I HATE mosquitoes. They cause illness and horrible unbearable skin reactions to our entire family…read more Backyard patrol is an Awesome company with a great product. We used a different company in the past and switched because we still experienced breakthrough mosquitoes. I couldn't stand paying for a spray service while still acting as a meal to these nasty bugs. We hired Backyard Patrol and were able to enjoy the backyard over the summer without getting decimated by mosquitoes & ticks. Not sure what formula they use but it works well. A Very reliable service. Emails communications are fantastic! Customer service is awesome, very responsive. After rain, there were breakthrough events but not bad at all and they would show up right after to spray us down. I believe the key is regular and early initiation of service to combat the problem. I don't care if other critters are taken as well, a reduction in fire flies for instance. but we enjoy fire fly watching from one home down. A very small sacrifice IMO for the health and safety of my family. It's worth it to me. Mosquitoes and ticks are frightening vectors for deadly diseases and in these crazy uncertain times of pandemic, I won't risk our well being. If you pay in full you get a good discount. Hire them and take back your yard!

We still get bites on occasion, especially right before our next scheduled service, but it's 1000 times better than it was before. I am a mosquito magnet and before we started treatment I was consistently covered in bites from early May to late October--often getting 5+ bites within only a few minutes of being outside. Every time. Now I only get about 5 bites the whole season. The difference is amazing, and we are very happy with the company's service overall. It's definitely worth the very reasonable charge for seasonal service every year. We plan to continue next year for sure.

Bugs so big that they've made me afraid to step out of my home. I'm a city girl and I am just not used to this... ...And I wasn't about to get used to this either, so I hopped on Yelp to gather some quotes for some much needed pest control services. Chris from First Gen was one of the first to respond, and he was by far the most professional. He was able to squeeze me in for a next day consultation and he was both incredibly personable and wonderfully professional the whole time. During our appointment, I didn't feel like I was being sold on anything. Instead of trying to pressure me into one solution or another, he took the time to ask informed questions and get a better understanding of my needs and concerns, before making any recommendations. I walked him through the areas of my property where I was seeing the most activity and he was able to take my vague descriptions to help me identify exactly what I was seeing (because I swear some of these bugs I've never seen before in my life. There must be some new ones out here!). He then developed a customized treatment plan for how to address these particular pests, and keep them away so that I can enjoy my patio, my yard, and ultimately my property with a greater degree of comfort and ease. We scheduled my first appointment for the day after our consultation. He was very mindful and respectful of my property, as well as mindful not to disrupt my workday (since I work from home) as he perform the treatments. The cost of the services was more than fair, especially given how thorough he was with the treatments... and how please I am with the results. Chris was able to answer all of my questions thoroughly, as well as explain every product he used (He even had eco-friendly pest control products!), what it was used for, and what I could expect in the coming days and weeks. At the end of the appointment, I felt like I had a good understanding of what services were performed, which products were intended to treat which problem, and what to expect from future appointments. So far, things have been just as Chris described. I've seen exponentially less creepy crawlies (most of the ones I have seen have been dead, allowing me to sweep them into the grass) and the mosquito activity has plummeted dramatically. I feel much more comfortable not only being able to go outside again, but also to have friends and family over to hang out in the yard without having to worry about us being attacked by the worst that nature has to offer. Thanks Chris! I'll see you at our next appointment.

Sought out treatment for a mild bed bug infestation and had a terrible experience. After 3…read moretreatments, our bed bug infestation is worse than before Enviro-Tech arrived, despite my co-residents and I going above and beyond to do our part. TLDR: Enviro-Tech are unprofessional, they make verbal commitments that they go back on when pressed, and they appear to understand very little about techniques to eradicate bed bugs. The technician was extremely unprofessional and I believe his approach made our infestation worse. He had never heard of sealed mattress bags, and left them unzipped after spraying inside, allowing the bugs inside to rapidly escape before we noticed the problem. He always sprayed chemicals very randomly in the infested rooms, not displaying any system or paying close attention to whether he was addressing obvious hiding places like gaps in the baseboards, etc. He also showed up more than two hours early for both of our first treatments, without warning us in advance that he would arrive early. During our 2nd treatment, the technician attempted to apply nothing except Talstar, which is a very general pesticide. My roommate noticed this mistake and we called the office. The office agreed that it was a mistake, and that the technician was meant to spray CB80, which is more tailored to bed bugs. The technician then took a call with the office himself and informed us that Talstar is basically as good as CB80. He proceeded to spray Talstar only, and leave. Surprise surprise, we were still seeing live bed bugs over three weeks after that 2nd treatment. They can make misleading verbal commitments - whatever treatment they promise, get it in writing. During their initial inspection, and during the technician visits, two separate employees verbally assured us that after the initial rounds of treatment, we would have a 1 month warranty. If we saw any bugs alive during that period, we'd be entitled to a 3rd treatment. When we called the office seeking this 3rd treatment, they gave me a hard time and pointed out that it wasn't in our contract, arguing they really didn't need to provide it. When I continued to press for a 3rd treatment based on their verbal commitments, the office worker claimed that her computer "needed to update" and hung up on me, promising to call me back in a few minutes. After an hour elapsed, I had to call them back myself. Our experience was terrible. I don't recommend this company at all.
