I had an exceptionally positive experience with Kenny, the owner and mechanic. Kenny seems to be very competent and was a good communicator while my vehicle was in his care. Admittedly, I'm no expert in automotive costs, so after receiving my bill for a replaced front axel I followed up with a man more in the know: he confirmed that I had indeed received a very fair price for the parts and labor. I've taken my car to Austin Bros. in the past, but will probably bring it back to Budget Automotive next time it needs servicing!

Rather than try and make a few bucks off a college kid he told him that although it needed repairs it could wait until he got home. Didn't even charge him for checking over the car. I don't see how they get a 5 star rating because they were absolutely no help at all. I'm sure they don't have any problem crunching the numbers when it's time to bill you. I can not elaborate on the quality of there work and never will. They allowed us to leave the trailer behind their shop while they hunted for replacement parts for the truck. The manager even used his own car to take us to a nearby hotel where we stayed until the truck was repaired. I can't say enough good things about the care we received from Total Tire and Automotive. Because we all need to keep in mind EVERY shop has right of refusal, especially with unusual, or improperly maintained vehicles. They were polite and direct! I see their prices are normal and they have a ton of repeat customers. Auto repair is not an automatic moneymaker on every car. Even on expensive jobs. Honest. I still think they run a good shop and folks need to keep in mind poor reviews often have quite a backstory that the reviewer never mentions. A shop that won't get into jobs over their head, is a properly managed shop, whether I am disappointed or not.
