These ladies (2 of 'em) are unhinged. I tried to get them to fix their work (see pics) All I wanted was a couple pairs of shorts 2 inches longer than the pair I brought in, both were made uneven (a full inch difference in legs) one pair was essentially the same as the old pair in length, the other like a 1/2 longer. Went in to try to see if I could get them fixed and they lost their sh*t on me- so now we go to small claims... great. Keep your sh*t together ladies- there are better ways to fight the patriarchy... trust me I have been to this business like 5 times over 20 years and all the other times it was fine- not sure what happened, must be new ownership or something. Since the pandemic, I've been doing a lot of online shopping! With that said, some of the clothing I order arrives too big or too small. I brought 5 pairs of jeans in to be altered, each of them only needed about 1-2 inches taken in at the waist. Julie was quick and responsive, and she explained how she would be altering my jeans while I was there. Each pair would cost $25, and she had them all finished in about 3 weeks -- you pay once you /pick up/ your jeans. I tried them all on once I came home and they fit almost perfectly, which I was super stoked about! There were a lot of loose threads here and there, so the work seemed just a bit rushed. My only complaint is /all/ pairs of my jeans "puff up" at the bottom of where the alterations were done, making the space above the back pockets look poofy if you look at it closely...? It looks strange but I can live with it. Edit: just discovered a big hole in a pair of my pants :( probably due to lack of reinforced stitching somewhere after the alteration? I understand nobody is perfect, but $25/pair is relatively spendy and I would've hoped the quality reflects the price :( read more

I am a woman on the go. I recently decided I wanted to go to San Francisco by motorcycle. I set out on a Saturday excited about the ride. About 15 minutes into the ride I am doing 70+ on I5 and the zipper on the right leg of my one-piece suit fails. If I fall or crash, I am going to be seriously injured. This is not an option. I head home. I look on youtube for zipper repair and stop by a fabric store. No luck as the zipper on this suit is quite large. My son says, "Call the alteration center that does my clothes and maybe they can tell you where to go." Despite them closing within five minutes of my call, the woman who answered said she will stay open. I assumed I would get the zipper doohickey that I needed and head home to repair it myself. She had other plans. She took my dirty, bug-coated suit and proceeded to repair the zipper. (Hey, I didn't expect anyone but me to be touching that dirty suit!) It takes some muscle on her part but damn if she didn't get it done there on the spot. I did not have to rush around Medford to find a zipper slider. I did not have to learn how to repair a zipper. Instead, I chatted with a bunch of cool ladies and patted Arlo, the shop dog, on his tummy. When she gave me the total for the repair (part, plus her time and putting a few stitches in to hold the zipper together), the total was way, way too low. I have had the same repair done on another suit by the manufacturer. It was four weeks of lead time, round trip shipping, plus $175.00. I was charged less than 10% of that and my trip was saved. This place is EPIC. I did not expect them to work on my nasty suit. I did not expect them to stay open late. But I am super stoked by them doing so and for their great service. This owner and her workers are unprofessional, and gave horrible and incompetent service. They made no up-front disclosures of their shoddy limitations. All I wanted was zippers put in 2 pants. The tatted grunge lady, adorned with pentagrams ....said "no problem". Well, she put a bright white and a lighter colored zipper in the crotches of the pants and absolutely ruined them. Who wants attention drawn to their crotch...not me! Then the owner both said she would fix them ...but that I needed to provide my own materials....CRAZY! A normal company would have said...'we will remove the zippers and sew the pants back up at NO CHARGE...because of our FAILURE to disclose limitations which involved customers bringing in their own fabric/ zippers'... And the prices were outrageously expensive....but the rotten attitudes were FREE! read more

They refused to help me with a coat alteration without charging exorbitant prices. Really, $200 to size down a coat is absurd, and what added insult to injury is that they weren't very nice or even helpful. Historically have had alterations on slacks done at Men's Wearhouse but they were short staffed on tailors and couldn't do it. Had no idea where else to go and this place was recommended. Was a little hesitant but walked in with three pairs of slacks and Julie walked right up and offered to help measure the pants to make sure we got them right. She was patient and helpful and got them all pinned up quickly. Picked up the three pairs of slacks a week later and all fit great. Highly recommend! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. The dress does not fit. After trying on the dress the first time after the initial fitting it didn't fit. I was told it just needed a few minor adjustments and we'd be good to go. Well they had the dress for a month. Did not communicate with me once, I had to call them. And when I called them the dress still had pins in it. When I expressed to the "owner" that I was upset and concerned she told me "you're lucky you weren't charged more" and "I'll take the pins out right now and you can come pick it up as is" mind you I already paid in full which was clearly a mistake on my part. I wish I could have picked it up as is but I already paid and the event was in 2 days. I was charged $30 for a longer zipper, which wasn't done. The whole thing is a complete mess. I had to make adjustments myself for the dress to even be functional. I feel ugly in my dress. I cry every time I look in the mirror. But I am most upset about how I was treated. They claim to have guarantee, says it right on their website. However they did not stand by that in my case. If it was too big a job for them I wish I would have been told. But instead they took on the job and left me with an absolute disaster. If you need a garment altered for a special event I would think twice before using these seamstresses. Wanted to give one star -- but gave an extra for speed (had it done & ready for pickup in 7-10 days.) I wasn't overly impressed with my bridesmaid dress alterations. I had it hemmed and the bust adjusted. The hem was much shorter than I wanted (its floor length and the hem comes off the floor by about an inch.) I brought my shoes when I came in for the alterations and again at pickup. I was disappointed when I put my dress on and felt it looked ill-fitting. Wasn't feeling good when I walked out of the dressing room and didn't feel any better after paying $100 for my alterations ($60 for the hem I hated.) Probably wouldn't use them again or would insist that my hem is much longer than they "recommend" so that it actually touches the floor on a "floor length" gown. read more

And I have never looked further, as this place is THE place to go for alterations, tailoring, repairs, re-styling, etc. etc. My friends go there. My family goes there. And I will always go there. Each project I've brought to them has been done so well, and so quickly, and at such a reasonable price, that I am happy to sing their praises. The most recent project? A hand embroidered Guatemalan vest that I wanted to turn into a throw pillow! They did it with an invisible zipper, the perfect amount of plumpness, and beautiful piping around the edges. Pam is incredible!! I am quite a perfectionist and was really worried about the fit of my dress. Pam was patient with me and made every effort to make sure that everything turned out perfectly - and it did. My strapless dress was so comfortable and I never once worried about it falling down on the day of my wedding. When I came in to do my fitting a few months in advance, she found out that I was worried about losing weight and changing my size, so she told me to come back the month before my wedding. I was so appreciative that she was able to make the alterations so close to my wedding date. She is such a sweet person and a pleasure to work with. I tried 2 other locations this morning to get some simple measurements taken for a custom wedding dress. I literally needed someone to wrap a tape measure around me a few times and right down the numbers. Pretty simple. A family member of mine had a really good experience here but unfortunately I cannot say the same. I brought my wedding dress here and it was completely defaced. Seams were crooked, my sash was poorly tacked on in the wrong place and the hem was jagged. There were literally chunks of tulle just hanging off. When I went in to talk about the crooked seems Pam first acknowledge it then switched and rudely told us she didn't see what we were talking about. She laughed in our faces. I would not recommend this place. I spent almost $300 there to have to have someone else pull my dress completely apart and fix it. read more

My initial experience with Paula when I brought my dress in was fabulous! She was great and really helpful with the fitting and getting my measurements. But that's where the great experience ended. I did bring my dress in on short notice but was up front about the turnaround time that I needed and I was assured it would be taken care of. Basically, their turnaround is generally 7 days. I needed my dress in 4 as I was traveling for an event out of town. I wasn't able to pick up my dress on that 4th day, but NEVER RECEIVED COMMUNICATION THAT WAS DRESS HADN'T EVEN BEEN WORKED ON! I showed up the following day pretty late in the afternoon and still no one had started on my dress, which I couldn't believe since it was noted on my claim ticket when the dress was expected. I asked the ladies to do something about the cost, it was $20 per layer since it was a formal dress and they said the best they could do was take off $5 which didn't really satisfy me as a customer. I fully plan on disputing this entire charge with my credit card company and won't be returning as a customer, which is upsetting because I'm new to the rogue valley and was excited that I had found what I thought was a great place for alterations.
