Had to wash my clothes here because my roommate sold the washing machine so she could move to LA. Some of the machines easily looked pretty old and they had these stains in the interior rubber that couldn't be scratched with a coin. The price of the basic washer was 2.50$. The bathroom was pretty clean and for an emergency would be a good spot to relieve ones self unlike the Arco down the street. Thank fully my roommate couldn't sell the dryer so i just bounced after the 30 minute wait. The dispensers are pretty old and could give you an idea of some of the technology still used here. read more

I haven't had to step foot in a laundry mat for a very long time and I was not expecting to see what I saw! 80% of the washers were not in working order, and of the 20% that didn't have duck tape across the coin slots almost half were so gross with debris and I'm sure one had some kind of fecal matter all around the drum in the lid, it's was disgusting!! I had no choice but gamble with the more expensive washers..(only 4 of them worked) then the dryers....well again had to gamble..I used 3 and only 2 actually dried my things...I wasn't surprised!! The floors look like they haven't been vacuumed in months. Trash was over filled The "bathroom" had a thin SHEET to pull across instead of a DOOR!!! AND...the machine to convert bills to quarters is of course out of order!!!!! Oh and the phone number on google doesn't work..no surprise since they probably get nothing but complaints! Hopefully my 30$ in quarters will help the owners some way or another.. read more

Suds Your Duds is a health hazard. i came here because my home dryer is broken. I wanted to leave as soon as i got there but i was limited on time and really needed clean laundry. 90% of the machines don't work, the floor is grimy littered carpet, the countertops have not been wiped down in who knows how long and i just peeked in the bathroom but it was disgusting. There were holes in the wall and the housing around some of the washers, exposing electrical wiring. no matter who needs to use this laundromat, they deserve a place that provides a experience that is not demoralizing and unhealthy. i've been in dive bars more hospitable than Suds your Duds. read more

This place is dirty. The floors are carpeted, so it's not hard to notice that there's usually debris and stains on the floor. Peek inside a washing machine to spot mildew in the door seals. Strange mysterious smells drift all about the room! The machines are ancient, in poor condition, and quite often are not functional. Out-of-order machines here are often unmarked so if you manage to serendipitously arrive on a day where one or both of the bill breaking machines are working have fun pumping your money into at least two washing machines before getting one to start. Don't bother trying to get your change back from these machines either. They will eat your quarters as if they were actually doing the washing you expect them to do. Eventually you'll find one that works! You'll know it's working when you notice the giant wet spot in the dirty carpet surrounding the washer The dryers are a similar experience. They are all gas dryers. May be a contribution to the mysterious smells referenced earlier. I wouldn't light a match in there if I were you. Expect to play the same guessing game you did with the washers only this time you MIGHT get a load to spin. Exactly that too, only spin. Check your wet clothes in a half hour to find that they are still wet because the dryer you chose does not produce any heat. Hopefully you've got plenty of time. It takes quite a while to spin a load of laundry dry. Finally you've got all your machines to work, your laundry is doing it's thing. You're due for some downtime. Reluctantly have a seat in either of the small provided seating areas. Don't worry, they aren't going anywhere, they are literally chained down! Bring a laptop or your phone to get some work done or make a call to get someone to talk you through this traumatizing laundry experience? There's FREE WIFI somewhere in there! Good luck finding the password! Maybe you're a bit peckish. If you're a gambler in for more thrills there's a vending machine that is as much a gamble as any of the other machines mentioned in this review. Not much to choose from in there though, a good portion of the vend slots are stocked with laundry supplies that will be of use when you give up here and decide to visit a different laundromat. Hey, why the long face? Have you been here for hours and not achieved much if anything at all? Just call the Suds-Ur-Duds support line. No worries if you're shy, there will be no one to speak to you on the other end. Simply leave a message that will never get a reply. Are you looking for a refund? If you're lucky you might be there at an hour when a "staff member" will be in to hastily sweep the floor and empty all of the collected change from the machines. They'll be there with a cup full of quarters to reimburse you for your attempts. Complete with a begrudging, untrusting look, and a trademark Suds-Ur-Duds smarmy attitude. All in all Suds-Ur-Duds is a place where you can really look like you're trying to start to do some laundry for a while. If you're looking to ruin your day, it's time to Suds-Ur-Duds! read more

Being new to Ashland and no washer and dryer I went looking for a laundromat. When I walked into this place the only person that was there was a guy passed out on the floor there was stuff all over the floor there was loud music playing and the change machine did not work! I imagine half the washers and dryers in that place do not work either! I would not do my laundry there even if they did! read more

So 9 p.m. is when the doors are supposed to close and not 8:20 when people are doing there laundry and have there belongings inside still. They are able to talk to customers during hours so how come my girlfriend and I waited till 10 p.m. and no one even came by to check on the place like they do every other night!!!! So I'm basically staying in the campground outside of Ashland and brought my laundry here. The dryers don't even get hot. Do not use this laundromat if you don't wanna throw money away. There isn't even a door on the freaking bathroom. Stay away because you're gonna get ripped off. read more

I just moved to the area, and had to do some laundry.. I went online and found this laundromat, went in and was very surprised to find what I found. Firstly, there was a nice fellow inside CLEANING. Counters, machines, and VACUUMING THE CARPET (yes- there is carpet on the floor). The machines worked well, and it was all in all a great laundry experience. The guy that was cleaning (and voluntarily interrupted his cleaning to help me with the door) turned out to be the owner, who explained to me that he took ownership of the laundromat in early November of 2011. I get a very strong sense that this place was a bit filthy and run down until the new owner started to actively manage the place, but I think that until I get a washer/drier set of my own that this is the place I'm doing my laundry in Ashland. As of today they should even have free WiFi. I saw the owner carry in a wireless router yesterday. read more

WORST LAUNDROMAT EXPERIENCE EVER!!! EXTREME COVID RISK!!! There are several UNMASKED men using the laundromat as a homeless shelter, their belongings and rotting food are scattered throughout. Surfaces, floors, and bathroom are FILTHY. Trashcans are overflowing. Multiple washer and dryers are inoperable...eating quarters and not working at all or randomly not registering quarters being used, dryers with no heat...DISGUSTING!!! read more

I've had two experiences here where machines have taken my money. The return coin buttons don't work, the dryers dont actually have heat, and there's no attendant to help rectify this. Tweakers love to hang out around the place after dark. I give one star for the fact that the bathroom is somehow always clean. Dont waste your time here, go to Henry's instead. Only reason I went here today is because they were closed. Wont be returning or recommending to anyone! read more

I travel around, so I get to experience a LOT of laundromats. This place was just middle of the road. It could be cleaner for sure. I like my laundry place to smell clean and this one smelled a little like sour pants. Yuck. Also, the prices are on the high side. The thing that I really ding them for is that the bathroom door was locked. I don't really care what they may have had to deal with regarding the bathrooms, but you need to offer a bathroom for people using the laundromat. read more

As far as places for duds-sudsing go, this is one one FINE establishment. My girlfriend and I have adopted this place and have gone three times in the last month. It's clean, there's plenty of different-sized washers, and it's not too spendy, either. There's even a cheap sushi place around the corner! My only beefs are the lack of a general-use utility sink and the amount of counter space. We've never personally run into space issues, but we've also always been in the later part of the evening. Definitely recommend Suds-Ur-Duds for all duds-dudsing! read more

A mess!! Both change machines out of order. Washing machine surfaces were a mess. Actually got a stain on a shirt from gunk on the machine. Dryers are historic and eat your quarters. Paid two quarters for every one that registered credit. No owner or worker around at all to assist customers. read more

I stopped in and ran a load of laundry while traveling. The space was clean, there were plenty of machines for a fairly small establishment, and everything appeared to be in working order. The only drawback was limited seating, but I didn't mind as I was only there an hour. Oh..and yes, they had wi-fi. :) read more

Clean, practical. Served our purposes of getting some clean clothes after the wilderness portion of our trip. Our washing machine freaked out on us and rumbled like crazy. Happened to the guy who used it after us, so it wasn't our clothes. Wish there was more seating available. They were out of fabric softener when we were there. read more

Then 07/30/17 8:13pm "can I try get u the money tomorrow... not gona be home till later tonight" Ask them to just mail a check, and no reply ever again. 8/2/17 I continue trying to make contact: no reply. Save your money and go elsewhere. I'm sick of giving money away for nothing. They have a counter on the coin machine, they serviced it, they know it shorted me, they have cameras, and they're not responding. They probably don't care about losing a customer, but they lost this one and every person in my apt building has been informed of this as well. It takes 5 seconds to reply to a text. Fun to do some laundry and watch the tweakers come in late and do circles while they do their laundry and watch it dry oh so impatiently!

Decent place. Not amazing but it will do what you need it to do (wash and dry your clothes). Not a lot of folding places but other than that it's good. We go when we are in town visiting and while the clientele can be eclectic it feels safe. The machines ran out of soap for sale but you can get it at the drugstore across the parking lot. read more
