This clown was shopping on Amazon asking another member of the staff advice on purchasing a CPU…read more Right in the operating room. Right in front of me. In front of all the staff. Right before he was going to perform a colonoscopy. I had to fight his miserable office to get my results. When I called him out on him shopping on Amazon instead of actually focusing on his job, this clown doubled down: he told me he was not "shopping" and he watches videos and news between procedures. SMH I'm so sorry your patients are so boring and unimportant that you have to shop in between operations.

My husband and I both had colonoscopies done by Dr. Kuritzkes in the past (10 and 5 years ago…read morerespectively). We were both very happy with Dr. Kuritzkes, his staff, the facility, the ease of everything, etc. Sadly, all of that has changed, and NOT for the better!!!! My husband was due for his colonoscopy again. He called the office and ended up speaking to someone in - I kid you NOT - India! They have a third world country answering service that doesn't speak understandable English. So then I tried calling...same thing. I tried calling at different times and you get a computer message that the voicemail is full so you can't leave a message. No one ever answers the phone. If you call the surgical center, they give you the office phone number you already tried calling. At some point, after numerous attempts, the hubs got ahold of someone and set up a consultation appt. He was sent a draconian amount of crap to fill out online and was super irritated about that. His consult appt was fine, and they told him he needed to get an EKG from his regular dr first. They also couldn't find the pharmacy - CVS for fucksake - even though we gave them the address and phone number. He called his doctor and told them about the EKG and they said, we can't just do an EKG without some specific order or reason, so THEY tried to call Kuritzkes' office and called us back and said, we can't get through to any live person or voicemail. I said, absolutely NOT. We are not having surgical procedures done with a facility and/or doctor whose office is literally impossible to communicate with. How do you even get your results or ask questions, or get things sent from them to your dr etc., if you need to? Newsflash - you can't. So, we decided to find another place to get our procedures handled. Funny thing was, he couldn't even cancel his procedure because he couldn't get ahold of anyone! He finally had to call the Burbank office, and they had to actually TRANSFER the call to the SCV office because they also couldn't get through when they tried to call there. That was how he canceled his procedure. It's really sad that it's devolved into whatever it is now.

Months of doctors visits, no answers and frustration finally I was with a Dr. that knew exactly what I was feeling and I was able to get some answers. Staff is very Kind. He's even kinder. My experience with Dr. Frederick Boghossian at Adventist Hospital was one of the most traumatic…read moremedical encounters I have ever had. This was my first time undergoing both a colonoscopy and an endoscopy, and I came in with understandable anxiety and many questions. Instead of receiving reassurance or compassion, I was spoken to harshly and felt dismissed and humiliated. I had clearly requested to be fully under anesthesia during the procedure, but this was not honored. I was only informed about sedation at the very last minute as I was being taken into the procedure room. While I was still talking with the doctor, a nurse suddenly administered sedation without my consent. I remember waking up in severe pain, feeling panicked and helpless as several nurses physically held me down -- I ended up with scratches on my hands from struggling. No patient should ever be put through that kind of experience. The colonoscopy was never completed because the pain was unbearable. I was sent home without being seen again by Dr. Boghossian. To his credit, he did call later to apologize and admitted that the situation was handled unethically, saying he would request anesthesia if the procedure were to be repeated. But I will never go back to him again. Adding to all this, my prep experience was terrible. Despite explaining in advance that I have a gag reflex and vomiting issues, no one took the time to explain that there were different prep options or flavors that could have made the process more tolerable. I left this experience feeling emotionally and physically violated. No patient deserves to be treated this way. Please be cautious and make sure your concerns and consent are fully respected before any procedure.

Told me "I'm making sure no ones trying to screw you" she said this to me after i asked if she even knew what I was calling about before cutting me off . After I called her out for saying such a thing. she just puts me on hold. Then a woman named Ana picks up. Who's not any better at her job then Heather. I ask her what's the woman's name that I just spoke too. She says hold on and puts me on hold. As to find out if she should tell me her name. Comes back and tells me Her name was Heather. Who knows if this is really her name. I tell Ana I called at 9am regarding my test results for a procedure done 3 weeks ago. I was told that they would call me back to find out what's happening because it should only take 7 to 10 days. I followed up at 2pm and now Ana states that she never spoke to me. And she states that she was the only one taking calls that morning. This the type of staff this place has? So I told her. That I have a outgoing call to this exact number and durations 7 min. So I'm lying? She starts to go into how rude I'm being and just puts me on hold. I have to hang up call back and she picks up just puts me on hold. Comes back says sorry I can't find the manager. I never had an issue trying to speak to someone with some type of professionalism in a doctors office before. Somehow I can't reach a nurse, doctor or a manager to give me an update on what happened with a test that was done 3 weeks ago. The doctors amazing but the staff couldn't be any less qualified to work with patience. I've had better customer service at mc Donald's. Heather is particular has 0 class Saying "screw you" to a patient.

Taking couple of over the counter medication, seeing multiple doctors, & then I was told that I need to see a Gastroenterologist and see why am I having so much pain? Where is this uncomfortable feeling coming from? The gastroenterologist gave me a referral to go and get it checked out by doing a CT scan. He said maybe your digestive/intestines are not functioning properly . Set up an appointment for yesterday 11/9/2025 and went in to do my CT scan. I didn't know they were open on weekends between the hours of 8am to 7pm to do all scans, procedures, etc... My appointment time was at 4pm, but due to not having to do the contrast, they called me in sooner. I was greeted by Sergio at the check in and he was the only one working when they were 4 other windows open. I don't know, it was a Sunday, and didn't have too many people to attend. He welcomed me with a warm smile and gave me an ACTUAL PAPERWORK for me to fill out. NOT A TABLET! Crystal, the technician who was going to do this minor procedure.. CT scan, called me in and explained all the details in the most confident/descriptive way that was possible, She was nice, kind, thorough, helpful, professional, and knew her job very well! Also made me feel relaxed, & told me that it will take 5 minutes. It was a quick, fast, and easy procedure. The facility/waiting area was big,CLEAN, kind of bright inside, unique looking... for a facility: with nice decor/art work on the walls all over. However, the bathroom that I used once, needed a major attention, no toilet paper, floor was dirty and toilet was not flushed. The door of their changing room was left open and 2 lockers were open and gowns were on the seat when it should have been placed in the hamper with the other used gowns. Underground parking, and very close to my house. Let's hope my results come back normal/negative. Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping everything works out for the Best! Thank you Crystal & Sergio.
