Came here as took our dog to nearby animal hospital. Only got beer, wine and chicken fingers so not much to go on but bartender was so friendly had to do a review. Place is nice with good decor, plenty of tvd and mix of bar, high tops and table seating. Menu is classic bar food. Only Thing wish they had was a good clam chowder. Also doing a good roast beef would be nice. Prices were on high side as my Sam Adams was 11 though it might have been 20 ounces as mug look big. Will come back next time taking our dog to see vet. read more

Came in on a Monday afternoon to catch the slate of Euro games. The service was excellent; Chris, one of the owners, went above and beyond in making us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was (surprisingly) excellent - much better quality than standard pub fare; it is the best fish and chips I've had stateside. Ambience was also wonderful and speakers were tuned to the matches during play. I look back to returning for future events - and even just for bite and a pint when I'm in the neighborhood. read more

I came here with a group for a football Sunday. The staff is so fun! They are nice and friendly I'll joke around with you, which to me adds to a great Sunday football environment. There are a good amount of chairs and tables as well as plenty of space for standing. The food is fairly decent and there is a decent selection of drinks. While there it was great, had a good time however very annoyed when I just looked at my bank statement... my tab was 63.15. I signed the reciept for 63.15 and handed it to the bartender with a 20 dollar cash tip... however my card 2 days later was charged 75.15. They took it upon themselves to add a 20% tip to my bill on top of the cash tip I gave them. Never going there again. read more

This is a nice, new stop on the way home from work. Before you know it midnight rolls around and it's a work night but stay anyway. The crowd is friendly and if you get to regular you will see how consistent that is. The staff are practically mind readers. Very quick to keep your glass full. Cool stuff on the walls and bathrooms are private and clean no matter how busy it gets. They decorated very well for the holiday. Warm and cosy. (they always make the place look festive) They sell very nice swag. It is simple with the logo on the left chest and very comfortable to wear. I think hats too Food is delicious and if you don't know what to get off the menu and there are 4 of you just order everything. The total is only $119 for all of it. I don't know about you but I have been to a lot of Irish pubs. I've been to ones that are run down and a little grungy. I've been to ones that are more restaurant focused and bougie and then Ive been to Hendricksons which is the perfect balance of fun, Friendly. Good Food, And a good ol Irish pub vibe. They have a great menu filled with items from wings to salads plus a nice cocktail menu that hits the spot. I indulged in their Moscow mule and it was delicious. Additionally all their drinks are quickly and easily made which means the wait time is minimal for your favorite cocktail which keeps things moving and your thirst quenched. They have superb natural light from their massive windows as well as ample lighting to make everyone look their best. I have been in quite a few pubs that are so dark that you can't see in front of you so for me - this was a huge plus. There are multiple TVs (great for all the sports watching and they'll play sound for the big events [big bonus]). They have seating all around from the back area for bigger parties and the front area right in front of the windows for smaller more intimate parties and a ton of standing room. All in all with the space to stretch out and not be crammed like sardines. The amazing natural light. The plethora of TVs. The friendly staff. The food and of course the drinks. This place is going to become a new favorite not only for myself but the neighborhood as well. I've been waiting for a long time for this place to open and when I did I was brutally disappointed that they only serve beer in cans like an alcoholic in someone's garage... I give it three stars for ambiance, The service was brutally slow and when I went to move to where somebody would actually acknowledge I wanted a drink I was made to feel bad because I was in peoples way not a real people friendly place. I came to Hendrickson's for the Michigan Championship game and it was great! It's a quaint space with a whole lot of love. The bartenders were SO nice and accommodating. Even though the place was packed, the service was beyond and they kept checking in and refilling our drinks in an incredibly timely manner. The food is a bit pricier, but delicious! I had the chicken Caesar salad and my friend had the chicken sandwich, and we both enjoyed the food we ordered. Enjoyed my first time at Hendrickson's. This is a relatively new Irish Pub along First Avenue. First thing I noticed upon walking in was how clean the place was. I'm not used to that in a pub - it was different - in a good way. Staff here was extremely friendly and welcoming. We sat at the bar and were served immediately. Ordered a beer and the cheese curds to start. Cheese curds were little morsels of fried cheddar cheese with a side of ranch dressing. Highly recommend. For an entree we shared the chicken curry. Wow!!! This was truly great and different. You wouldn't expect to find a chicken curry in an Irish pub - but it tasted amazing and I'm so happy we tried it. Again, I give this my utmost recommendation! Rest of menu looked good as well. You have your burger, chicken wings, chicken tenders, salads, etc... the normal pub fare.
