Fahad was great. My Tesla Y was dead in my garage on Mother's Day morning. He was contacted via Tesla roadside assistance to tow the vehicle. He arrives less than 30min later, knew how to jump the car enough to allow me to get it out of my garage and onto his tow bed. He was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. Geico specifically put in their note I needed a wheel-lift or dolly tow truck because I am in a parking garage. First they were late which I understand but they kept pushing back the time. Second, it took nearly 40 minutes for him to just find me and get to my car. Then after being late and having trouble finding my car, they told me they were unable to because they only brought a flat bed tow truck EVEN THOUGH IT WAS SPECIFIED IN ALL OF THE NOTES THAT WHAT WAS NEEDED WAS A WHEEL-LIFT OR DOLLY. Tesla Service sent Henry's Towing to bring our car to the Tesla service center. Alfredo was assigned to our request, and he is fantastic. Alfredo promptly called us, once Tesla connected us to their towing service. Alfredo arrived at our location within 20 min. We live in a parking garage, and he was able to maneuver through the tight turns like a true professional. He managed to pull our Model 3 out without scraping underneath (the car rides low + we parked hovering over a concrete curb). He is very very informative with Teslas and was able to nail the correct diagnosis. He is a very kind and genuine worker who made this stressful event, not so stressful. Stoopid mthrfukn Yelp app deleted my review, so here is the short version. Henry's tow truck via Toyota Roadside Assistance showed up 1:15 after the originally scheduled time, and 45 min after the revised ETA. I received no call in the interim. I told the driver to take a hike. I called AAA and a truck from Mandic showed up in half an hour. Moral to the story is, don't call Henry's unless you want an unreliable provider that doesn't keep you informed. read more

Been waiting on the side of the freeway for a tow because my vehicle broke down, literally on the freeway. It's been an hour and 30 min, still no tow truck. No one seems to know how far they are, or why it's taking so long, but I told them I was on the freeway and I'm pretty pissed they are taking so long. The first update said 55-65 min and had no truck in route. I called after it had been an hour and 15 minutes with no tow truck in site and they said they were almost here and would call me. They didn't. 10 min later I called USAA and they told me they called them and it's going to be 25 more minutes. I got another text wand now the app shows them in route, 25-36 min away. This is insane! Someone owes me an explanation. I should not have to wait 2+ hours for a tow!!!!!! Update, I waited 2 hours and 15min. The driver was not sympathetic whatsoever and just shrugged and said I was lucky, the last guy had to wait 4 hours! So unprofessional! I'm just praying my car makes it to the shop before they close! Worst service have ever experienced in a business. ToyotaCare sent this service to me, and they have been nothing but a nightmare to deal with. They've replaced my battery twice, and I'm in the middle of dealing with them for a third time as I type this. The battery keeps dying, but it's under warranty. Otherwise I would definitely go somewhere else. During this most recent time they sent someone to jumpstart the battery, but that didn't fix the problem. Rather than replacing the battery on the spot, I had to put in another maintenance request to send someone to repair the battery. They wouldn't even tow my car for me. Also, the women in the phone are extremely rude. I would avoid dealing with them at all costs. Next time ToyotaCare tries sending this clowns I will insist on someone else. I have no idea where to start. I got kicked out of my car at 9:39 am. I called for service and was told it might take no more than 2 hours. I called within an hour and then I was told he is running begins and might take an additional 68 min now it's already been from 9:39 to 11:30 I have been waiting. It only gets worse. Every time I call I am sure it's the same girl that said she is the supervisor and she had just got there. Well next I call back working the hour and do not get a call back but text at 1:56pm with updated arrival time additional 45 min. I am furious. After confirming with Hadley Towing dispatch that I didn't have a spare and needed a tow truck i waited over an hour. Hadley driver called me on the way and they did not have a tow truck and did not have a spare. After blaming AAA and Hadley Tow dispatch being completely bullying and rude I asked AAA to send another service. 12/14/2021 Decided to try them out under prepaid maintenance with Tustin toyota. Sent a request for a jump start at 5:03 PM, got a confirmation text and link saying ETA is within 90-105 min. At 6:42 PM (nearly 120 min??) the link said help was "arriving soon". Called the provided number to get an update, lady who answered cut me off before I finished asking a question and said "its gonna take another hour, were really behind". Okayyy? I just cancelled and called geico instead and within 5 min OC roadside assistance called me that they're coming in 10-20 min. And they actually showed up on time. My husband went surfing after work and got out of the water only to realize that he needed Roadside Assistance. We pay for this service through State Farm. State Farm called Henry's Towing to respond to our call at 4:21 pm tonight. We initially received an estimated time of 5o minutes. Henry's has an ETA app that tells you of their arrival so after the 5o minutes we kept getting an "arriving soon." We finally called only to have a female who answered the phone state that it would be another 60 minutes. 60 minutes later, my husband called again and was told it would be another 30. The last message we received from Henry's was at 7:32 pm stating that it would be yet another 60 minutes. We finally called AAA and they arrived in 15 minutes! We will be calling State Farm in the morning to complain about this company. Roadside service should be fast and reliable. Ask for Estaban. He is the real deal. very empathetic, professional and fast. We were stranded with a Turo Car that had poor engine maintenance and was not safe for driving. We were stranded for 5 hours with super delayed turo service. Multiple tow trucks dispatched and none showed up except for Estaban from henrys towing. I received roadside assistance by henry's through state farm for flat tire. They installed my spare tire while I was at work. The driver over torqued the lug nuts and cross threaded one nut. My spare is stuck on my truck until I can get it fixed. I called henry's and tried to explain what happened and they immediately put me on hold without saying a word. I stayed on hold and eventually hung up. I sent two requests via their website to get a driver back out to remove the cross threaded lug nut and they never responded. They don't even deserve 1 star... read more

Driver Christian was delightful, prompt and courteous. However, I wouldn't recommend getting a battery from this merchant. After only 5 months the battery died. When I called to request a replacement the dispatcher didn't tell me they charge a $90 replacement fee. It was supposed to be covered by an 18-month warranty (label on the battery clearly states 18 MONTH FREE REPLACEMENT). read more

Henry's Towing, which is under new management as of this posting, is an overall good towing company. I would have given the company 5 stars if it was not for the "Con" listed below. Notes/ Timeline: 1. My vehicle is a 2016 Lexus ES 350, with less than 40K miles (as of this posting). 2. I called my insurance for a jump start for a dead battery in February of 2022. Henry's Towing was the service provider. 3. The battery was replaced with Henry's Towing recommended 30 month warranty battery for my Lexus (see photo of new battery which was installed in February 2022). Quincy was the technician who replaced the battery. Excellent customer service, polite, thorough, informative, detail oriented, and tested the car's alternator with a smile. Thank you Quincy for a job well done! Individuals such as yourself are a blessing to those who are stranded without an operational vehicle. 4. The new battery which was installed in February was dead in May 2022. I called Henry's Towing directly (not through my insurance) since the new battery was still under warranty. Technician came and jump started my car. This was no fault of Quincy's instillation. All good so far... 5. The battery was dead again. This time in August 2022. I called Henry's Towing directly to have a battery swapped since the battery died twice while under warranty. 6. Spoke to Edwin (dispatcher) on 08/04/22 to schedule a battery swap for 08/12/22. He offered to also send a technician out in the meantime to jumpstart my car so that I would not be stranded. I informed him - all is good, I'll use my other car in the meantime and to keep my appointment for 08/12/22 for the swapping of the battery for the Lexus. Excellent customer service Edwin. It is because of individuals such as yourself business have repeat customers. 7. I called Henry's Towing on 08/11/22 to confirm my battery swap for 08/12/22. I spoke to Janisa (dispatcher) who transferred me to Mohamad (who identified himself as the manager). If Mohamad was not his actual name - then disregard the name going forward. 8. This is where things go off the rails with Mohamad. He demanded I take a photo of the battery which was installed by Henry's Towing back in February 2022 and send it to him. I explained, all I'm doing is confirming my appointment for the battery swap for the next day. He refused to listen to my situation. Instead, he was belligerent, rude, and aggressive on the phone. He demanded, I take a photo of my battery and send it to him because he DID NOT believe the battery was under a 30 month warranty. I informed him I was not with my vehicle to take the photo and send it to him. He said, "When you get to your vehicle to take a photo and send it then." Indicating he did not believe the battery was under a 30 month warranty. I was not going to wait 10 hours (until I was with my Lexus) to prove to Mohamad the warranty with a photo. I informed him that Henry's Towing records and invoice should indicate the battery instillation on February of 2022 with the type of battery and other pertinent details of the service which was done - I as the customer should not have to prove to a business who "should" have detailed records of services of their customers. He and I continued to have a heated circular discussion of my service appointment confirmation for 08/12/22. I can't believe Mohamad is so ill mannered, naive, unintelligent, and irresponsible. He definitely gives Henry's Towing a bad reputation for customer service. He eventually hung up on me. Mohamad see the PHOTO. 9. I called back on 08/11/22 after the "manager" hung up on me. I spoke to Janisa (dispatcher) and she confirmed my battery swap. She was awesome and VERY helpful. Thanks Janisa. 10. 08/12/22 Edwin called me at 9am to confirm my battery swap around 10:45am. Thanks Edwin. 11. 08/12/22 battery swapped by Eduardo. Excellent customer service. Pros: Excellent dispatcher customer service from Janisa and Edwin. Scheduling and estimated time for service were accurate. Technicians Quincy and Eduardo - Excellent. "Cons:" Mohamad or the manager. The manager does not belong in customer service. The President of Henry's Towing (according to BBB) - Marina, needs to ensure customer service is of the upmost priority since safety of individuals on roads, freeways, etc. are above all other circumstances. read more

Henry's Towing sent a repair technician to my house to install a new car battery in my car and offered me an 18 month warranty. The battery failed yesterday (Sunday) and I subsequently learned that it is the wrong type of battery for my car and absolutely not recommended by the manufacturer of the battery or vehicle. Henry's provided an 18 month warranty on the installation (parts & labor) at the time, but now refuses to honor it, stating that they no longer service my location and that I should have driven to the battery distributor in Garden Grove (with my dead car, no less) and taken the issue up with them. I called the business to speak with an incredibly rude supervisor who talked over me, refused to help, and finally hung up on me. She asserted that the battery they installed was just fine, despite any easily searchable and publicly available information from the auto maker and battery manufacturer explicitly stating otherwise. easily proving otherwise. If i could give them a 0 stars I would. We use AAA and Friday 5/20/22 we had my husband because truck stopped in Anaheim, California. They told him to wait 1 hour, he waited, no truck driver, he called again they told him 1 hour, he called again, he was told 1 hour. This happened for the next few hours. Around 3pm, I called AAA dispatch center because this had already gone for 5 hours and no truck had shown up. No communication from AAA or the trucking company: I called Henry's Towing from Santa Ana to see where the truck was and the lady who answered, just said "HOLD ON" i got disconnected and called back and she answered with, "I SAID HOLD ON" and put me on hold, I just hung up at that point. I was very upset because he was stuck on the side of road. I spoke the AAA dispatch person and she was apologetic but at the same time she just told me they can't control what the tow trucking company tells them, and well she just said he has to wait. He did not get picked up until 5pm. That is 7 HOURS!! He was 1 hour from home. This is unacceptable. NO one should have to wait 7 hours for a tow AND AAA should not deal with dishonest and flaky tow trucking companies. He didn't get home until 7pm because now he had to wait in traffic for 2 hours because it was rush hour on a Friday. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with he service we received. read more

If i could leave no stars I would. I was teamed to Henry's via Toyota Roadside assistance. When I pushed my SOS button because my tire ripped from the rim and torn off something and looked lodged in the wheel mount. I have no clue about cars, tires, damage, or towing, but I knew it might not be just a simple tire change, and I said so. Henry's texted, saying 60 to 70 minutes for assistance to arrive. After 40, Marina called. She said the call noted said I might need a tow or tire change and if I thought it might need a tow she needed me to call back the emergency road side number and change it to just tow. I asked why she couldn't just send the tow truck and if it was just a tire change they could do it and be on their way. Ahhhh the argument and back and forth ensued in which Marina was less than kind, service oriented or professional. I have never been talked to or treated so poorly in a situation for which patience might not only help but should just be implied. She canceled my call, which was fine with me. I had to walk back to my car in tears alone at night ( I am a female and had just my work clothes on, I was cold and more than stressed at this point) . I would never recommend Henry's service to anyone and I suggest Marina find a new job which does not require her to work with the public. read more

My car had a flat last night, I have a Volkswagen and went through them to get roadside assistance this morning and they contracted Henry's towing to assist. The ETA was spot on and the technician Christian was amazing! He was so helpful and kind. Super personable and very informative. He fixed the tire in no time and even checked if my tires had air in them. I am a single mom with a 7 year old son and I can truly say I am very much appreciative of that extra helpful gesture.
