Love Jorge and Henry's Salon! Great stylist, great color, great cut, great attitude and all within a nice environment.

I see Miranda for bikini wax and she is great. She makes you feel comfortable, and relaxed. I followed her here and this location is nice and clean! Very professional location and Miranda is the best! read more

I saw Michele here for a manicure. Normally, polish only stays on my nails for a day or two. With Michele's manicure it's been days and there aren't any chips. I'm very impressed! Michele is also so sweet and personable. I would recommend her to anyone :). read more

Henry's Salon - Gel nails by Michele! The last longer than any gels I've ever had. She's the best! - Hair Salons Near Me - Denver, Colorado

It is extraordinarily rare to find one person who does a great job in every way when I get my hair colored and cut. But I can say that so far I have found three stylists who do an absolutely incredible job at Henry's. I go to Shelley and she is INCREDIBLE. I can sit in her chair, tell her what I'm kind of thinking as far as color goes and every single time she delivers a better version of what I pictured. She doesn't press her ideas on me, she takes what I've described to her and enhances it. While Shelley was off of work for a period of time I went to Brie and she did an amazing job as well. I was nervous because it's daunting to trust someone you don't know with your hair but she did a great job. My boyfriend has been to see Jake and I've never seen his hair look so good. Henry's is absolutely top notch in the Denver area. I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

I have been going to Shanelle for almost 9 years and every time I go I am never disappointed. Shanelle is a phenomenal stylist. You can tell that she really cares about her clients, and wants to make sure that you leave 100% satisfied with your hairstyle. She listens, understands exactly what you want, and makes you feel very comfortable. I would recommend her to my friends in a heartbeat read more

I never leave Clare's chair feeling anything less than beautiful and taken care of. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Ed always does an amazing job on my hair and I look forward to many more years of successful hair do's at Henry's by Ed!

Michaela is exceptional and always provides great service and an outstanding Men's cut. The salon is comfortable and busy

This place is great. Andee Becker cuts my hair and I am always pleased. Somehow Andee fixes my sloppy unkempt head perfectly every time. She and the rest of the staff whom I've met are warm and friendly. The salon itself has comfortable waiting areas, warm decor, tvs and music-I hear there's wine sometimes too. They also carry a wide range of products. The staff is well educated and can surely recommend the best products for you. read more

I've been seeing David Holmes for over two years and he is amazing! If you are looking for a new stylist and are afraid of trying someone new, then David is the person to see. He is all about technique and really spends time looking at you - face structure, hair type, etc - before suggesting a way forward. After moving to Denver from NYC, I was having trouble finding a stylist. I first learned about David from a friend with rave reviews. She had been struggling to find a good style while growing out her short haircut and had received his name from a friend with "great hair" who recommended him for his technique. She loved what David was able to do. With all that praise, I decided to give him a call, and I've never looked back. His cuts grow out really well, so fewer visits are needed - a definite plus for those of us with long hair! After I started seeing David, my boyfriend also called him for a haircut (hearing that he's a great stylist for men too) and he is equally delighted in David's abilities. Put simply, he's the best Denver has to offer - for men and women! read more

Stacey M. is the best. I have seen her for 16 years and followed her all over town. Henry's is one of my favorite places she has been. The front desk staff are thorough and nice. The atmosphere is a cool, classy vibe. A little wine, coffee, or water while you are being pampered. Book with Stacey, she's knowledgeable, sincere, and you can just let her run with it. Show her a few pics, tell her what you don't want and let her go. She's amazing. read more

AMAZING!!! Rafael Castillo was my stylist. I am scared to death or haircuts because stylists always cut too much hair off, but Rafael trimmed with caution and made my hair look beautiful. I am also disabled and Rafael took great care to accommodate my needs and made sure I was always comfortable. The salon is very well kept, spacious, and is decorated nicely. The staff is incredibly friendly and not pretentious at all. I paid $78 (20% tip included) for a wash, cut, blow dry, and style. Excellent all around. Highly recommended. I will be a repeat customer from here on out. Thank you Rafael!!!! read more

Horrible services and horrible customer service. Should have know Henry's skills weren't up to par when I called to schedule an appointment and I was told I could get in two days later with Henry anytime I wanted. Got highlights and walked out of the salon with 3 inch dark roots. Didn't even look like my hair had been done after spending over $200.00. Some strands of hair had 3 different colors on it because color wasn't pulled through to ends. Looked like a leopard. Worst part is I called 5 times and sent two emails to say I wasn't satisfied and haven't received a response in 3 months time. Never going back. read more

I love Brandi so much!!! Thank you for transforming my hair from boring with no dimension to long beautiful blonde hair! I attempted to grow out my natural hair for years, and didn't color it for 4 years prior to extensions. My hair was completely natural, and from all the years of previous color, and damage it wouldn't grow. I finally got the Beauty in Length extensions, and Brandi is the best at blending, coloring, and styling! They are cost effective for the quality of work she does, and the real hair they offer lasts! It's sewn in and lasts me 6 weeks before I even need to get it tightened. Only colored a few times a year. Thank you B!!! I love you!! read more

Do not go to Henry's! I repeat do not trust that place; when I walked in I immediately had a bad feeling! First of all I had to wait 30 minutes for an appointment that I previously reserved. When I sat down in the chair I saw that the girl next to me had a glass of wine and so did everyone surrounding me. I was never once offered wine nor water in the least. (What am I chopped liver?) I, being a former beauty school student knew what I wanted in a haircut and even brought in 3 different pictures with all different angles to assure that myself and the hairstylist (Adrianne) were on the same page. The length of my hair was to the middle of my back and was requesting a simple A- line. Throughout the haircut the stylist was too busy looking at herself in the mirror, working on another client and joking with the receptionist to pay attention to what I wanted. All said and done; there my hair was lying on the floor and nothing I can do about it. She prompts me to pay and I was never once asked if I liked it. After I left I didn't know whether to cry or freak out! All of my hair was gone and instead of looking a la Hayden Panettiere I was more like Jeff Daniels in Dumb & Dumber, or like a mushroom had all of a sudden sprouted upon my head! Could have placed a bowl on my head, cut around it and ended with the same result! I cried for two days and after telling my story to several people they suggested I call the owner of the salon to see if I could get a refund of my money. I tried this and basically was dismissed like a fly, Henry could care less if his name was attached to a bad review that the salon and Adrianne would be receiving. In my opinion giving me my $50 bucks back is more worth it than several people seeing this review about the quality of people he hires and that you entrust your hair to. I Also think it should be known that Adrianne took no responsibility for the haircut either; really? You were holding the scissors! Please be warned that if you go to this so called "upscale salon" and have Adrianne do your hair you will be disappointed beyond repair. read more

Henry's was okay. I've only gotten my hair done once here, and I probably won't go back. I got my hair done by David last year. He did a nice job, but didn't listen to what I wanted done. I felt rushed when trying to explain how I wanted my hair to look (I even brought pictures with me), and yet he seemed confused on what I wanted. He ended up putting highlights all over my crown, which did look nice, but I distinctly told him I didn't want anything that required much upkeep or maintenance (which highlights do). He is a nice person and does nice work, but to pay so much for getting my hair done, I'd rather go somewhere else where the stylist listens to what I want. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, I think there are better salons in central Denver. read more

I had a waxing appointment and arrived only to find out that the waxer wasn't there and wouldn't be there for appointment. They said they didn't have my phone number to contact me---I had made the appointment online so they did have my email address (unclear why a phone number isn't required in online scheduling for situations such as these). I was offered a reschedule, water and a "sorry". No follow up from the salon ever occurred after this point. I understand how situations like this happen but their recovery was very poor. It's disappointing to make an appointment only to show up to have it cancelled with no notification and to have staff not seem to care about the inconvenience. I won't be back. read more

Discriminating Hair Salon...... Do not go there the phone guy was so rude. I tried to tell him I'm mixed and right away he told me they don't do my hair. I have 90% Hispanic hair. He is probably racist and ignorant. If it's a 5 star salon ud think they could work any hair, hair is hair. And when I called back to speak to the manager he said he was. Ironic that that's how managers speak to customers. Very discriminating salon @#$% this salon called Henry's downtown Denver. Mixed hair is always dry and curly and if I learn to take care of it better, it can be super healthy. So if he bothered asking me what I mean my mixed hair vs just assuming ethnicity, I would have gone in to get a hair mask treatment. read more

I walked into this Salon 5 (almost 6) years ago. Besides the professionalism, cleanliness, and talented artists; you will find a particularly exceptional person. I watched Clare flourish from an assistant to a well rounded, talented stylist. She gives one of the best scalp massages of all time, (no seriously, you can read the rest of this while you're in her chair bc you need to go right now and book your appointment). I feel like most stylists chose their strength in either cut or color, but Clare has mastered both. She also will bring a smile to your face with her bubbly personality. Go book yourself an appointment, now! You won't be disappointed. read more

Got an amazing facial with Melissa and Andre always does an incredible job with my hair!

This salon is awesome. All the stylists are professional and friendly and really look out for their clients and each other. I recommend Henry's 100%. My stylist Clare is top-notch and I have never had a bad experience. I watch the other stylists and they all do great work as well. I have also seen them talk with each other when asking for opinions on suggestions on how to get the best look for their own client. No egos.. just professionals. I love it. Go here!! read more

I tried a lot of different barbers and salons over the last couple of decades before I found David Holmes at Henry's Salon (I've been a customer for over five years now). He consistently delivers the best haircut in town, because he is formally trained in the American Crew method. The salon itself is inviting and friendly and a great environment to be while getting the best haircut in Denver from David. Highly recommended! read more

I have been going to Henry's and getting my hair cut by David for almost three years. He does a great job and takes the time to get your hair right. But I also like that he explains what he is doing and gives you tips to style it. If you are looking for someone who is great at men's haircuts, and want something better than a 15-minute barber buzz cut, make an appointment with David! read more

I got my hair cut and colored by Claire and I am beyond impressed at how nicely it turned out. Sadly, I haven't been able to make it back in for a touch up/recolor due to conflicting schedules. However, even four months later I am still getting compliments. It was very vibrant when first done but has faded to a nice ombre. read more

Brandi at Henry's is awesome! She has been cutting my hair for the past 5 years. I get compliments EVERY time I get a hair cut. Go see her!

I was 15 min early and still waited 20 min longer because my hair stylist ran across the street. Ok, well I knew my hair would be a lot of work and time because I wanted an ombré. I showed pictures and was very specific. The dark of my ombré is longer then I wanted, the underneath part of my hair which was the darkest should of been done first which it was not, therefore leaving the top of my hair fried because the bleach was left on way to long, and the bleach should of been washed off. Then I don't consider a good tone on wet hair right after the bleach is washed off. Spend time to dry the hair and actually put toner in. For the money pick another salon! You know your stylist isn't proud of your hair when she takes a before picture but not an after picture :) read more

I have had both, dermoplaning and microderm abrasion done by Melissa Wood. She is amazing at what she does and very knowledgeable. She takes her time to explain what she is doing and addressed any concerns I had about my skin... I can say it was a relaxing experience. Liz Ehrichs is best colorist in all of Denver. She won the 5280 award several years ago. She will make you love the color of your hair. She does only color and she is gifted at her art. She is always on time and very professional! You will adore her. read more

The stylist gets a 1 and the Salon a 5. Andre may be competent, but he gave me the color HE wanted, not the one I explicitly requested (which he had done twice before without incident). When I called the next day, the receptionist was helpful, and another stylist tried a fix at no charge (though I tipped her). After talking to sympathetic friends, I called a couple days later and explained to Henry what had happened and asked for a refund on the initial color (and tip that I stupidly left because I was in COMPLETE SHOCK). Henry may have been skeptical of my version of events, but he was responsive and I got my refund. I recommend Henry's (but beware of "edgy" Andre). read more

I had a hair nightmare there and they did nothing as far as customer service is concerned. I am highly disappointed with how they handled this. They did absolutely nothing and ignored my email after I followed up twice explaining my experience. My hair is ruined and will take a good three plus years to get back to health. It was falling out and breaking off. All I wanted was to touch up my roots and add low lights since my hair is blonde to give it some dimension. It was a catastrophe. She did my roots all over process color for blonde, then added my low lights in a second process and that turned purple for some reason. So then she had to add the gold base low lights on top of the purple to try and cancel that out and it turned black. I had black stripes in my platinum blonde hair. Additionally, the lows were not to my root and it bleed on some areas causing weird lines of dark low lights against platinum blonde. Then she had to add bleach on top of that to lift it and she burnt my hair off. I had to leave to another apt (I was there from 11AM till 4:00PM) so she didn't dry it or comb it out and when I was in my car I put my hand through it and my hair was completely falling out! I was hysterical. I don't feel it is fair that I was charged for this service. I went in to get low lights and I came out with burned off hair, completely damaged and on top of that no low lights. My hair is just all over platinum blonde which looks horrible on top of being damaged. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, tip- learn how to treat customers, especially ones that get their hair done every 4 weeks and spends $150+ per month. read more

I was in the neighborhood and needed a quick trim before a weekend trip. The front desk was very nice and able to accommodate me. Now, I'm very low maintenance when it comes to haircuts, so I usually pay around $20-30 for a basic trim. My stylist was very nice, but I felt awful for him as he pretty much coughed through my entire haircut - totally should have taken a sick day! Moreover, besides a basic shampoo/condition, he didn't put any product in my hair, which surprised me as normally I always get some kind of heat protection before they start to blow dry. I also had a screaming kid next to me, who thank goodness eventually calmed down. Then I got the bill for $75 (literally for a trim!) and it was quite the sticker shock! But, that was my fault for not inquiring price prior to cut. So all and all, I won't be going back but if you are in need day of (and have extra funds), it was fine. read more

This review is to compliment Laura L. on a wonderful manicure and pedicure. I am a person that is very honest with my reviews of the people, places, and service I receive. I am also not a person that invests a lot of time or energy into my hands or feet because I am so hard on them. I paint, do ceramics, home repairs, sew, and lets face it, I don't really pay much attention to my feet other than to throw shoes on them. I warned Laura that I had "dragon feet" and a less than stellar manicure (actually none) and she had her work cut out for her. I must say, the results afterwards were absolutely amazing. We decided on a Shellac for my hands because I am so rough on them and a regular polish on my feet. She did an amazing job transforming those "dragon feet" back into the feet of a woman and my hands look beautiful. Parking is free to customers so even though it is a downtown location a few blocks east of broadway off of 17th st. Parking is a non issue as it is right next to the building and very easy to get to. All this being said, I couldn't recommend Laura more highly! Im very happy! read more

The stylists at Henry's may be talented, but the service is unacceptable. I was not impressed with the customer service at this salon on my first visit, but decided to give it another chance because the cut that I received from Anthony was very good. I booked my appointment two weeks in advance, arrived at the salon on schedule and waited for 30 minutes with no acknowledgment from either stylist or offer of water from receptionist. When I realized that the stylist was just starting a color procedure on the current client, I approached the receptionist to find out what was going on and was told that I did not have an 11:30 appointment, but a 2:00. This was not true as I would not book an appointment 30 minutes before I need to pick up my daughter from school 20 minutes away. I was told that they could fit me in the next day at 1:00. Come next day, I called two hours in advance to confirm my appointment. When I arrived, I again waited for 20 minutes before the stylist sat down to tell me that a mistake had been made and he wasn't sure how he could fit me in as he had another client coming in at 2:00 and that oops their system didn't distinguish last names and the receptionist mistook me the day before for a client with a similar first name who then had her appointment cancelled and had to be rescheduled. The lack of apology or even concern about this issue happening two days in a row (to two clients even) was appalling. I walked out fuming and immediately went to the nearest Aveda salon where I know that customer service is the top priority. read more
