This was my first time getting a Henna tattoo. I was shopping around the mall with some friends when we decided to stop by this store and get a henna tattoo. At first they were low in staffing, but they called an extra person to come in. They even stayed past regular closing hours. The Henna artists were very friendly and I had an excellent experience for getting my first Henna tattoo. The friends who got tattoos with me also enjoyed their experience. I would recommend anyone else who is thinking of getting a Henna tattoo to stop by their shop and try it. They have a little catalogue with different henna designs you can choose from and a variety of price ranges. They even have classes that teach you the technique of doing Henna. If you want to learn more, you'll have to stop by and ask about it. The artist who specifically did my Henna tattoo's name was Susan, I believe. She did a great job on her design which she did for me. She modified the design I originally selected in the catalog for a slightly bigger fee and I was quite happy with the end result. The other Henna artist was awesome too from what I saw when working with other customers. (I think her name was Marjele... I am terrible at names) But In conclusion I would most likely return again in the future. :-) read more

Hi I was at the superstition springs mall location sometime last week. And Sabrina or Serena the young lady that was helping me out was being talked down to by someone who I think was a supervisor by the name of Izzy . She has no idea how to talk to employees. The poor girl looled like she wanted to cry . I immediately put down the things that I was going to purchase and walked out of that store . I am not going to spend money at a store where management does not know how to talk to there employees. That was the worse experience that I had at that store location. I feel That Izzy should be fired or get proper training in how to talk to employees. The young lady that was helping me has done plenty of hennas on me . And I went in today looking for her and they told me they transferred her to another location! Who ever made that decision . Made a Huge mistake . You all should have transferred Izzy . My son seen how upset I was And told me mom they need to fire that lady . I will never step foot into that store until they fire that lady and bring Sabrina or Serena back . She did awesome designs on me. And I'm going to make sure I tell all of my friends and go workers not to shop here anymore. So so upset . read more

AS A FORMER EMPLOYEE. This was THE WORST JOB I have ever worked for. Toxic work environment, obvious favoritism, narcissistic entitled management. the OWNER/CEO is a COWARD. This is a business that knows NOTHING regarding how to treat customers, or employees alike. Indoctrinated to constantly bothering customers, being hypocritical pretending to be a "POSITIVE VIBE" store. Overall, not a healthy environment. If you value your time, mental health, money stay away. These people care NOTHING for anybody else except for their own narcissistic/toxic selves. So many flaws, and errors within the company. As other employees would belittle, degrade you/each other, judgments towards each other, and especially towards customers. I pledged my service towards this company, worked hard NEVER late, WORKED HARD everyday! doing my greatest in all that I have aspired. DESPITE all of this NEVER "Good Enough" for this greedy company. Not happy with the way they give anybody management position without the proper training . Glad my daughter doesn't work for them any more . They were underpaying her . While the new hires were earning $13 . 50 an hour they kept my daughter at $13 dollars an hour and she basically trained the new people and the manager and did there duties and did not get paid for it . This company took advantage of my daughter being that she was 17 years old . And lied to her about giving her a higher position and they moved her to a store in Scottsdale and told her they would give her a $1 raise . That alone does not pay for the travel to Scottsdale living in the east valley . But I am glad that she quit ! She will be making $22.00 an hour at the post office . I got her in and she doesn't have to worry about asking for a raise it is given automatically, and not $1 the way this company was doing my daughter . And on top of that they lost a good henna artist . read more

Such wonderful service there the ladies in there especially Irene were outstanding! I had been to every store in there that I thought sold dresses was looking for one for my court house wedding today which I had just found out I was getting married Saturday night.. we had just so happened to be passing the henna shoppe and I wasn't going to stop but my sister in law said she saw white dresses in there as we were passing we stopped in there and Irene came over asked what we were looking for, we told her we were looking for a white dress, she went through the whole store and picked out every white or off white dress for me even the other girls in there were looking for dresses in the back for me! I found my dress! $20 and then Irene gave me a free henna that matches a design on the dress! Wonderful store definitely will be shopping there again! And they a cute dresses! read more

I went to get a henna tattoo for my birthday and Susan was my artist, She was very friendly and did a great job! This store also has very cute clothes and jewelry that are reasonably priced. One of the employees gave my daughter a little one for free and she was so excited to get one. I got the jagua henna which is a navy color, I really like how dark it is. The only downside is that can smear and easily stain other parts of the skin and you have to let it dry for at least 45 minutes so it was kinda hard to not use my hand for that long. It wasn't that big of a deal though and to me was worth it! It's also supposed to last about 2 weeks. I love it! I am a satisfied customer and recommend this place! read more

I love this shop! Fun, creative items and sophisticated boutique style clothing. I am an Indian style nut so the wall scarfs, oils, and jewelry always keep my attention, but the freestyle artists are what keep me coming back. Lyric, is who I prefer for my favorite traditional mandala style art, but I've seen some of the other girls work and it is excellent too. I appreciate the upbeat, family feel between the girls in this shop, I imagine it has something to do with the management. Did you know they do artwork on pregnant bellies and shiny chemo heads? What a beautiful way to celebrate life's greatest challenges and joys. read more

I took my daughter to the Henna Shoppe yesterday. Susan was her artist. My daughter asked her to free style a design around her existing tatoos. Susan did an absolutely amazing masterpiece on my daughter's arm. It's too bad it isn't a permanent tatoo. Susan is so very talented. I have been shopping at the Henna Shoppe since it opened. I have seen her henna tatoos on other customers and every one of her designs are beautiful. Not only is she talented but she is also an incredibly sweet person. I love the Henna Shoppe. I have gone to the Henna Shoppe a few times and each time I've been greeted with smiles and warm welcomes. I've personally received all my hennas from the Manager (Lyric) who acted with professionalism and maturity. Lyric is very talented and regardless of the design I've asked for she always delivers quality work. I've always been very satisfied with my Hennas. This place was amazing. Almost as soon as we came in we were greeted and she explained the pricing. We came in kinda close to closing and had like 4- 5 people ahead of us, but she immediately called for backup and Beth came in and helped out. She was awesome. We had a great time and they were so sweet even though they had to stay open late to get our henna tattoos done. I have been here a few times recently to buy henna for my own use at home. I went in the other day and finally got some work done by Susan, and she was amazing. Very nice lady, very down to earth, and her work was gorgeous. I am soo beyond happy with how it turned out. I definitely plan to come back and get more work done soon. I came in with my granddaughter who found a picture that she liked online and I found the Sanskrit word for Daughter's Daughter. Majarle did them both quickly and skillfully. My granddaughter was thrilled with hers, s was I, and she was checking hers out all evening. We got lots of compliments on them and referred everyone to Majarle. read more
