The salesperson (I'm not naming names) only showed us those we looked at and a few we happened to see while there. He did not look on his inventory to see if there were anything comparable to what we were asking for. We had found one we liked and had to wait for them to get the camper ready. We waited a week and nothing but crickets. Details are everything. The camper's jack foot was covered by dirt and gravel and the salesperson was like, "Oh, we just moved it here..." There was a lot that could have been done but didn't because there was no urgency to make a sale. Nothing comparable was offered or shown. Only after we talked about one camper did my wife go home and search their inventory did we find other campers that were better than the one we originally enquired about. This could have been a much better process. We went to a competitor in the area and it was night and day. The salesperson knew their inventory, helped us see comparable units, and their team from finance to their general manager were proactive and helped us find a much better deal than what we could have found elsewhere. I've never been to a business that seemed to care less whether they sold a product or not. This was the case here. From a leadership and management standpoint there needs to be a hard look at this situation and corrections made in order to improve their organization. The whole interaction made no sense. But, their loss was a competitor's gain. Time is money folks - don't make your customer wait.

Brought our brand new travel trailer in for warrenty awning work and an inspection sticker…read more Needless to say, after a couple weeks we called YOU and were told our camper was ready for pickup. My husband asked TWICE if the inspection was done and was told it was ready. A couple days later we show up to pick up the camper and not only was the inspection NOT done, the awning repair was sloppy at best. Was told by the manager if we left it till Monday it would get taken care of, and he was nice and apologetic, but my husband is a busy man and we didn't have faith it would be taken care of. Stopped by Camping World on the way out and they not only repaired the awning but they inspected the trailer all in an hour and a half with no appointment. Very disappointing first and last experience.

I purchase a 2014 JAYCO FLIGHT 264BH Swift Travel Trailer on July 30th, 2014 and I also purchased…read morethe 7 year "soup-to-nuts" warranty. I'm a newbie regarding the usage of a travel trailer but just the thought of the freedom I can enjoy makes me sure I made the right decision. This unit, in my opinion, is more the entry-level position regarding pricing and features. The Pro and Con of my model are: PRO * 2-year warranty from JAYCO. * Plenty of standard features * Dale "Marty" Martin. His no-pressure style and his ability to explain the operations of a travel trailer demonstrate his commitment to excellence CON * There are no checklists such as: getting ready to leave, setting-up, preparing to winterize, etc. * The two 20# propane could be replaced with two 30# tanks. ADDITIONAL ITEMS These items should be listed as "Must have" for first timers. (These can't be list under the "CONs" category because if you are upgrading to a new unit you may already have several of these items): 1. Water pressure regulator 2. 90oor a 45oelbow to attached to the WPR 3. In-line water filter system 4. 25' or 50' flexible hose for potable water 5. 10' or 15' or 20' black water discharge tubing 6. Toilet bowl cleaner, freshener in liquid or gel-packs 7. Winterizing fluids 8. Weight distribution hitch system 9. Sway control bar 10. Wheel chocks 11. Wheel leveler (one per axle) 12. Propane tanks protector SERVICE I deliberately saved this category until last. The after sale, to me, is the most important but sadly is the most lacking. There is a probability of a 1:1,000,000 where I can what I need from my expectations of a rapid response time, professionalism and patience when I'm am trying to explain what is wrong. I was inspecting the travel trailer as I did every day for the first week but this particular day it was raining hard. I had found a leak and from an unknown source. I took pictures to document the leak. I was hoping to "avoid further damage" as per my warranty instructions. Then I shot an email describing my findings to Berglund Outdoors. My wife had sent a more intense email citing quality issues. I promptly received a call from the Service Manager and he stated what we should do to evaluate the leak. I stated that he should come to my house to caulk the leak. The Service Manager said he would try to get the authorization. In about 5 minutes, the Sales Manager (Phil) call and he said any repairs would have to take place in his shop. So I took the position that it was, after all, a caulking job and didn't he know that we had not made the first payment and we would nullify the sales contact or I should go to JAYCO and demand satisfaction from them? Maybe I should take it to another a dealer? And what about the floors in the leaky storage compartment? After all it was outdoors for at least year? Phil listened carefully when I went through the tirade and he just said "Why don't (Berglund Outdoors) evaluate the extant of the leak and we can get in touch with JAYCO if the leaks requires it". I said I would think about it and I would get back to Phil. Marty who was unavailable for my call contacted my wife early the next day. Berglund Outdoors had a solution to our problem. That day they towed the travel trailer, put it in the shop where they could do the warranty work, fail in the attempts to duplicate the leak but on my documentation replaced the seal (caulking was not the answer) and towed it back to my home. For the next couple of rainstorms there wasn't a drop of water found anywhere. The issue was resolved! I had rapid response time. By escalating my concerns, not taking my tantrum personally and finally coming up with a solution agreeable to all of us, demonstrated a professionalism rarely seen these days. Finally the patience everyone showed me means they are one in a million in the commitment of quality service. Thanks everyone at Berglund Outdoors!
