I had family members that used this garage and they raved about it. The employees are friendly and honest. The owner showed me lots of other issues with the car. He wasn't trying to needlessly pile on lots of extras just to make money. He showed me how badly the frame had rusted on my car. I was amazed at the holes & damage caused over time by driving over roads treated with salt for snowstorms. Several garages that have changed our oil never mentioned all the problems with the car. One more DC pothole could have really done some damage. A new computer "thingy" had recently been put in the car. The garage's diagnostic machine aka "computer thingy" was unable to read issues with the car and it was suggested that I have a dealership update the computer. That would allow the card to "talk" to the diagnostic machine. When my car made it clear that I was not going to make it back home, the team gave their best diagnosis, which was to replace the battery. Removing the old battery allowed things to be "reset." The gas needle worked and a few other issues were fixed while the car was in the shop. I was lucky to be close to the garage when my car broke down. The owner towed my car and his team replaced the battery. They fixed several issues in less than one day. If AAA can tow your car to the garage, I would suggest that instead of paying for a tow. I would go out of my way to visit this garage since they were so decent (they sell cars too). The business is run by a family. They seem service oriented rather than focusing on profits. I may still follow up with a dealership to make sure the computer continues to work properly.

Found this company after calling many others (for about 2-3 hours) and no one could get to us in a timely manner. It was a Saturday about 4 pm. Others said they couldn't help until 1 am or the next day (Love's and TA). It's unsafe to be on the side of the road that long, needless to say. Our knight in shining armor's name was Andrew. He came, changed the hose and refilled antifreeze, and he made sure everything was done quickly (half hour) and thoroughly. Got us back on the road by 9 pm. He was knowledgeable, confident, polite, friendly and had empathy. Billing process was easy and quick. Received a printed invoice right there on the spot. It would be great if all places operated as efficient. Absolutely outstanding service from Andrew from Excel.

We really only needed to fill up the car, use the restroom, and get back on the road, and this location worked perfectly for what we needed. Getting gas was quick and easy. There were plenty of pumps available when we arrived, so we did not have to wait around. The area around the pumps was easy to get in and out of, which is always something I appreciate when stopping during a long road trip. I also went inside to use the restroom and was happy to see that it was clean. For a travel stop that gets a lot of people coming through, especially travelers and truck drivers, having a clean bathroom makes a big difference. Everything looked like it was being taken care of during our early morning visit. We did not buy any food or spend much time inside since this was strictly a quick fuel and bathroom stop. The location was surrounded by some really nice mountain scenery, which was a nice bonus early in the morning. Overall, this was a good, clean, and convenient stop along our road trip.

The owner was responsive to our calls, answered all of our questions and was very easy to work with. After test driving the car he even offered to do a trade in with our old car and the next day we went back to finalize all the paperwork. He took care of everything for us and the whole thing was so easy. He has helped us out in the past when we had an issue with our other car. Another autoshop told us we needed a whole new transmission, and basically said we may as well scrap it, but after talking to Bahhurs they ended up just replacing the rear differential which saved us thousands of dollars. This car ran for several more years after that without problems. It was for this reason we wanted to buy our car from them as we knew we would not be given the run around. Our car was checked by their in-house auto shop and is running great. I was nervous of the whole idea of buying a used car but they made the whole experience quite painless! Thank you.

We were told by them that the Mack truck would be full inspected and made sure everything is good to go. We drive 8 hours to get there. Look at the truck and it's in the garage. Which we now know they just parked it there that morning because there were No leaks underneath. A lot of paint on it. We drive it and it seems okay. We have never owned a dump truck before and they knew that. We do the paperwork come out to leave and notice a big leak of hydraulic fluid underneath. I go back in and tell the salesman. He gets a tech to look at it and tell me it's probably just over filled. But they would pay to fix it if it needs repair. So we drive back. Take to a hydraulic place. Cost 3200 to get it fixed. Atkinson only pays 1400. Said they could have fixed it for that. Then why didn't they? Then we find out Atkinson DID NOT do a DOT inspection which is required before they sell. When we first asked about the inspection he said their garage flooded and lost the paperwork. Then later we are told they did not do a inspection. It costs us another 1700 to get the truck able to pass Dot inspection. Multiple things. Tranny leak loose king pins. Wipers. Lights and more. We have been a month and still not on the road because of Atkinson lieing to us. They just paint over the problems to make them look good. Then We put a load in the bed for the first time. Guess what ? The pump is bad! Boy Atkinson really give us a screwing. We understand stuff happens in trucking. Which is what the salesman told me when we were telling him. But you spend almost 100k on a dump truck and are told they went through it and make sure it's good you don't expect to have to spend another 6k to get it on the road. We have plans to by two more trucks next year and will not go to Atkinson. They have a nice place up there and a nice selection. And can help with finance. But man! This is the worst screwing I've had. Jason Payne doesn't care. He was rude. Salesman was friendly and we told him that but hey they're salesmen. If you buy from them check the truck over and over and over. Even put a load in it cause if you take it and put 20 tons in it and the pump is bad like us you got a problem!
