    Shrimp gandy...yum!

Stopped in for a bite after work and I must say not bad, not bad at all. I was not in the mood for anything in particular, so I went with the shrimp (shrimp gandy) appetizer, that was lightly fried and served with sauce atop of mixed greens...lets just say it was so good that I ordered another serving! Lol! I think there were about 6 shrimp on the plate for around $14-15...although yummy a bit on the pricey side. I Also enjoyed a nice red blend from the bar. Customer service was just ok. My server was not very helpful with recommendations, but the other server in the room was attentive. Over not bad, and I just might be back!

Small place but a gold mine. Fiancé had the filet, asparagus and pot. soup. I had the fish tacos. Everything was delicious. Atmosphere was great, table by the door opened the door for us and the table next to us asked to hold our baby while we eat. Owner was super nice and touched every table. Though we are only traveling through, it felt like home and we will definitely be back when we pass through again.

    Shrimp and sweet potatoes

I read the reviews and decided to take a chance. Fun vibe when you walk into the place. The shrimp is fresh prepared and the sweet potato chips with honey/ blue cheese dip was like a yummy dessert. The asparagus was too thin so was a little tough but the seasoning was good. Finally, I asked for a virgin drink and the bartender came up with a pineapple smoothie that was very tasty. Definitely will be back.

Food is good but has gotten very pricey. Wait staff is very attentive and approachable. To me it is too dark needs more softer lighting.

The interior is nice for date night or drinks with friends. It's versatile in there. Our server:Taylor, was super cool, and attentive. The owner comes out and speaks to everyone, saying: "hey how's everyone doing tonight, I appreciate y'all coming in!" He does this to every table. That alone makes this one of the few places here in Albany with outstanding customer service. We had the brown sugar glazed salmon over rice, grits, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, hush puppies, and Wasabi Tuna The salmon was a bit dry, and a little small: not worth $33, I believe it was. The rice tasted like the boil in a bag minute rice. Mashed potatoes, grits, and Tuna were all pretty good. The Brussels sprouts were delish and so were the hush puppies! Overall the food was decent enough, but nothing fancy for the price. I'm sure there are other items on the menu worth the cost. Having said that; I'll recommend visiting this dining establishment:)

A quick glance at the menu showed crab claws, and that sold me immediately -- I love crab claws. When I arrived, the place was packed. I was told there'd be a 20-30 minute wait, which surprised me for Albany, GA. The host explained it was half-off oyster night, so I figured I'd hit the jackpot -- oysters and crab claws? Perfect. Unfortunately, the excitement faded a bit from there. They didn't offer chargrilled oysters, only baked with parmesan or raw. I went with a dozen baked oysters and an appetizer of crab claws. The crab claws came out first. They were small to medium in size and tasted fine overall -- nothing bad, just smaller than I expected for the price. Then the oysters arrived, and they were very small, smaller than my thumbnail, with no seasoning other than the cheese. Not impressive. I ordered another dozen hoping the first batch was a fluke, but the second dozen was even smaller. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly, and service was great. But the oyster size was easily the smallest I've ever been served at a restaurant. This was my first time in the area and my only visit, but based on the oysters alone, I wouldn't return.

Obviously we immediately stopped eating because that's a serious safety concern. We politely contacted the restaurant to let them know what happened and asked for a refund, but the manager was rude and dismissive about the situation and refused to help. Finding a foreign object in food is bad enough, but the way it was handled made the experience even worse. This could have seriously hurt someone. At the very least, we expected an apology and a refund, but instead we were treated like the issue didn't matter. I hope the restaurant takes food safety more seriously in the future so this doesn't happen to someone else.

There were muddy foot prints on the very sticky floor. It rained the previous day so that means the floor had not been mopped since. There was random bits of paper around the floors too. Just not a good start. The food order was correct. We ordered a pretty large spread for 4 people to try the place out. The wings are on the small side but good. The philly was ok. It should be kinda messy since it was all the way but it was dry. It tasted fine though. Everything else was just ok too. So again, we might try them again because sometimes you just catch a place on a bad night but in the end we will probably stick with the wing place on Ledo.

I think she wanted something to take my mind off the impending storm. This did the trick. For me, being able to watch the chef make my meal was just as good, if not better, than the meal. This was my first hibachi experience and I would have to say it was a good one. My friend and I started with an order of sushi. We got the deep fried crab delight roll. It was very good. My husband and my neighbor both got the Sukiyaki steak dinner. It came with soup, salad, and fried rice. I got a side of scallops and had a few bites of my husband's rice. The rice was good, but the scallops were a little over cooked, at least in my opinion. My husband really enjoyed his meal, as did my friend. Our chef was fun to watch and he was, well, fun! While I have no plans to be in the area again (at least not for the reason I was there this time) I would eat here again.
