Overall, I waited about 25-30 minutes to receive my order. I placed a total of nine orders on one ticket. I was not pleased that a pound of king crab legs is $55. I was also not pleased that the shrimp were small, and not medium size. The shrimp were overcooked, rubbery, and had little seasoning. There was more oil than any other seasoning in each bag. I had to search for handwritten order numbers that had been written on each bag with a marker. The numbers should have been written on stickers, then placed on each bag. I do not see a return visit in my future. As a foodie, I was not impressed with the food. Plus, the waiter was not friendly. She was also on her cellular phone while entering, and immediately after cashing out my order. I do not recommend wasting time or an artery at the place.

The interior is nice for date night or drinks with friends. It's versatile in there. Our server:Taylor, was super cool, and attentive. The owner comes out and speaks to everyone, saying: "hey how's everyone doing tonight, I appreciate y'all coming in!" He does this to every table. That alone makes this one of the few places here in Albany with outstanding customer service. We had the brown sugar glazed salmon over rice, grits, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, hush puppies, and Wasabi Tuna The salmon was a bit dry, and a little small: not worth $33, I believe it was. The rice tasted like the boil in a bag minute rice. Mashed potatoes, grits, and Tuna were all pretty good. The Brussels sprouts were delish and so were the hush puppies! Overall the food was decent enough, but nothing fancy for the price. I'm sure there are other items on the menu worth the cost. Having said that; I'll recommend visiting this dining establishment:)

Wow never ran into a manager like the woman in charge tonight…read more We ordered Creole shrimp as an appetizer. It was brought out with the entree. It was mushee and coated in so much grease (creole butter) that it was unacceptable to eat. I infomed the waiter, who then informed the manager, whom I did not ask to speak to. She comes to my table and informs me that it is the butter, and then proceeded to go into a loop about the butter. Listen I hear you but all I'm saying is it not worth eating, she comes back and goes into a rant (loopin again) about not giving me a refund. Listen missie, I don't care about a refund, I am just letting you know that it is not good. Basically a loss of a customer forever because she doesn't have people skills. End result we had to listen to some more looping about something else for 10 mins until she finally went and brought us our check so we could leave. I think she wanted something to take my mind off the impending storm. This did the trick. For me, being able to watch the chef make my meal was just as good, if not better, than the meal. This was my first hibachi experience and I would have to say it was a good one. My friend and I started with an order of sushi. We got the deep fried crab delight roll. It was very good. My husband and my neighbor both got the Sukiyaki steak dinner. It came with soup, salad, and fried rice. I got a side of scallops and had a few bites of my husband's rice. The rice was good, but the scallops were a little over cooked, at least in my opinion. My husband really enjoyed his meal, as did my friend. Our chef was fun to watch and he was, well, fun! While I have no plans to be in the area again (at least not for the reason I was there this time) I would eat here again.

We requested seating near the front, but was informed that the waitress for that area wasn't on until 12:00. Mind you, it was 11:50 and we could have waited the 10 minutes, but apparently, that didn't seem to be an option. I didn't want to press my point, so we just settled at a seat farther in the back. Our server took our order, but it really seemed as if he didn't want to be there. Not very attentive, but not openly rude. We did notice that he was much more attentive to the family that was seated next to us. But, I suppose these situations just happen. Perhaps he didn't like the way we looked - who knows! Anyway, we started off with the cheesy biscuits and the fried green tomatoes that were delicious (though a bit greasy). It also seemed that the cheese in the cheesy biscuits wasn't melted. We actually thought there were bits of carrots in the bread. Not sure what kind of cheese doesn't melt when baked. Anyway, our table entrees included fried shrimp, fried catfish, grilled snapper, and steak. We all really did enjoy the food, though we had to send back an order (steak arrived well done, but medium rare is what was ordered); we finally received the steak as requested, but after the rest of the table had already started eating (or our food would have gotten cold); never good when an order has to be sent back due to the server's error - this just throws the whole table off. Anyway, did receive the correct order a little over ten minutes later. The good food may draw me back to the restaurant when I am in town again, but I will be sure that we have a different server.
