My family and I came here for brunch on Saturday. Area is really nice surrounding the restaurant. Valet for the parking which is a plus. Inside has a tavern feel which I loved. The French onion soup was packed with flavor. The cheese tasted fresh if that makes sense. The best dish out of all of them. The margarita pizza wasn't the best. It tasted like they didn't use any other ingredients besides tomato sauce and cheese. My cheeseburger sliders were pink and not well done like I asked. I didn't eat much of it. My truffle fries were good. I want to try this place again maybe for dinner or a regular lunch because I wasn't too keen on their brunch menu. read more

Our first time here was in December - I called the same day and made reservations for brunch and indoor dining. The service was phenomenal from start to finish! Not only was our server attentive and knowledgeable, but so was every single person that worked there! We never felt ignored, and that really matters and highly contributes to an excellent dining experience. The food in my opinion was 3.5-4/5. I had the eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon (I've had better), and my friend had the Sliced Skirt Steak with Lemongrass ... I don't think he enjoyed it much. We did have cocktails that were delicious, however! Try their Smokey Spiced Margarita made with Casamigos Mezcal! It's on their Seasonal Specialties cocktail menu. Upon arrival the valet was a rude and to assure you it wasn't just me my cousin that came in another car had the same exact experience with him separately! I went to the front to give a name and wait my hour wait time and was told that I couldn't not give a name without the entire party present even though the wait time is 1 hour! After explaining to him that that policy really doesn't make any sense he said ok I'll put your name down. (Thanks for the favor) I sat and waited and just watched everyone come and get seated as we sat there for an hour waiting and being patient. I asked to be seated inside and was seated within 3 min. Now we sit at our table our server brought over bread and asked what we wanted to drink we started off with water we haven't even sat down long enough to review the menu options so we started that. Now after bringing the bread it took 10minutes to get utensil's. The server had good suggestions but came across in a rush.. for example as I'm looking at the menu after he has taken someone else's order he's tapping his pen while he waits for me to make up my mind. RUDE! So we order a passion fruit margarita, Chardonnay & a white cosmo for drinks and for dinner lobster tail, creamed spinach, lobster truffle Mac and cheese, salmon that come with mushrooms and spinach, shrimp tempura, chicken fingers and French fries. The margarita was sent back way to sour the server said we can't guarantee the drink will be good I also didn't do another white cosmo the drink was JUST okay I got a wine which was much better. ******The food handler come to the table to bring the food and when he gets to my daughter he puts fried calamari in front of her I explain to him that this is wrong and not what we ordered and he threw my plate in front of me like literally just dropped it like it was crap in front of my face****** I immediately asked for a manager and WHY DID I ASK FOR HIM WHEN HE DID NOTHINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG! I explained how his staff's behavior was unacceptable and he agreed but did nothing. He actually had the guy come to me and he said the plate was hot however I asked him after throwing my plate in front of me if that's how you serve you toss the plate down he ignored me and kept putting food on the table. Food: C+ I'm not a picky eater by any means. But when there steakhouse prices on your menu, there are certain expectations you have to meet. I ordered the Cajun tomahawk ribeye- medium rare. It was a popular choice according to other reviews. The steak was clearly overcooked and overcharred. All I could taste was the burnt char. I notice other reviews also commented on this. I didn't complain because I ate half of it hoping the next bite would redeem itself. I wasn't even mad. I was just very disappointed because it was an $80 steak. I had much higher expectations. Everything else we ordered were "safe" choices: Chicken Parmesan, fried calamari, and sides. Cocktails were on the stronger side which can be good or bad depending on your preference. Service: B- This is not to say that I felt the staff was rude. But I would've appreciated it if our waiter checked in with us at least once after we were served our meals. When it comes to service, my only rule of thumb is that the waiter should check in with you during your meal. Food can be subpar but there are other ways to lift the experience of your patrons. If you want a generous tip, do your part. Ambience: A The atmosphere was buzzing on a Wednesday night. The space is much larger than I initially thought. You really can't go wrong with anything you order from this place. To start we got the Kobe beef hotdog and the zucchini + eggplant chips which were incredible. I ordered the yellowfin tuna cooked black and blue and it was one of the best tunas I've had, perfectly cooked and perfectly lightly sauced. I also had a filet mignon slider which literally melted in my mouth, I'll have to order that as my main meal next time instead of sharing the dish! We ended the meal with the stickie bun, which is a life changing Cinnamon roll with vanilla ice cream on top. Words can't describe how magical it was. Went to Hendricks for my birthday with my family. The ambiance is beautiful, many rooms and nooks and crannies; reminiscent of a fancy 1800s tavern, with wooden furnishings and a fireplace. I thought the food was phenomenal, my family didn't love the calamari, they said it was too chewy, but I didn't mind it. The Caesar salad was phenomenal- I love when they make it real with anchovies. My dad and I split the prime bone in rib-eye eye with marrow bones which was great (and the waiter wrapped up the leftover bones to bring home to our dogs). My mom and sister got the scallops which also were very good. Desserts were great but we were super full so had to take them home. If you're questioning whether to get it or not, GET IT. For the entrees, we ordered the Prime Bone In, 3lb lobster and the Porterhouse. They cooked the meats right at the temperature we asked for and the food all came out relatively quick. The lobsters were brought out and they asked if we wanted it to be shelled and did it for us on the spot. All the entrees were very good and I would get it again. For the desserts, I'd have to say my favorite was the apple crisp. Every bite had apple and the streusel bits on top was delicious! Yes, it is located at a horrible intersection for entering the parking lot. The place doesn't look that big and thank goodness it has valet parking. Once you enter you forget everything I mentioned above and wonder at the size of the place inside. For the night we were there as a group of seven we sat outside (which you can't even tell exists from the outside -- even though that sounds dumb writing it). From there it was a wonderful meal in a reasonably casual atmosphere. We come to Hendrick's for family events, usually with a table of 7 or more. We almost always eat brunch which I love. I would easily rate Hendricks 5 stars if we ate there for lunch or dinner, but I will say their brunch is excellent. I just find the place very expensive. It is listed as a steak restaurant, so their prices reflect the prices of most high end steak restaurants. Their brunch menu is excellent. The service is very attentive and very professional. Their entrees, sides and desserts are always excellent and at a high standard. came here for the first time last week. if you're worried about covid, i def don't recommend coming here as it's extremely crowded and the tables are right on top of each other. for appetizer we got the kobe beef hotdog (picture attached) and the fried calamari (picture attached). i've had better calamari but it was decent. the kobe beef hot dog was tasty. for dinner i had the filet mignon sliders that were actually really good. super tasty and perfectly filling. two people i was with got the skirt steak and it was cold, one sent it back and one just dealt with it. again, they've had better steak at other places and for the price, wasn't worth it. overall the food was decent. i was expecting more from the reviews and being it's a poll restaurant, i had high expectations. i'll probably go back and try again but not rushing to go read more

My partner and I just dined here for the first time over the weekend for dinner. We've both always been aware of the restaurant because we're frequently at other restaurants, etc. in the area, but hadn't ever experienced it until last night. And thankfully, we finally did! I'll start off by saying that in the 13 years my partner and I have been together; he's never once said that "He not only wanted to come back ASAP, but is already looking forward too our next visit!" From the overall atmosphere (we dined outside), service, cocktails, quality of the food, how it was prepared/presented and last, but not least, it's taste! 5 stars across the board! Sadly, we didn't have enough room for dessert, but will definitely have too give it a try next time because they had a lot of options that sounded delicious! The indoor dining room definitely looks/feels like a traditional upscale steakhouse; of which is fine, but in my opinion wasn't comparable to the outdoor dining patio where we requested to be seated. That said, I'd probably only visit during the seasons that the outdoor dining patio is open because it's overall more aesthetically appealing/pleasing to me. Valet was also friendly and efficient. Spot has valet parking so it's easy regardless of weather outside to get in and out of the restaurant. We ordered the Greek salad, lobster cocktail and calamari. All was perfect. How often have you had thick calamari rings that are cooked to perfection w the right amount of batter and not chewy or rubbery? We'll these are those. They are even great cold. That never happens. The salad was excellent w a wedge of feta, bell peppers, kalamata olives, cukes and tomatoes. The lobster cocktail was a whole lobster chilled and cut so the tender meat slid out easily. Prime service from valet and hosts to the waiter and other staff. Seafood tower was very nice appetizer and they replaced our clams with shrimp (by our request). Lobster salad was excellent and my grilled octopus was cooked to exact tenderness/firmness that type of dish requires. My friends had steaks which they were happy with and the staff even did a really cool anniversary surprise for our table. Very nice establishment that felt both upscale and homey at the same time. The only down side was that we went during brunch hours and they didn't have mashed potatoes or rice for steaks but my friend got fries as the carb to go with his huge steak. I heard many things about this place. But it was finally time to try it for myself. It was another birthday outing for my group of 8. We ended up outdoors - normally I avoid that given the weather induced anxiety. Fortunately the weather was surprisingly - warm with the occasional cool breeze. Today's drink was a G&T. Actually pretty tasty for such a simple drink. I have given up on ordering crab cakes in NY but it called to me to give it a try. For entree I ordered the skirt steak. Note nobody that night had any clue of what's good here so there were no expectations. Fortunately, the crab cakes lived up to their description and indeed it was true lump crab meat! It was a good sized portion and satisfyingly fresh. The skirt steak was a good sized portion accompanied by a roasted head of garlic. It was cooked perfectly medium as requested and frankly, it was delicious and juicy. We shared the desserts - key lime pie, apple crisp and some chocolate cake. The first two were excellent. Key lime was tart. The apple crisp was sweet with a crumbly crisp on top served in a mason jar. The chocolate cake was honestly a little pedestrian. But overall, it was an excellent meal in a beautiful environment. You should come try if you haven't already. read more

Fantastic food, service was fine, The Host was a bit stuffy at first which was disappointing. He didn't hear/understand my husband say his name and that we had a reservation at first, (maybe the masks made it hard for him to hear) but I think he thought we didn't have a reservation and treated us like we were on the Pay No Mind List for a few minutes and started talking to someone else. When he was done and my husband said his name and reservation again, the host suddenly realized, changed his tone and wished us Happy Anniversary. The food was delicious (my hubby had the wagyu steak and I had surf & turf and we had the apple crisp for dessert), the atmosphere was nice... but they don't treat you like family so don't expect a glass of champagne or anything for your anniversary like most places do.
