Laundry service instructions not followed, that or employee doesn't have a clue how to do this job. Or machines don't rinse well and lousy detergents are used in too high concentration. Asked for 'Free and Clear' or unscented detergent for two of the items but that's not what was used. One item asked to use non-chlorine bleach to get out mildew smell. Received all items back smelling of strong scented detergent. Headache from scent just hanging them out in sun hoping it will wear off -- GROSS, not readily usable as I needed! If you want it done right do it yourself or find a better service! The management didn't apologize just a poor excuse, "whoopsie"....."bring it back next Tues. to relaunder" NO! never again! read more

Two years ago the dryers were 25 cents to get the drawer going... TODAY, you need $2.75 just to get the dryer going lol absolute trash.

I do my laundry here and I am very happy with the service and machines. Place is clean and prices are fair. The Employee is helpful and nice. It does put a $10 hold on your card for each wash and another $10 for the drying. Would be nice if they did it where they gave you a card and you can purchase credits on the card and use it in their store as needed. This would avaoid the $20 hold for like 4 days, for me. Unfortunately the dryer at home didn't work properly so I had to find a laundromat in town. Ended up at Henry's Laundromat that seems to be a clean place with plenty of working machines and dryers. Mind you; coming from LA it's not hard to find anything that is a big step up. Washers and dryers in different sizes. My laundry is drying as I'm writing. Obviously one can purchase detergent and change money. A drop off service is available at reasonable prices. They'll charge $2 for eco friendly soap which is the first time I've seen this, so thumbs up for Henry's. For local pick up and drop off they charge $5 on top of the price of your laundry. Good to know! A rush service will cost $2.25. If you're like me and don't like to iron or are in a rush: the average hand iron price is $3 per piece. The place opens at 7 and the last load can go in at 9:15pm which means they close at 10pm. It has an open feeling, seems clean and I will drop off more here when I'm in need of laundry services. And while you're waiting you can always grab a coffee from Dutch Brothers or browse for cheap stuff at the Dollar Store. read more

This is my second attempt to leave a review but the owner has bad reviews removed. The washer didn't spin out my clothes and the owner swore at me and blamed me for using too much soap. Then the dryers were not working and she yelled at me again. I left after washing 4 loads ($6 a load) and putting quarters in the dryer for over an hour with the dryer not even heating up The place is dirty; the washers snell like weed, and the owner was unhelpful. She swore at me and did not try to remedy the problem; even after the worker told me the dryers weren't working properly since no one emptied the lint. I put my clothes in the dryer, 3 quarters later, still no heat so I used a different dryer to dry, I asked old Lisandra for a refund and she laughed at me and started mocking me saying it was working, a lie of course. This place is amazing. That might sound like a weird thing to say about a laundromat. But the service is incredible - they'll pick up your laundry at home, wash it, fold it, and return it the same day. I haven't seen that kind of laundry service outside of my time living in Korea. Such a great option for busy people! Other reasons to love this place: The machines are clean and efficient and the place has a safe, not sketchy feel. That impression was validated by the amazing feat of having left my purse here on a rushed Friday night, having it turned in by a fellow customer, being generously tracked down by the owner, and then returned to me 3 days later, WITH the not-insignificant cash still in it! I am a senior who doesn't drive and as a renter in a 14 unit complex that has 1 washer & dryer, I'm happy to report that Henry's wash & fold service (with pick and delivery option) is a gamechanger for me. I was never able to get ahead of the laundry that was piling up but now I no longer stress about that chore. Lisandra is prompt, professional and very pleasant to deal with. Yes, it's a bit of a premium for this service but I recommend Henry's (especially Seniors) to take advantage of it and relax on wash day! read more

Clean and in walking distance of a few cool restaurants and shops. Service is pleasant and the gal working was super helpful in answering questions and even let us use their tennis balls to fluff our comforter. A few out of order machines but if it's not a busy day there are plenty of others working just fine. A lot of folding stations and baskets available as well. read more

I believe some of my laundry was stolen. I left the laundromat briefly right after I put the clothes in the washers, so someone would have had to open the washers mid-wash to take things out. I went back to Henry's Laundromat when I realized certain clothing items did not make it home with me. It is possible I left some out on the counter when I left. They do have a lost and found. I returned and asked to look at lost and found, but the woman behind the counter would not allow me to look. She told me to describe the items and when I did she abruptly said they weren't there. She didn't even go back and look. As the days go by, I realize more and more items are missing. I really wish she had let me look at lost and found. I have never used a wash n fold service before so when I called Lisandra she picked up right away. I work long hours and Thanksgiving is two days away and I have guests coming so laundry was the last thing on my mind. Until I realized I needed it done right away before guests come. I was able to put it outside my home first thing in the morning before I went to work and it was delivered by the time I got home. Perfect! I am so grateful for how easy this all was! The washers are rather expensive but they can accommodate a range of laundry load sizes but mostly on the larger end. For one persons laundry it can get very pricey because I always want to use the smallest washers and my laundry still doesn't fill the whole small washer. The prices range from $3 to $9 per washing machine depending on load size. But the dryers are rather inexpensive to make up for the washers. I prefer folding my laundry at home, but when I have folded it here the folding tables are pretty nice. It almost always smells like pot and cigarette smoke. Its dingy and has terrible lighting. It feels dirty. There is no wifi. A very wide range of people come here while I do. I sometimes run into friends. Sometimes strike up conversations with lovely old ladies or toddlers. I see college students to older couples to traveling vagabonds. Never a dull moment for people watching. I try to get work done but the lack or wifi can sometimes be a hinderance. So make sure whatever work you need to get done does not require internet access. read more

My review starts off bad, but in the end I have a good feeling about this place. I kept the bad description as well, because it's true, but the woman who cleans the place is super nice and helpful, so I can't stay mad. My washer broke so for the first time in a long time I had to go to the laundry mat. I saw the reviews for this place and thought, well at least it won't be too bad. Boy was I disappointed. First, upon walking in, I noticed at least 10% of the machines were out of water. No big deal, since the place wasn't too busy. Then I made my way over to the detergent dispenser, only to discover they were completely out of detergent.WTF? Now what I thought I had plenty of time to do before closing, became a rush job. I hopped in my car and drove to Safeway to buy laundry detergent since apparently the laundromat doesn't know how to stock it properly. When I got back, I went to get quarters from the coin dispensary. But instead of giving me quarters, it dispensed a bunch of monopoly coins that only can be used at this laundromat. So now if I had any left over I was out that money since no place on the planet takes this except this place. Nice. But then I thought I got lucky when all $20 worth of "coins" were used up with the three washes I did. But wait. I did two washes costing $7.25 and a third wash costing $3.25. I'm no mathematician, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't add up to $20. So either The coin dispensary short changed me or the washers overcharge me. All I know is I won't be back. Okay, now feel bad. The cleaning lady showed up and was super nice and let me stay late to finish up, so while I stand by my criticism, I also have to say they make an effort. So raising review stars. read more

I'm not a typical laundry mat user but always on road trips I get to visit at least one... This is the nicest one I have ever used. Clean washers are from single load to 5 + load size so you can do just one load if you want to. Dryers dry quick and there are lots of them. And a bonus...change machines that always work. read more

Stopped in Ashland for the day to check email, get groceries, do laundry, etc. - currently doing field work two hours south west of town. Came to Henry's for laundry and planned on buying detergent there but unfortunately they were out of the organic detergent. BUT, the woman working there gave us some of hers and some quarters to help finish drying our clothes.
