Rented a uhaul truck from this place. Paid for it and when we went to pick it up the store was closed. We called the number and the man told us too bad they aren't open on Saturdays. Even though their website says they are and they collected the money. We actually had an appointment for 0900 Saturday. Very shady and unhelpful. The man on the phone was rude. This tow company is the rudest . My brother in law used their services I called down there I thought I was loosing signal he told no sir I hung up don't know what that was about . I think the guy answering the phone was on something just my opinion. So we drive to Conway to check on everything we get to the yard and the windows are down and it's raining . My car had been towed after leaving 2 VISIBLE hand written notes on the windshield under the wiper and at the house the car was sitting in front of because the motor belt broke and was waiting to move the car. I have called at least 6 times to come and get my belongings after charging me a service fee to do so. Each time I called the older man at the widow blatantly hung up on me. I had another garage install shock absorbers front and back. After a week I sensed something wasn't right. It dropped in at Helton's without an appointment- it took them just a minute to discover that the rear shocks were not installed properly. Horrible service. Condescending, degrading, disrespectful, down right nasty woman workin. Never have I ever experienced such contempt from anyone in the customer service industry. No ma'am I don't believe you work for free, nor do I agree with your hypocrisy for this question. However the gentleman working this afternoon was kind and helpful. Answered all my questions and was very helpful. I am a grown woman and I am allowed to help someone who has no idea what they are handling. You shouldn't be in any customer service position if you're not compassionate and understanding of others. I will tell everyone I know if they ever need towing assistance to NEVER use Helton's. I would pay more for this service than ever refer anyone to you. Shame on you and your policies, service and total disregard to actually help those who question your decisions. read more

AVOID HELTON'S WRECKER & REPAIR SERVICES AT ALL COSTS!!! 1. Helton's towed my car incorrectly and caused over $4,700 worth of damage. Helton's bent my exhaust so severely that it was about four inches from touching the ground, and I drive an SUV. Helton's also broke the muffler hangers and caused a huge dent in the driveshaft which caused it to be unbalanced. 2. When I contacted Helton's about the damage, they claimed they picked up the car in that condition. Not true!!!! 3. Helton's charged me $300 for a 2 mile tow. Extremely overpriced. I don't know how this shop is still in business- very unprofessional and dishonest. I wouldn't trust this place to tow a wheelbarrow. read more

0/10, would not recommend! These people got me out of $486 dollars to be exact! My vehicle had some problems on a Friday night & they ending up towing it to their shop until Monday morning. It wasn't drivable so they told they had a mechanic that could fix my car for me. I went to pick it up & they charged me $300 plus for the tow! & $100 something for the fix. Well the fix did not last long at all! It lasted me about 1 week & half before it did the SAME EXACT THING. I called them about it thinking they would come tow it & fix it correctly because obviously something wasn't fixed right! The man on the phone told me they wouldn't be able to tow it until Tuesday, it was Friday! I called Tuesday & the lady told me she would give me a call back once the man & the mechanic came in. Never received a phone call! I called 4 times after that & never got an answer. Avoid these people at all cost! They will only rip you out of your money!!!! read more

This place is absolutely awful. I came in without a single complaint -- I simply wanted my car back. I didn't think it deserved to be towed, but I didn't feel like arguing. Another family walks in, and they were towed for the same reason I was. So, of course, we discussed that. Neither of us were talking to any employee (they didn't really give us the chance; they barely acknowledged us at first). Midway through our conversation about our cars being towed, the receptionist -- a 60-year-old miserable hag -- JUMPED INTO our conversation to start an argument with me. I argued back at first, but when she kept going, I just repeated "I'm just trying to get my car back" until she stopped, because this was exactly what I wanted to avoid. I just wanted to get my car and leave. But apparently, the fine employees at Helton's Wrecker only like making conversation whenever they get to be confrontational and rude. Well, some of them do at least. The other guy who I paid did not speak a single word to me. I was being polite, saying thank you when he returned my information, saying thank you when he opened the gate, etc. Nothing. This business is ran by people who are obviously miserable with their lives. I don't recommend it. Extremely rude. I wish them happiness someday. read more

I am on my third time using this location. They were over the top helpful. I can't believe any other review as I believe they cannot be true. This is the only location I would work with and have specifically asked uhaul even when told they aren't available with what Size truck I want. They came thru, worked with me and even delivered truck to my door. Loading my car on hauler they were there to help secure it. I truly appreciate these great folks and will continue to use this service location first. read more

This company sucks! My son chose to park in a no parking spot and left overnight(alternative to driving after a few beers). Helton's towed hsi vehicle and charged him $300. The distance was 3 miles away from their place of business. I called the next morning to get a quote from them on towing my truck to their location and I was quoted $65. I understand charging storage etc... but this is excessive. Karma is a @#$%^! Remember that! read more

Worst business I've ever come in contact with. Towed my car, won't give me an estimate, making me wait until Monday when they open to get it. Got them on phone and they were rude, unprofessional and ended up hanging up on us and when we called back, they wouldn't answer. If I could rate this business 0 stars I would! Save your money and do not use this place! They are very unprofessional and rude. The poor old man didn't even know his DOT laws and tried to tell my husband he couldn't run his DOT numbers on a magnet given by his transport company! He went to the extent of calling the dot officers and they told him yes that's fine if they are 4in apart (which they are) his DOT numbers are from a from a very well know transport company he argued with my husband again about the numbers not being far enough apart. The old man then went and got a ruler just to measure and yep everything was perfect. They are overpriced and do not do anything! The lady in the front is SO rude. I will NEVER use this company again and would not recommend anyone to do so either. There are plenty of other towing places to use in Conway & the mayflower area that would be willing to work with you and treat you with respect. read more
