. On today's plate I had spicy, delicious Drunken Noodle and Mrs. B had vegan Pad Thai (no egg). Both were well presented and palette-pleasing, served up with two "mini spring rolls with a sweet-sour peanut sauce. read more

Besides the coconut soup and the red curry tofu, the dishes were small and not flavorful.. I ordered the Thai mixed vegetable Wok dish and it was watery with no flavor. The fried rice with shrimp, beef, and eggplant added had absolutely no flavor. We ordered a shrimp wok dish in it had no flavor either. Overall I'm disappointed! I do not like leaving bad reviews and I very rarely do. Hopefully the owner will read this and pay more attention to how much spice and flavor he's adding. I would also consider making the portions better. Also too much water in the wok read more

Excellent food! We started with the sampler, Tom yum soup and wonton soup - all very good. The sauces for the appetizers were great. I had the pineapple curry. Amazing! I've never had it anywhere before and I love curry dishes. The sweet pineapple with spicy curry had the perfect flavor. I'm glad I listened to the waitress. My husband had the pineapple fried rice which he enjoyed so much he didn't share! We can't wait to go back. The kitchen was a little slow but every table was filled when we got there. read more
